Abstract

Physical systems in partial differential equations can be interpreted in a visual form using a wave simulation. In particular, the interpretation of the differential equations used is in the nonlinear hyperbolic model, but in its completion, there are some limitations to the stability requirements found. The aim of this study is to investigate the analytical and numerical analysis of a wave equation with a similar unit and fractal intervals using the Fourier coefficient. The method in this research is to use the analytical solution approach, the spectral method, and the finite difference method. The hyperbolic wave equation's analytical solution approach, illustrated in the Fourier analysis, uses a pulse triangle. The spectral method minimizes errors when there is the addition of the same sample grid points or the periodic domain's expansion with a trigonometric basis. Meanwhile, different ways offer a more efficient solution. Based on the research results, the information obtained is that the Fourier analysis illustrates the pulse triangle use to solve the solution. These results are also suitable for adding sample points to the same spectra. Fourier analysis requires a relatively long time to solve one pulse triangle graph to need another solution, namely the finite difference method. However, its use is still limited in terms of stability when faced with more complex problems.

Abstract

Not all physics concepts must be understood and mastered by deriving formulas through differential or integral techniques. Mechanics, for example, can be understood with simple logic without formulas, variables, and numbers. The fun method, or known as the GASING method, is a science learning method that has been offered by Yohanes Surya since 1996. This method offers fun learning activities for students. This research is a literature review of several books and research articles related to learning physics science using top methods. It turns out that with the spinning method, the concepts of velocity and acceleration in straight motion material can be understood easily and can solve some physics problems about straight motion without complicated physics formulas. All these physics problems are solved by simple logic and expressed in words.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the shape of the surface of tsunami waves using the finite difference method and the effect of the damping function on the simulation of tsunami wave propagation using Matlab-based visualisation. The effect of attenuation on the propagation of tsunami waves is measured by the variation in energy. The results of the investigation indicate that tsunami waves have a transverse wave form, with waves propagating in a perpendicular direction. In the meantime, the analysis of the damping function reveals a decrease in the value of energy; this indicates that if the damping function is provided, it will have the effect of reducing the wave energy and propagation speed of tsunami waves. This modelling clearly and realistically illustrates the results of wave movement visualisation and provides insight for disaster mitigation and coastal protection.

Abstract

With the increasing presence of digital communication, the distinction between virtual relationships and real-life interactions has become more blurred. The psychological effects of online relationships, especially in terms of emotional development and mental health, have garnered growing attention. This article explores the concept of virtual relationships and how they influence real emotions, drawing on existing literature to provide a comprehensive understanding of the topic. Using a conceptual framework, this study examines the complexities of virtual interactions and their psychological impact on individuals, particularly focusing on emotional authenticity, attachment, and social well-being. The methodological approach for this article is qualitative research. The primary research tool was a comprehensive literature review, focusing on psychological studies of virtual relationships, emotional development, and online communication patterns. The findings suggest that while virtual relationships may serve as meaningful substitutes, they are not a replacement for genuine human connections. Additionally, they may lead to emotional distress and distorted perceptions of intimacy, especially when they fail to fulfill essential emotional needs.

Abstract

The rise of digital communication has given birth to a disturbing trend: cyberbullying. Unlike traditional bullying, cyberbullying occurs in a persistent, borderless, and often anonymous online environment, magnifying its psychological impact. This article presents an opinion-based psychological analysis of how cyberbullying contributes to emotional distress, especially among adolescents and young adults. Drawing on key psychological theories such as the General Aggression Model (GAM) and the Stress-Coping Framework, the article explores the complex interplay between online aggression and mental health. A conceptual model is introduced to demonstrate the link between online behavior and emotional consequences. Data from existing literature are synthesized into thematic tables to highlight key trends and coping strategies. The findings emphasize the urgent need for proactive psychological interventions, digital literacy education, and supportive online communities.
