Abstract

The implementation of Community Service Program (KKN) in Pagur Village, Panyabungan District, focuses on the Tajhizul Mayyit (Corpse Management) program as a form of community service in the religious field. The main problem faced by the community is the limited knowledge and practical skills in performing fardu kifayah, especially regarding the procedures for managing a corpse according to Islamic sharia. This has the potential to cause difficulties when a death occurs, especially for families who lack a proper understanding of the correct Tajhizul Mayyit procedures. This activity aims to enhance community understanding of fardu kifayah obligations, provide systematic knowledge, and train practical skills in managing corpses, from washing, shrouding, praying, to burying. The methods used in this activity include outreach, deliberation, direct practice, and simulations with the community. Through this method, participants not only understand the theory but are also able to practice it directly. The results of the activity show a significant increase in the understanding and skills of the Pagur Village community. This is evident from the community's enthusiasm in participating in simulations, as well as their ability to perform the Tajhizul Mayyit stages correctly according to procedures. In addition, this activity also fosters a sense of togetherness, social care, and community readiness to help each other in fulfilling fardu kifayah obligations in their environment. Thus, the implementation of the Tajhizul Mayyit program during this KKN activity has made a real contribution to increasing the religious capacity of the community, as well as supporting the realization of a self-reliant, caring, and empowered community in implementing Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Background: WHO states the muskuloskeletal disorders disrupt the lives of hundreds of millions of individuals. The structure and biomechanics of the foot are greatly influenced by the arch of the foot. Abnormalities in the lower extremities often occur in children. Flat foot and cavus foot are disorders in the development of the arch of the foot. This condition can cause various problems, such as difficulty walking, impaired balance, easy fatigue when walking, frequent injuries, and excessive pain in the foot area.  Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between the arch of the foot and walking balance in children aged 10-12 years at SDN 017 Candirejo Air Molek 2024. Research method This study applies a cross sectional approach design , namely , research to study the correlation between relationships with an observation approach and data collection at the same time. Results and discussion: The research results show that the variables related to the pedis arch (p-value = 0.000), walking balance (p-value = 0.000).Conslusion: Based on the research conducted that there is a relationship between the arch of the pedis and walking balance in children aged 10-12 years at SDN 017 Candirejo Air Molek 2024.

Abstract

Although music arts learning has received attention in several previous studies, research specifically discussing rhythm learning in elementary schools remains limited, particularly regarding the implementation of learning and teachers’ needs in teaching rhythm material. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of music arts learning on rhythm material in elementary schools. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation studies, with the research subjects consisting of classroom teachers who were directly involved in SBdP learning, particularly music arts material. The results showed that music arts learning had not been implemented optimally, especially in the teaching of rhythm. Teachers had not explicitly taught rhythm concepts, such as beat patterns, tempo, and rhythmic patterns. In addition, several obstacles were found, including teachers’ limited understanding of rhythm and the unavailability of a systematic rhythm teaching module. These findings are in line with social constructivist theory and Howard Gardner’s theory of musical intelligence, which emphasize the importance of active and meaningful musical experiences in the learning process. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the need to develop a rhythm teaching module that is aligned with the characteristics of elementary school students and teachers’ needs in music arts learning. The implications of this study include enriching studies on music learning in elementary schools and recommending the development of more innovative and contextual rhythm learning tools. This study also opens opportunities for further research on the implementation and effectiveness of rhythm teaching modules in elementary schools.
