Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of visionary leadership strategies in the implementation of organizational vision and mission based on local wisdom. Visionary leadership is expected to be able to direct organizations towards sustainable long-term goals, while maintaining local cultural values. Through a qualitative approach with case studies in several organizations in Indonesia, this study identifies relevant local wisdom values, such as mutual cooperation, deliberation, and social harmony, and how these values ??can be integrated into the formulation of organizational vision and mission. The results of the study indicate that leaders who successfully integrate local wisdom are not only able to improve organizational sustainability, but also strengthen relationships with local communities. On the other hand, the challenges faced include the clash between the demands of globalization and the preservation of local values, as well as resistance to change among the younger generation. Supporting factors for successful implementation include a deep understanding of local wisdom, active community involvement, and support from government policies that support the preservation of local culture. This study contributes to leadership theory by adding the dimension of local wisdom as an important element in effective leadership in the Indonesian context. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran strategi kepemimpinan visioner dalam implementasi visi dan misi organisasi berbasis kearifan lokal. Kepemimpinan visioner diharapkan mampu mengarahkan organisasi menuju tujuan jangka panjang yang berkelanjutan, sambil tetap menjaga nilai-nilai budaya setempat. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus pada beberapa organisasi di Indonesia, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang relevan, seperti gotong royong, musyawarah, dan harmoni sosial, serta bagaimana nilai-nilai tersebut dapat diintegrasikan dalam perumusan visi dan misi organisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemimpin yang berhasil mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal tidak hanya mampu meningkatkan keberlanjutan organisasi, tetapi juga mempererat hubungan dengan komunitas lokal. Di sisi lain, tantangan yang dihadapi antara lain adalah benturan antara tuntutan globalisasi dan pelestarian nilai-nilai lokal, serta resistensi terhadap perubahan di kalangan generasi muda. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan implementasi antara lain adalah pemahaman yang mendalam tentang kearifan lokal, keterlibatan aktif masyarakat, dan dukungan kebijakan pemerintah yang mendukung pelestarian budaya lokal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada teori kepemimpinan dengan menambah dimensi kearifan lokal sebagai elemen penting dalam kepemimpinan yang efektif di konteks Indonesia.

Abstract

Education is an important element that aims to educate and develop individual potential. Through education, a person can build creativity, broaden their horizons, and develop a good personality. The quality of education in schools varies, which is largely influenced by the school's accreditation. Accreditation can be defined as formal recognition given by an authorized body to a school as an educational institution, indicating the suitability and quality of the school. High accreditation is usually associated with good quality education, reflects the quality of the institution and increases public trust in the school. However, in practice, accreditation is often viewed as a formal status without understanding its substantive meaning as a guarantee of educational quality. This research aims to analyze the relationship between school accreditation and the quality of education in SLB-C Negeri Pembina, South Kalimantan Province. Guaranteeing the quality of education through accreditation aims to ensure that students receive educational services and results that meet the promised standards. This research also aims to identify the extent to which accreditation at SLB reflects the actual quality of education, as well as its role in providing quality assurance to the community and education stakeholders.

Abstract

Transformational leadership is one of the factors that can affect the quality of employee work life through cooperation and collaboration. This leadership style emphasizes the decision of the division of tasks according to the strengths and weaknesses of each employee. The data in this study were collected through interviews and documentation from several lecturers who teach at one of the universities in South Kalimantan. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership can affect the quality of work life through aspects of ability, work character, influence, work experience, commitment, salary and social status, and development. In addition, some of the challenges faced by universities in implementing the transformational leadership system include adjusting views, the high time and effort required, and the complexity of the structure and hierarchy of the university. The implementation of transformational leadership is considered important in the development of students and universities in accordance with the vision and mission they have and the goals they want to achieve. ABSTRAKKepemimpinan transformasional merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas kehidupan kerja karyawan melalui kerja sama dan kolaborasi. Gaya kepemimpinan ini menekankan keputusan pembagian tugas yang sesuai dengan kelebihan dan kekurangan setiap karyawan. Data pada penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi dari beberapa dosen yang mengajar di salah satu universitas tinggi di Kalimantan Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dapat mempengaruhi kualitas kehidupan kerja melalui aspek kemampuan, karakter kerja, pengaruh, pengalaman kerja, komitmen, gaji dan status sosial, serta perkembangan. Selain itu, beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi perguruan tinggi dalam implementasi sistem kepemimpinan transformasional antara lain adalah penyesuaian pandangan, tingginya waktu dan upaya yang diperlukan, serta rumitnya struktur dan hierarki perguruan tinggi. Implementasi kepemimpinan transformasional dianggap penting dalam perkembangan mahasiswa dan perguruan tinggi sesuai dengan visi dan misi yang dimiliki serta tujuan yang ingin dicapai.
