Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas integrasi teknologi Artificial Intelligence AI dan IoT dalam meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas 12 pada pembelajaran teknologi digital di era Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi-eksperimen dengan pendekatan PjBL yang diterapkan di tiga sekolah di NTT, yaitu SMA Negeri 1 Wolowaru, SMA Negeri 1 Maumere, dan SMAN Buyasari. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen kuesioner skala Likert untuk mengukur minat dan motivasi siswa sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi AI dan IoT secara signifikan meningkatkan keterlibatan dan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam mempelajari materi teknologi digital, dengan SMA Negeri 1 Wolowaru mencatat performa tertinggi di antara ketiga sekolah. Peningkatan ini diindikasikan oleh peningkatan nilai rata-rata pada indikator minat dan motivasi, serta distribusi nilai yang lebih merata pada rentang tinggi. Penelitian ini menawarkan solusi baru dalam pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang relevan dengan dunia nyata, berbeda dari metode konvensional yang sering kurang menarik bagi siswa. Kesimpulannya, penerapan AI dan IoT dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi siswa, tetapi penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk memperluas cakupan studi dan mengatasi keterbatasan seperti variasi infrastruktur dan pelatihan guru. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan teknologi di Indonesia dan relevansi pembelajaran dengan tantangan di era digital.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka menuntut peserta didik untuk berperan aktif, kreatif dan inovatif dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sebuah bahan ajar interaktif yang dapat membantu peserta didik dalam memahami konsep materi pembelajaran terutama pada pelajaran IPA. E-Modul merupakan salah satu media interaktif yang dapat membantu peserta didik dalam belajar secara mandiri, memahami materi, serta meningkatkan minat peserta didik. Pada penelitian ini bahan ajar yang dikembangkan berupa E-Modul interaktif sebagai bahan ajar peserta didik kelas IX dengan berbantuan PhET Simulation untuk memudahkan peserta didik dalam melakukan percobaan secara visual. Pengembangan E-Modul ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi canva dan heyzeline. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan dari pengembangan E-Modul interaktif berbantuan PhET pada materi listrik dinamis kelas IX. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan uji validasi produk. Uji validasi bahan ajar E-Modul menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli instrument, dan juga produk pengembangan E-Modul divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Tingkat kelayakan E-Modul interaktif berbantuan PhET pada materi listrik dinamis  ini mendapatkan nilai menurut ahli materi yaitu 91% dengan kategori “sangat layak”, dan  ahli media mendapatkan nilai persentase sebesar 86% dengan kategori “sangat layak”.

Abstract

Online learning has emerged as a dominant trend since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to significant changes in the educational landscape. Numerous studies have examined using learning management systems (LMS) in educational settings. However, few have addressed the urgency of implementing LMS and the specific challenges coastal schools face. To explore these challenges, the researcher conducted a qualitative, descriptive study to analyze the use of LMS, focusing on a case study of high schools in Sikka Regency. The study involved nine schools, namely SMAN Pemana, MAS Nurwahid Gunung Sari, MAS Muhammadiyah Nangahure, MAS At-Taqwa Beru, SMA Muhammadiyah Maumere, SMAN Magepanda, SMA 1 Talibura, SMKN Talibura, and SMAN 1 Waigete. Data were collected through interviews with nine physics teachers. The research data were then analyzed using NVivo software to obtain quantitative percentages. The findings indicated that all participating schools utilized LMS, with the majority adopting Google Classroom. However, the most significant challenge identified was internet connectivity, with over 50% of the schools acknowledging this issue. Additionally, many students lacked smartphone access, particularly at MAS Muhammadiyah Nangahure, where nearly 2% of students did not own a smartphone, compared to approximately 5% at similar schools. Other challenges included the lack of internet data and limited understanding of technology among students. The most common concern reported by schools was the inflexibility of LMS platforms, particularly concerning their dependence on internet connectivity. For instance, SMAN Pemana noted a 4.8% incidence of issues related to the LMS they were using. Given these obstacles, many schools have turned to alternative solutions to support online learning, such as WhatsApp Groups, which 80% of the schools employ.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia, particularly in eastern regions, faces significant challenges in preparing students to meet the demands of the 21st century. Conventional teaching methods often fail to effectively enhance science process skills, which are critical in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a STEM Education approach combined with inquiry-based learning and the contextualization of local wisdom in improving students' science process skills. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were students from four schools in Lembata Regency, namely SMA N Lebatukan, SMA N 1 Nubatukan, SMA N 2 Nubatukan, and MAN Lembata, East Nusa Tenggara, selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using t-tests to evaluate significant differences between the two groups and effect size analysis to measure the impact of the treatment. The results showed a significant improvement in science process skills in the experimental group compared to the control group (p < 0.0001). The highest average score was achieved by SMA N Lebatukan (59.46), while MAN Lembata recorded the lowest average score (50.9). These findings confirm that integrating STEM, inquiry, and local wisdom effectively enhances scientific skills and the relevance of learning for students.
