Abstract

The country faces significant challenges related to corrupt practices, threatening various aspects of people's lives. Therefore, to overcome this problem, it is essential to instil anti-corruption principles early, especially among students who will become future leaders. This research aims to create a digital multiliteracy-based anti-corruption education model in Pancasila and Citizenship education innovation to improve students' anti-corruption attitudes. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. The research sample consisted of 36 first-semester Physical Education study program students. The results showed that the independent sample t-test result showed a significant influence between the digital multiliteracy-based anti-corruption education program and students' anti-corruption attitudes. Thus, there is an influence between each variable. In addition, this study shows that the digital multiliteracy-based anti-corruption education model successfully improves students' attitudes in fighting corruption. This study recommends integrating this program into various departments and universities to strengthen its impact. In addition, periodic evaluations are also suggested to ensure continued effectiveness.

Abstract

Teacher Professional Education (PPG) students as prospective educators have an important role in instilling national values in students. However, their understanding of the concept of defending the country still needs to be improved. Therefore, this service activity aims to provide education about defending the country to PPG students of Cenderawasih University in order to build their nationalism and patriotism character. The subjects in this activity are all students of the Cenderawasih University Pre-Service PPG Program. The scheme of community service is by going directly to the students to socialize and provide understanding to PPG students regarding National Defense which is the theme of this community service. There was a significant increase in student understanding after participating in this educational activity. Before being given the material, only 40% of students obtained a score above 70 in the pre-test, while after education, as many as 85% of students achieved this score in the post-test. This increase shows that the methods applied in this activity are effective in increasing students' understanding of defending the country. The national defense education provided to PPG students of Cenderawasih University has been proven to be able to increase their understanding of the importance of nationalism and patriotism. For the next service, it is recommended to have a more interactive approach and a wider range of participants so that the impact is more optimal

Abstract

The rapid development of social media as a product of the digital revolution has significantlyinfluenced various aspects of life, including students' attitudes toward tolerance. This study aims to analyzethe impact of social media usage on the tolerance attitudes of second-semester Civic Education (PPKN)students at Cenderawasih University, using a correlational quantitative approach. Data were collectedthrough closed questionnaires distributed to 41 respondents and analyzed using Pearson’s correlation andsimple linear regression tests with SPSS 25.0.The results revealed a significant positive relationship between the intensity of social media use andtolerance attitudes (r = 0.711, p < 0.001), with social media contributing 50.5% to tolerance formation. Thedominant platforms used were TikTok (46.3%) and Instagram (34.1%), which served as effective mediumsfor multicultural learning through creative content. However, 65% of respondents reported exposure todiscriminatory content, while only 40% actively sought content related to cultural diversity. These findingssuggest that social media has a dual role—enhancing tolerance through positive interactions whilepotentially diminishing it through exposure to harmful content.This study recommends integrating digital literacy into the Civic Education curriculum andoptimizing social media platforms to promote inclusive values. The implications highlight the need for data-driven strategies to maximize social media’s positive impact while mitigating its risks in fostering toleranceamong students in multicultural environments such as Papua.Keywords: Social media, tolerance, Civic Education students, Cenderawasih University.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan model konseptual manajemen warganegara sebagai pendekatan baru dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan guna menjawab tantangan zaman. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif dengan desain mixed research, penelitian ini menggabungkan penelitian konseptual (conceptual research) melalui sintesis literatur ilmiah dan dokumen kebijakan, serta penelitian lapangan (field research) melalui wawancara, dan observasi terhadap mahasiswa di Kota Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen warganegara merupakan konstruksi sistematis, strategis dan baru yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kebangsaan, prinsip good and clean governance, good and smart citizens, serta pendekatan pendidikan kewarganegaraan kritis melalui empat pilar utama: tata nilai, tata kelola, tata laku, dan tata sejahtera. Dalam konteks era VUCA, model ini relevan untuk memperkuat ketahanan nilai, kecakapan berpikir kritis-sistemik, refleksi moral, serta literasi digital dan sosial warga negara agar mampu merespons ketidakpastian secara tangguh dan etis. Manajemen warganegara juga memiliki urgensi tinggi di tengah krisis partisipasi, intoleransi, serta disinformasi, misinformasi, dan malinformasi yang semakin meluas. Sebagai temuan lapangan, implementasi manajemen warganegara di kalangan mahasiswa di Kota Makassar telah tampak melalui berbagai aktivitas sosial, advokasi, kolaborasi digital, dan pengabdian masyarakat. Namun, partisipasi ini masih terbatas, belum merata, dan kurang berkelanjutan. Diperlukan penguatan literasi, pembinaan-pendampingan, serta integrasi kelembagaan agar model ini menjadi gerakan strategis dan berdampak dalam membentuk mahasiswa sebagai warga negara aktif di era VUCA. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini perlu diimplementasikan melalui adaptasi kurikulum, penguatan literasi digital, pelibatan warga dalam proses kebijakan, serta pembentukan relasi negara-warga yang partisipatif.
