Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 memiliki dampak psikologis stres bagi remaja yang memengaruhi subjective well-being. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara keberfungsian keluarga dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya terhadap subjective well-being remaja yang mengalami stres di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa survei. Sebanyak 212 partisipan remaja berusia 14-21 tahun yang diperoleh melalui metode purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang negatif antara keberfungsian keluarga dengan subjective well-being (r=0,151, p=0,028), terdapat hubungan yang positif antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan subjective well-being (r=0,285, p=0,001), dan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara keberfungsian keluarga dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan subjective well-being p=0,000 atau p<0,05 dan F=9,456 >F tabel 3,04. Penelitian ini menambahkan variansi baru bahwa keberfungsian keluarga dan dukungan sosial teman sebaya secara bersama-sama mampu memprediksi subjective well-being sebesar 8,3%.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of effective communication in nursing, especially the use of simple language in patient education. Effective communication, using language that is easy to understand, increases patient satisfaction, reduces anxiety, and increases adherence to treatment. Literature studies show that clear and empathetic communication reduces the risk of medical errors, increases patient participation in care decision making, and results in better care outcomes. This article suggests effective communication strategies such as active listening and the use of visual aids to achieve optimal results. In conclusion, effective communication using simple language is the key to quality and holistic patient care.

Abstract

Pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr) is a fruit that is always available throughout the year and makes this fruit a superior agricultural commodity in Indonesia. But, pineapples are easily damaged and decay quickly. An alternative to inhibit the damage process by processing it into pineapple syrup. This study’s aim was to determine the effect of adding white sweet potato extract to the characteristics of pineapple syrup. This research was conducted using an experimental method consisting of 1 factor, namely without variation of white sweet potato as a control (0%), 10%, 20%, 30% and 40%, so that it got 5 treatments with 2 repetitions. The research started by making white sweet potato extract, making pineapple syrup, testing vitamin C, total sugar content, viscosity and organoleptic testing. The research was conducted in accordance with SNI 3544-2013 about syrup. The results showed that the organoleptic test of pineapple syrup obtained an assessment of the taste parameters on NU1 of 3,2 (like) and on the aroma is treatment NU3 of 3,0 (like), and color on NU2 of 3,10 (like). The best results were obtained from pineapple syrup with treatment at a concentration of 10% white sweet potato extract with the observed parameters: vitamin C of 0,35%, viscosity of 31,53 cP and total sugar content of 6,4%.

Abstract

Learning Evaluation is an important instrument to measure the success, growth, and development of students. This research is motivated by the low communication skills of students in Biology learning at SMA Negeri 17 Palembang. Activities are still dominated by one-way interactions so that students have difficulty conveying ideas and collaborating. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model on the Immune System material to improve the communication skills of grade XI students. The research method used in this study is an evaluative research method with a quantitative descriptive approach using the CIPP Model, namely Context, Input, Process, Product. The population in this study were all grade XI students at SMA Negeri 17 Palembang, who took the Biology subject in the Even Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The research sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique, totaling 65 people. The main instrument used in data collection in this evaluation study was the CIPP evaluation questionnaire, which was compiled based on the Stufflebeam model using a Likert scale consisting of statements addressed to respondents with a response scale represented by 5 for very good, 4 for good, 3 for sufficient, 2 for less, and 1 for very less. The results of the study showed that the program implementation was running very well in all aspects. In detail, the Context aspect obtained a score of 91.15%, the Input aspect achieved 84.87%, the Process aspect reached 87.18%, and the Product aspect reached 86.92%, which proved a significant increase in students' communication skills. Thus, the Jigsaw method is an efficient and comprehensive interactive method for achieving curriculum objectives as well as interpersonal skills groups. Recommendations for further research include testing the method's consistency on materials with varying complexity, integrating digital technology variables (blended learning), and long-term observation of students' communication skills retention. Abstrak. Evaluasi Pembelajaran adalah instrumen penting untuk mengukur keberhasilan, pertumbuhan, dan perkembangan peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berkomunikasi murid dalam pembelajaran Biologi di SMA Negeri 17 Palembang. Kegiatan masih didominasi interaksi satu arah sehingga murid kesulitan menyampaikan gagasan dan berkolaborasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw pada materi Sistem Imumitas untuk menigkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi murid kelas XI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian evaluatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan Model CIPP yakni Context, Input, Process, Product. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh murid Kelas XI di SMA Negeri 17 Palembang  yang mengikuti mata pelajaran Biologi pada Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Sampel penelitian ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu berjumlah 65 orang. Instrumen utama yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data dalam penelitian evaluasi ini adalah angket evaluasi CIPP yang disusun berdasarkan model Stufflebeam dengan menggunakan skala Likert yang terdiri dari pernyataan – pernyataan yang ditujukan pada responden dengan skala jawaban yang diwakili angka 5 untuk sangat baik, angka 4 untuk baik, angka 3 untuk cukup, dan angka 2 untuk kurang dan angka 1 untuk sangat kurang, sehingga hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran bahwa pelaksanaan program berjalan dengan sangat baik dalam seluruh aspek. Secara rinci, aspek Context memperoleh skor 91,15%, aspek Input meraih 84,87%, aspek Process mencapai 87,18%, dan aspek Product mencapai 86,92% yang membuktikan peningkatan kemampuan berkomunikasi murid secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, metode Jigsaw merupakan salah satu metode yang efisien dan menyeluruh untuk mencapai tujuan kurikulum sekaligus kelompok keterampilan interpersonal. Rekomendasi penelitian selanjutnya mencakup pengujian konsistensi metode pada materi dengan kompleksitas berbeda, integrasi variabel teknologi digital (blended learning), serta pengamatan jangka panjang terhadap retensi keterampilan komunikasi murid.
