Abstract

Communication patterns within organizations greatly affect the motivation for employees' work. The research aims to identify and analyze the communication patterns used on nadhif engineering's CV and the effects on employee job motivation. The background of the problem emerged from the observation that employee's work motivation in the company was still low, although companies have implemented various performance improvement programs. The method used is a qualitative approach, with deep interviews and participative observations of employees of various stages. Studies have shown that open, transparent, and participative communication contributes significantly to increased job motivation. Employees feel more appreciated and involved when they are given the opportunity to communicate ideas and feedback. Additionally, management's support in the form of awards and recognition for the contributions of employees has also proven to increase work morale. The study concluded that effective pattern of communication management could be a key strategy in boozing employee job motivation on nadhif engineering, which in turn would contribute to an overall increase in company productivity

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of organizational communication in improving employee performance in the Corporate and Government Division of Trans TV. The main problem discussed in this research is how the form of internal communication applied by the division and the role of communication in encouraging employee performance. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through a case study method, this research used in-depth interviews with a number of employees and secondary data analysis. The results show that organizational communication consisting of vertical, horizontal, and diagonal communication has been implemented by Trans TV's Corporate and Government Division. The vertical communication applied uses The Equalitarian Style approach. Horizontal communication that is applied plays a role in facilitating coordination between coworkers, supported by strategic workspaces, while diagonal communication accelerates cross-division decision making. This form of communication creates a comfortable work environment, strengthens relationships, and encourages employee performance and can reduce conflict, increase a sense of community, and maintain employee motivation. It can be concluded that organizational communication in the Corporate and Government Division of Trans TV plays a role in encouraging employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji proses adaptasi komunikasi antar budaya yang dialami oleh mahasiswa internasional di IPB University yang menghadapi culture shock dalam berbagai aspek, seperti transportasi, makanan, bahasa, dan norma berpakaian. Metode kualitatif diterapkan untuk menggali pengalaman pribadi mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan dari budaya baru. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa internasional mengalami berbagai tahap culture shock, termasuk frustrasi dan penyesuaian, sesuai dengan teori adaptasi budaya. Beberapa strategi adaptasi yang diterapkan meliputi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, memasak makanan sendiri, serta memahami norma sosial dan agama yang berlaku di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya dukungan sosial dan institusional dalam membantu mahasiswa mengatasi hambatan-hambatan dalam proses adaptasi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengelola institusi pendidikan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang inklusif dan mendukung keberagaman serta mempermudah proses integrasi lintas budaya. Pada penelitian ini juga dapat berfungsi sebagai panduan bagi mahasiswa internasional dalam menghadapi tantangan-tantangan adaptasi di lingkungan baru.
