Abstract

The quality of healthcare services is crucial for improving public health, with Human Resource Management (HRM) playing a vital role. HRM involves managing individuals and teams within an organization to ensure optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals, encompassing recruitment, training, development, evaluation, and compensation. This literature review aims to enhance understanding of HRM's role in improving healthcare service quality, identify influencing factors, and offer recommendations to overcome obstacles in HRM. A qualitative research approach was employed to analyze and synthesize existing literature on HRM in healthcare services. Thematic analysis identified recurring themes in articles, papers, and books. We conducted a thorough search of databases and books, using relevant keywords to ensure comprehensive coverage. Effective HRM in healthcare includes the recruitment, training, development, and retention of healthcare professionals. Supportive work environments and strong managerial backing significantly enhance motivation and performance, ultimately improving patient care quality. However, many developing countries face HRM challenges, including workforce shortages, uneven distribution of healthcare professionals, and insufficient training opportunities. Additional issues involve inadequate training programs, bureaucratic obstacles, and administrative inefficiencies. Addressing these challenges through comprehensive HRM strategies can significantly improve healthcare delivery and workforce management. This literature review underscores the pivotal role of HRM in enhancing healthcare service quality. Through strategic recruitment, training, development, and retention of healthcare professionals, HRM fosters supportive work environments and managerial support, essential for enhancing healthcare worker motivation and performance, ultimately benefiting patient care. To address persistent challenges, tailored HRM strategies must adapt to environmental changes and prioritize ongoing training programs, administrative streamlining, and equitable workforce distribution policies. Understanding HRM's roles and challenges is essential for developing effective strategies to ensure a competent and motivated healthcare workforce, thereby continuously enhancing healthcare service quality.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has brought significant changes in the business world, requiring companies to innovate and improve operational efficiency in order to maintain competitive advantage. One technology that plays a central role in this transformation is Artificial Intelligence (AI). This article aims to examine the role of AI in business through a comprehensive literature review, exploring the benefits, challenges, and strategies for implementing AI in facing competition in the digital era. AI makes a major contribution to improving operational efficiency through the automation of repetitive tasks (Duan et al., 2019), analyzing large amounts of data for more accurate decision making (Chui et al., 2016), and improving the personalization of customer experiences (Haenlein & Kaplan, 2019). However, the implementation of AI also faces a number of challenges, such as high investment costs, limited expertise, and ethical issues related to data privacy. Recommendations from this study include the importance of investing in workforce training, developing an AI implementation strategy that is aligned with business goals (Bughin et al., 2018), and improving data security to maintain customer trust. This study is expected to provide useful insights for academics and business practitioners in optimizing the use of AI to maintain competitive advantage amidst increasingly tight competition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas teknologi dan sarana prasarana yang mendukung penggunaan sistem rekam medik elektronik (RME), mengukur tingkat kepuasan pengguna, serta mengidentifikasi manfaat dan kendala yang dihadapi tenaga medis di RSUD Sele Be Solu Sorong, Papua Barat Daya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas teknologi mendukung penggunaan RME dengan baik, dan tingkat kepuasan pengguna berada pada kategori puas. Namun, kendala seperti gangguan jaringan dan kesalahan sistem, serta masalah kolaborasi di antara tenaga medis, menjadi penghambat. Meskipun demikian, manfaat dari RME termasuk efisiensi waktu dan akses informasi yang lebih baik, meskipun isu keamanan dan privasi tetap perlu diperhatikan. Kata kunci: Rekam Medik Elektronik; kualitas teknologi; kepuasan pengguna; tenaga medis; RSUD Sele Be Solu.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of competence and work environment on performance mediated by job satisfaction. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The sample used in this study were employees of the Babulu Public Health Center, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan, totaling 67 employees. The research data was obtained from the results of filling out the questionnaire and analyzed using the SEM PLS analysis technique with the help of the SmartPLS program. The results of this study indicate that competence and work environment have a significant effect on performance either directly or mediated by job satisfaction. High employee competence and supported by a good work environment will increase employee job satisfaction which will further improve their performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dan Asta Cita dalam membentuk karakter mahasiswa Universitas Sangga Buana YPKP Bandung. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, penelitian ini memetakan pemahaman, sikap, serta perilaku mahasiswa terhadap nilai kebangsaan dan karakter. Hasil menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara idealisme nilai dengan realitas kampus, terutama dalam aspek integritas, kepedulian sosial, dan disiplin. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada pendekatan integratif antara nilai ideologis dan arah kebijakan nasional dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model strategis penguatan karakter mahasiswa menuju visi Indonesia Emas 2045. Kata Kunci: Pancasila, Asta Cita, karakter mahasiswa, pendidikan tinggi, Indonesia Emas 2045.
