Abstract

Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) is legal entities formed by and for villages to manage enterprises and engage in various types of business for the best possible welfare of the village community. According to evaluations, most BUMDES were assumed to has declined in profit due to COVID-19 pandemic, and more than 45% of BUMDes having difficulties to survive. The purpose of this research is to investigate the state of BUMDES during and before the pandemic, this includes the issue of vulnerabilities for support recovery, as well as strategies on recovery both for the short and medium term.The research constructed on a literature review followed by initial investigation. The results of the questionnaire-based survey reflected the state of BUMDES and were presented in spatial distribution. The data analysis revealed that the COVID-19 outbreak had no major impact on BUMDES overall performance. Furthermore, finding based on BUMDES interview data, more than 75% respondent indicating that the pandemic had no influence on BUMDES performance. The findings also demonstrate that BUMDES could be labelld as small firm with great resilience (tangguh) in the presence of external conditions.

Abstract

Sleman Regency is one of the regencies that is known to have a lot of potential in nature, tourism, and others, one of which is in Prambanan District, namely the Breksi Cliff tourist attraction. This research is descriptive qualitative with the aim of analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the Breksi Cliff tourism object and formulating a strategy for developing Breksi Cliff tourism objects. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation conducted with the Department of Tourism, Breksi Cliff managers, and visitors. Analysis of the data to determine the strategy of developing a tourist attraction is carried out by a SWOT analysis. Based on the SWOT analysis, the following strategies can be developed: SO (Strength and Opportunities) strategy by 1) Involving the community in all development planning and fostering a sense of community ownership of tourism objects, 2) Increasing promotion through social media. WO (Weaknesses and Opportunities) strategy by 1) Making souvenirs of typical food for Breksi Cliff tourism 2) Increasing the ability of human resources by holding foreign language skills training. ST strategy (Strength and Treats) by 1) Maintaining health protocols for mutual convenience. WT (Weaknesses and Treats) strategy by 1) Maintaining Product and Service Quality to be able to maintain the level of consumer confidence.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the influence of the consumer price index (CPI), electronic money transactions (e-money), money supply (M1) and exchange rates on inflation in Indonesia between the periods before the pandemic and after the Covid-19 pandemic . This research is a quantitative research with 67 data samples obtained. The data used in this study is published on the official website of the Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia. The analysis in this study uses the Chow Test and Error Correction Model with the Engle-Granger method and also multiple linear regression with the OLS method assisted by the Eviews 9 data processing software. The results of the Chow test show that the regression model is differentiated according to the period; before and after the pandemic. The results of the OLS test before the pandemic, the variable value of e-money transactions and the money supply affected the inflation rate, while the CPI, exchange rate, and BI rate were not affected. After Covid-19, the analysis results showed that the CPI, exchange rate, and BI Rate had a significant effect on the inflation rate. Meanwhile, the variable value of e-money transactions and the money supply has no effect on inflation rate in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Blunyahrejo Markisa Agrotourism Village, located in Waru Village, Tegalrejo District, Yogyakarta City, has the potential to be developed as a tourist area. The development of this region is focused on strengthening local attractions through community empowerment, utilizing natural potential, as well as promoting tourism and the creative economy. The main programs include skills training for residents, development of superior products from passion fruit, and assistance in diversifying processed passion fruit products. In addition, collaboration with the government, private sector and universities is expected to accelerate infrastructure development and increase human resource capacity. With a participatory and sustainable approach, the Blunyahrejo Markisa Agrotourism Village is expected to become a successful example of thematic village development that supports the local economy while protecting the natural environment.

Abstract

Maro Karya Village-Owned Enterprises was used as an example Village-Owned Enterprises by the Nagekeo Regency Village Community Empowerment Service because of its success in developing businesses in the agricultural production sector. This research aims to find out how to optimize the development strategy for Maro Karya Village-Owned Enterprises, Marapokot Village, Aesesa District, Nagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods and SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis is very helpful in analyzing research to determine the strategy carried out by Maro Karya Village-Owned Enterprises. This data research comes from observations, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. From the results of this research, it was found that the growth and development of the Village-Owned Enterprises in Maro Karya was going well because the strategy carried out was correct so that it could provide optimal results.

Abstract

This service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of farmer groups in handling coffee plant pests and diseases, improve financial governance, improve human resource capabilities in excellent service for visitors to Balerante coffee shops, and improve the number of coffee cultivation equipment and coffee serving equipment. The target audience of the partnership program in this community is a group of coffee farmers in Balerante village, Kemalang District, Klaten Regency. The results of the activity show that farmer groups had knowledge and skills in identifying, handling, and preventing diseases in coffee plants, farmer groups carried out more intensive care of coffee plants, and farmer groups had knowledge and skills in providing excellent service to coffee shop visitors, and farmer groups already had equipment for serving coffee in larger quantities so that it could increase the capacity of the coffee shop in Balerante village.
