Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyse the relationship between interest and mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 66 Bengkulu City. The type of research used is quantitative with correlation methods. The sample in this research was 50 students from class V of SD Negeri 66 Bengkulu City. Data collection techniques in this research used questionnaire techniques and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique uses the r test and the Pearson correlation test with the help of the Statistical Product for Servicer Solution (SPSS) 22 program. Based on the research results from the questionnaire for variable amounted to 0.279 and obtained a calculated r value of 0.843. So r calculated 0.843 > r table 0.279 so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the results of the Pearson correlation calculation, it is 0.843, which means that the degree of relationship between interest and mathematics learning outcomes has a very strong relationship and the direction of the relationship is positive, which means that the greater the student's interest, the greater the value they will obtain and vice versa.

Abstract

Learning has an important meaning in the development of human resources. This research aims to determine the influence of social skills and interpersonal intelligence on student learning independence. This research is quantitative research. The sample for this research was 273 students of class IV Intermediate in Yogyakarta City, taken using Stratified Random Sampling. Data collection techniques using observation and psychological scales by designing instruments. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence of learning motivation and interpersonal intelligence on the learning independence of fourth grade students at SD Madya Yogyakarta with a calculated F value of 162.804, and a significant P value of 0.000 <0.05. The R square value is 0.547. This means that social skills (X1) and interpersonal intelligence (X2) simultaneously have a significant effect on learning independence (Y) by 54.7%. In conclusion, learning motivation and interpersonal intelligence have an important role in improving the quality of life of human resources.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine various educational theories that have developed over time and their relevance in the contemporary educational context. This research uses a document study or literature study method by analyzing various sources such as books, journals and articles related to educational theory. This research focuses on major educational theories, such as behavioral theory, constructivism, humanism, and critical and sociocultural theory, and how each theory contributes to the development of the modern education system. The results of the analysis show that each educational theory has different but complementary basic principles, and each provides a relevant approach to facing educational challenges in this digital era. Behavioral theory places greater emphasis on measuring learning outcomes through positive reinforcement, while constructivism encourages experience-based learning and problem solving. The humanistic approach emphasizes the development of individual potential, while critical and sociocultural theories encourage education to become a tool for social transformation. The conclusion of this research is that the application of various educational theories must be adapted to the needs of students, social context, and technological developments to create effective and relevant learning experiences.

Abstract

In this modern era, literacy mastery is very crucial for students. To develop literacy competencies in learning, a fundamental step is to cultivate the habit of reading. Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) program was formed in 2015 and began to be implemented nationally in all educational institutions in Indonesia since 2016, as a response to the low level of literacy in the Indonesian people. Therefore, this article discusses the analysis of the implementation of the school literacy movement. This study uses a qualitative approach and a descriptive narrative research type. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Percontohan Blangkejeren, Blangkejeren District, Gayo Lues Regency. The data sources came from informants consisting of grade I to VI teachers. The data collection methods used were semi-structured interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis method used the Milles and Huberman Model data analysis technique consisting of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions. While the data validity test used data triangulation techniques, namely triangulation of sources and techniques. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of the GLS program has brought great benefits to all school residents. Students are not only trained to read, but also developed in terms of self-confidence, insight, and creativity, including in utilizing used goods into works. Thus, GLS is able to create an active, creative, and literate learning environment. ABSTRAK Di era modern ini, penguasaan literasi sangat krusial bagi siswa. Untuk mengembangkan kompetensi literasi dalam pembelajaran, langkah fundamental adalah membudayakan kebiasaan membaca. Program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dibentuk pada tahun 2015 dan mulai diterapkan secara nasional di seluruh lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia sejak tahun 2016, sebagai respons terhadap rendahnya tingkat literasi masyarakat Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini membahas mengenai analisis implementasi gerakan literasi sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif naratif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Percontohan Blangkejeren Kecamatan Blangkejeren Kabupaten Gayo Lues. Sumber data berasal dari informan yang terdiri dari guru kelas I sampai VI. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data Model Milles dan Huberman yang terdiri atas, Kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi data yaitu triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa , implementasi program GLS telah membawa manfaat besar bagi seluruh warga sekolah. Siswa tidak hanya dilatih untuk membaca, tetapi juga dikembangkan dari segi kepercayaan diri, wawasan, dan kreativitas, termasuk dalam memanfaatkan barang bekas menjadi karya. Dengan demikian, GLS mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aktif, kreatif, dan literatif.

Abstract

Technology integration in education has changed learning, including Civic Education (PKn). This change raises the need for a systematic study to understand the direction and development of digital-based civil society research. This study uses a bibliometric approach to scientific publications indexed in the Scopus database from 2004 to 2025. The data was analyzed with the help of R-Biblioshiny, OpenRefine, and VOSviewer software to visually map research trends and patterns. There has been a significant increase in publications since 2017, with an average annual growth of 16.78%. Spain, the United States, and Indonesia are the countries with the highest publication contributions. The Journal of Citizenship Teaching & Learning and the Journal of Civics are the main sources of publications. The dominant keywords include digital citizenship, civic engagement, critical thinking, and values education. Global collaboration between researchers and institutions has been identified, although cross-border collaboration is still limited. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the dynamics of digital-based PKn research. The findings can be a strategic basis for education policy development, learning innovation, and further research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) approach in learning Science in grade V elementary schools, identify obstacles faced by teachers and schools, and explore student responses and involvement during the learning process. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the STEAM approach was applied through integrated and contextualized project-based learning, such as making balloon cars to understand the concepts of force and motion. The teacher acts as a facilitator, while students are actively involved in activities that encourage critical thinking, cooperation and creativity. The main obstacles faced include limited infrastructure, lack of teacher training, and limited time in the curriculum. Nonetheless, students showed high enthusiasm and improved conceptual understanding and social skills. The findings suggest that the STEAM approach has significant potential to improve the quality of science learning in primary schools if supported by adequate systems and training. ABSTRAKTujuan daripada pelaksanaan penelitian ini yakni melakukan anĂ¡lisis pengimplementasian STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) pada proses belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di kelas V sekolah dasar, mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi guru dan sekolah, serta menggali respons serta keikutsertaan siswa pada proses belajar. Penelitian mempergunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif serta data pnelitian didapat lewat teknik dokumentasi, wawancara, serta observasi. Hasil temuan penelitian memperlihatkan kalau pendekatan STEAM diterapkan melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang terintegrasi dan kontekstual, seperti pembuatan mobil balon untuk memahami konsep gaya dan gerak. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator, sementara siswa punya keterlibatan aktif pada proses aktivitas yang mendorong berpikir kritis, kerja sama, dan kreativitas. Kendala utama yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan sarana prasarana, kurangnya pelatihan guru, dan keterbatasan waktu dalam kurikulum. Meskipun demikian, siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan peningkatan pemahaman konseptual serta keterampilan sosial. Temuan ini memperlihatkan kalau pendekatan STEAM punya sebuah potensi signifikan untuk menaikkan kualitas hasil belajar IPA pada sekolah dasar jika ada dukungan oleh sistem dan pelatihan yang memadai.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Indonesian language and literature learning based on Balinese local wisdom in writing essays for fifth-grade students at SDN 7 Pemecutan. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, involving 31 students, a class teacher, and the principal as subjects. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that learning began with the delivery of narrative essay writing material through presentation media, followed by an introduction to the values of Balinese local wisdom. Students were directed to identify, understand, and relate local cultural values ??to everyday experiences, then express them in the form of narrative essays. This process made students more interested, creative, and able to produce writing that is relevant to the cultural context. The teacher acted as an active facilitator, guiding students individually and in groups so they could develop ideas, text structure, and written expression. The evaluation results showed that more than half of the students achieved writing skills above the Minimum Competency (KKM), although some still struggled to express their ideas effectively. These findings confirm that integrating local wisdom not only enhances writing skills but also strengthens students' cultural identity and critical thinking. However, obstacles such as time constraints and conventional evaluation methods still need to be addressed. Therefore, this study recommends the development of more comprehensive evaluation strategies and the implementation of differentiated writing instruction to accommodate the diverse abilities of students.
