Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab dua permasalahan utama, yaitu (1) bagaimana kontribusi Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam membina kewarganegaraan digital; (2) urgensi kewarganegaraan digital dalam menjawab problem beragama di ruang digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi kepustakaan atau tinjauan literatur. Proses analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, display data, verifikasi serta penarikan kesimpulan. Dari analisis yang penulis lakukan, ditemukan bahwa (1) Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan memiliki peran penting untuk berkontribusi dalam membentuk warga negara digital yang plural. Kemampuan menguasai kompetensi digital merupakan indikator awal yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap warga digital. Kompetensi digital tersebut yaitu baik dan cerdas, plural, literat, kritis, partisipatif, serta beretika. (2) Pada dasarnya praktek beragama dan ruang digital merupakan dua hal yang berbeda, namun di abad-21 keduanya terhubung dan saling kaitmengait. Interaksi antara keduanya selain membawa impresi positif juga memiliki residu, seperti ujaran kebencian berbasis agama di ruang digital. Di sinilah digital citizens menemukan urgensi dan relevansinya.

Abstract

This article focuses on the problem that the role of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) in the dynamics of democracy in Indonesia is experiencing an imbalance in its relationship with the government and other people's representative institutions such as the People's Representative Council (DPR). The research methods used include literature studies, conceptual analysis, case studies, and document analysis. With a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, this research aims to understand the role that the DPD should play in the dynamics of Indonesian democracy. The research results show that the practice of democracy in Indonesia has experienced ups and downs from tyranny to anarchy, and vice versa, namely conditions that are not ideal and unbalanced (disequilibrium). To achieve true democracy, efforts are needed to create a new balance between the government and people's representative institutions, by giving power to the DPD in the legislative process, as well as giving the DPD the authority to nominate candidates for President and Vice President.

Abstract

The Community Service (PKM) activity aimed to enhance the understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts for PT. Citra Prima Media, a provider of internet and TV services. ERP is an integrated system designed to improve operational efficiency and real-time data-driven decision-making. The method involved workshops, pre-tests, and post-tests to evaluate participants’ comprehension of ERP benefits in three key areas: financial management, marketing, and human resources (HR). The results showed significant improvements in participants’ understanding, with an average post-test score of 93%. Participants recognized ERP's role in operational efficiency, customer analytics, and data-driven HR management. Based on these findings, PT. Citra Prima Media plans to evaluate ERP adoption for a phased digital transformation. This initiative highlights the importance of ERP in supporting companies' competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

The most concerning social problem today is anomalous behavior and the erosion of collective collegial values. Therefore, character development, especially related to collective values such as mutual cooperation, has become an important issue in Indonesia. This research aims to provide a comprehensive description of the history and character entities that are characteristic of the Bajo Tribe community in Wanci Island, Wakatobi Regency. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to obtain objective data through three data collection techniques: interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that the migration of the Bajo tribe to the Mola region on Wanci Island began in the 1960s as a means of avoiding social conflict and accusations of involvement with the DI/TII rebellion movement on Kaledupa Island. The character of mutual cooperation upheld by the Bajo Mola community reflects a fair and inclusive social system, where the practice of mutual aid is manifested regardless of social status, age, or individual background. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the need to maintain mutual cooperation as a pillar of solidarity and social harmony in order to embody virtuous people.

Abstract

The ever-changing and complex dynamics of societal life give rise to various forms of social issues. One of the common consequences is the loss of empathy, leading individuals to harm or even take the lives of others. This highlights the need to foster empathy in a society constantly facing diverse challenges. One way to achieve this is through civic engagement in social programs implemented by social organizations. Such involvement can reveal various forms of empathetic behavior expressed by the community during the implementation of these programs. This study aims to provide an overview of the forms of empathy behavior reflected in the community through the social program of the Gerak Bareng organization. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results showed that the forms of empathic behavior that are manifested in the community through citizen involvement in Gerak Bareng's social programs include compassion, giving and sharing, and cooperation. The role of Gerak Bareng in fostering community empathy is demonstrated through civic engagement in Gerak Bareng's social programs with the formation of empathetic behaviors within the community such as compassion, mutual giving, sharing, and collaboration.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the integration of digital literacy and financial literacy into the Pancasila education course can foster students' digital-financial intelligence in addressing the negative impacts of online gambling. Employing a phenomenological approach, the research delves into students' lived experiences related to online gambling addiction. The findings reveal several key points: (1) students’ encounters with online gambling are significantly influenced by a lack of financial literacy, digital literacy, and moral resilience; (2) both digital and financial literacy play crucial roles in mitigating this issue by cultivating digital-financial intelligence; (3) the integration of digital and financial literacy into Pancasila education has proven effective in shaping students’ digital-financial awareness and guiding them to recognize the dangers of online gambling, manage their finances wisely, and behave ethically in alignment with Pancasila values; (4) furthermore, the development of a more practical and contextually relevant curriculum is vital for sustainably addressing this issue; and (5) the study strongly recommends a deeper integration of digital and financial literacy within the Pancasila education curriculum, along with the inclusion of materials that are relevant to the current digital social phenomena faced by students. Through this approach, students will be better equipped to navigate the digital world with wisdom, responsibility, and ethical awareness.

Abstract

This research departs from the urgency of education as a preventive tool to instill integrity values from an early age, amid the rampant corruption practices that are rooted in the social life of Indonesian society. The research aims to describe the integration of anti-corruption education in Pancasila and Civics Education (PPKn) learning, analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process, and identify the impact on students at SMPN 12 Makassar. The approach used is qualitative with descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that anti-corruption values were integrated through active learning approaches such as discussions, case studies, and value-based projects, as well as through the example of educators. Supporting factors for this integration include educators' commitment, principal support, and flexibility in curriculum development. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced include limited learning time and lack of special training for teachers. The impact of this integration can be seen from changes in students' behavior, such as increased honesty, sense of responsibility, discipline, and courage to voice injustice in the school environment. The findings confirm that anti-corruption education integrated in Civics learning contributes significantly to shaping learners' character with integrity, if implemented consistently and collaboratively.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas monitoring dan evaluasi (monev) pelaksanaan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) di Kabupaten Wajo, serta mendorong sinergi antara pemerintah daerah, pelaku usaha, dan organisasi non-pemerintah (NGO). Pendekatan partisipatif digunakan untuk melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan dalam pelatihan dan workshop interaktif yang mengangkat penggunaan Logical Framework dan Balanced Scorecard sebagai alat monev strategik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta mengenai peran kelembagaan mereka dalam pencapaian SDGs serta lahirnya komitmen bersama untuk membentuk forum koordinasi multipihak. Kegiatan ini juga menghasilkan modul pelatihan dan template monitoring yang diintegrasikan ke dalam proses perencanaan pembangunan daerah. Inisiatif ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat tata kelola pembangunan yang berkelanjutan, terukur, dan inklusif di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian yang meliputi launching dan talkshow Scholars Corner sebagai kelompok belajar bertujuan untuk membina dan memfasilitasi mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan prestasi mereka, khususnya di Program Studi Manajemen, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Scholars Corner diharapkan dapat memotivasi mahasiswa untuk lebih aktif berpartisipasi dalam kompetisi dan menciptakan ekosistem akademik yang kompetitif serta kolaboratif antara mahasiswa dan dosen. Kegiatan ini dimulai dengan diskusi bersama HIMA Manajemen, pengumpulan data minat mahasiswa, sosialisasi program, pelaksanaan talkshow, dan diakhiri dengan launching Scholars Corner. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 449 peserta secara daring pada 23 Oktober 2024.  Kegiatan ini memberikan pemahaman kepada dosen tentang strategi pembimbingan prestasi nasional dan penyusunan proposal kompetitif, sementara mahasiswa belajar manajemen waktu, disiplin diri, dan pentingnya kolaborasi untuk menghasilkan karya berkualitas. Selain itu, kegiatan ini telah menginisiasi terbentuknya kelompok belajar mahasiswa yang didampingi dosen.

Abstract

Pendidikan wawasan kebangsaan memiliki peranan penting dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda yang berintegritas, cinta tanah air, dan memiliki kesadaran berbangsa dan bernegara. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas X Sekolah Islam Athirah Makassar terhadap wawasan kebangsaan melalui metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Kegiatan ini melibatkan 120 Siswa dan Berlangsung selama 1 Hari.  FGD dipilih sebagai pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yang memungkinkan interaksi aktif, diskusi terbuka, serta refleksi terhadap nilai-nilai kebangsaan seperti persatuan, toleransi, tanggung sosial, dan cinta tanah air. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa setelah mengikuti program ini, siswa mengalami peningkatan pemahaman mengenai implementasi nilai-nilai kebangsaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain  itu, kesadaran mereka terhadap pengaruh media sosial juga meningkat, sehingga mereka lebih kritis dalam menyaring informasi yang dapat memengaruhi sikap kebangsaan mereka. Melalui sesi Refleksi, siswa menyatakan bahwa mereka lebih memahami pentingnya kebhinnekaan serta memiliki kesadaran lebih tinggi untuk menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa.
