Abstract

This article discusses the ‘Kampus Mengajar’ programme as an initiative to expand the accessibility of education and knowledge to the community. The main focus of the programme is to contribute positively to the community through the distribution of basic literacy knowledge from Musamus University students to targeted schools. This article will explore the concept, implementation and impact of the ‘Kampus Mengajar’ programme as a form of community service. The ‘Kampus Mengajar’ programme is an initiative of the Indonesian government that involves students as agents of change to assist the learning process in school. The article method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach in several primary schools in Merauke Regency. The results showed that the ‘Kampus Mengajar’ programme successfully improved students‘ learning motivation, teaching skills and introduced creative learning methods that are adaptive to local conditions. In addition, the programme also strengthened the relationship between universities and local communities and improved students' social awareness and professional skills. However, the study also identified some challenges such as programme sustainability and limited resources. Overall, the ‘Kampus Mengajar’ programme has a great potential in improving the quality of education in remote areas and can serve as a model for other community service programmes

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of character education in learning at SD YPK Ermasu. This study aims to analyze the application of character education in learning at SD YPK Ermasu. 2Character education plays an important role in shaping the personality of quality students, by instilling moral, social, and emotional values that support the self-development of students. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach, which involves observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of the study show that the implementation of character education at SD YPK Ermasu is carried out through various learning activities, both integrated in subjects and through extracurricular activities. In addition, teachers as learning agents, play an active role in instilling character values such as discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and respect for others. Obstacles faced in the implementation of character education include the lack of supporting resources and challenges in aligning students' character with the development of the times. Nevertheless, the school continues to strive to develop the character education program optimally through teacher training and continuous evaluation. This research is expected to contribute to the development of character education in elementary schools as part of efforts to form a generation with integrity and morality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara asupan makronutrien dengan kebugaran jasmani pada Mahasiswa jurusan PJKR Universitas Musamus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan PJKR Universitas Musamus tahun 2025. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode simple random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 mahasiswa. Asupan makronutrien diukur menggunakan metode food recall 2×24 jam dan dianalisis dengan aplikasi nutrisional seperti NutriSurvey. Kebugaran jasmani diukur melalui bleep test (untuk VO₂max), push-up test, dan sit-and-reach test sesuai standar tes kebugaran jasmani. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara asupan karbohidrat dan kebugaran jasmani (r = 0,462; p = 0,003), serta antara protein dan kebugaran jasmani (r = 0,399; p = 0,010). Namun, tidak ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan lemak dan tingkat kebugaran jasmani (r = -0,121; p = 0,436). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan karbohidrat dan protein dengan kebugaran jasmani mahasiswa, sedangkan asupan lemak tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna. Kelebihan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan metode pengukuran kebugaran jasmani yang objektif dan standar seperti bleep test dan push-up test, serta analisis asupan gizi yang menggunakan perangkat lunak nutrisi yang valid yaitu NutriSurvey. Sedangkan kekurangan dari penelitian ini adalah keterbatasan jumlah sampel hanya 40 responden yang dapat memengaruhi generalisasi hasil. Selain itu, metode food recall bersifat subjektif dan sangat bergantung pada daya ingat responden, yang dapat menimbulkan bias data asupan makanan. Temuan ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi perencanaan program gizi dan kebugaran di lingkungan kampus, khususnya dalam menyusun pedoman konsumsi makanan bergizi seimbang untuk mendukung performa fisik mahasiswa, terutama di jurusan olahraga seperti PJKR Universitas Musamus.
