Abstract

Educational technology plays an important role in increasing access to information, promoting health awareness, and supporting interactive community learning on health issues. The multimodal psychoeducation approach allows the delivery of information through various channels (audio, visual, digital text), which can increase information absorption and emotional engagement. Maternal mental health is a crucial aspect that affects the well-being of both the mother and the fetus during pregnancy. This study aims to evaluate the impact of using multimodal psychoeducational media, specifically hypnocomfort pregnancy, to enhance maternal mental health knowledge in managing anxiety during pregnancy. The research employs a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test with a control group design. The sample consists of 20 pregnant women. The intervention group receives training using hypnocomfort pregnancy multimodal psychoeducational media. The results indicate that the intervention group experienced a higher maternal mental health knowledge increase than the control group. The T-test results show a significant P-value (0.000), indicating that the use of hypnocomfort pregnancy multimodal psychoeducational media has a significant effect on improving maternal mental health knowledge. It can be concluded that the development and application of hypnocomfort pregnancy multimodal psychoeducational media is effective in enhancing maternal mental health knowledge. This study supports the use of multimodal media in maternal mental health care and recommends integrating similar methods into pregnancy support programs. In addition, broader contributions include the development of psychoeducational methods that can be implemented in health education with the potential to improve the knowledge and management of community mental education.

Abstract

The elderly face complex and interrelated health challenges, including anxiety, sleep disturbances, and decreased quality of life, which can affect their physical and psychological well-being. In nursing, screening using valid and reliable questionnaires can help nurses identify mental health problems early, prevent complications, and provide appropriate interventions. Therefore, assessment scales such as the Elderly Anxiety Questionnaire (EAQ), Elderly Sleep Quality Questionnaire (ESQQ), and Elderly Quality of Life Questionnaire (EQLQ) were developed to assess anxiety, sleep quality, and quality of life in the elderly according to current conditions and needs. This study aims to develop and validate the EAQ, ESQQ, and EQLQ as initial screening tools for clinical and community practice nurses. The method used a qualitative approach; questionnaires were distributed to 60 elderly participants selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, followed by statistical validity and reliability tests. The results showed that the r-count value for the three questionnaires was more significant than the r-table (0.254), indicating good item validity. The reliability test using Cronbach's alpha also showed that the three questionnaires had high reliability. In conclusion, EAQ, ESQQ, and EQLQ are practical tools for detecting the mental condition of the elderly and supporting the role of nurses in providing comprehensive care. This study contributes significantly to nursing practice by providing tools for initial screening, data collection, and analysis to improve the quality of care for the elderly. Further research with a larger sample size is recommended to strengthen these findings.

Abstract

Transgender atau transseksual adalah individu yang memiliki identitas gender atau ekspresi gender yang tidak selaras dengan jenis kelamin ketika ia dilahirkan. Individu tersebut memiliki resiko tinggi pada permasalahan psikologis yang disebabkan adanya perbedaan antara jenis kelamin ketika lahir dengan perasaan menjadi pria atau wanita. Beberapa cara mereka upayakan untuk dapat menyelaraskan penampilan, jenis kelamin, dan identitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran Psychological Well-being pada Transsexual Male-to-Female. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan metode wawancara mendalam. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga (3) wanita transpuan yang sudah melakukan operasi perubahan kelamin dan identitasnya, serta secara terbuka telah mendeklarasikan status identitas seksual kepada keluarganya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subyek memiliki profil Psychological Well-being yang baik, Subyek 2 dan 3 memiliki ke-6 dimensi PWB. Sedangkan Subyek 1 kurang optimal pada dimensi tujuan hidup dan pengembangan diri. Hal ini subyek cenderung puas dengan kondisi saat ini dan merasa sudah berumur untuk memulai sesuatu yang baru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan pola asuh authoritative dan pengaruh teman sebaya melalui kontrol diri dengan perilaku seksual pranikah remaja di sma x kota semarang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel snowball sampling. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 50 responden di Sma Teuku Umar Semarang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan ada hubungan pola asuh authoritative dengan perilaku seksual pranikah remaja dengan hasil p-value 0.014 0,05. Bahwa ada hubungan pengaruh teman sebaya dengan perilaku seksual pranikah remaja dengan hasil p-value 0.018 0,05. Ada hubungan kontrol diri dengan perilaku seksual pranikah remaja dengan hasil p-value 0.004 0,05. Ada hubungan pola asuh authoritative dengan kontrol diri dengan hasil p-value 0.003 0,05. Ada hubungan pengaruh teman sebaya dengan kontrol diri dengan hasil p-value 0.000 0,05. ada hubungan pola asuh authoritative dengan perilaku seksual pranikah remaja melalui kontrol diri dengan hasil p-value 0.044 0,05. ada hubungan pengaruh teman sebaya dengan perilaku seksual pranikah remaja melalui kontrol diri. Dengan hasil p-value 0.023 0,05.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan pemantapan tentang Tumbuh Kembang Anak pada Kader Posyandu Kelurahan Sendangmulyo. Selain memberi pemahaman kepada para Kader Posyandu juga memberikan tambahan pengetahuan secara teoritik terkait kader Posyandu, Keluarga kecil, dan Tumbuh Kembang anak. Masalah yang sering muncul adalah peran orang tua ikut serta dalam mendidik dan membesarkan anak, tanpa memperhatikan kemampuan fisik dan psikologis balita. Dengan adanya pemantapan ini, kader posyandu memiliki bekal untuk menambah wawasan mereka dalam berinteraksi dan mendampingi ibu2 muda tersebut terkait tumbuh kembang anak. Peserta pemantapan berjumlah 52 peserta yang terdiri dari para kader Posyandu dan PKB. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dengan evaluasi pelaksanaan dilakukan di akhir acara secara kualitatif mengingat tugas masing-masing kader adalah berbeda. Dengan demikian hasil yang didapat adalah mereka sangat antusias dan benar-benar mendapatkan ilmu tambahan terkait materi di atas. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil pertanyaan yang narasumber berikan dijawab dengan baik oleh mereka. Kata kunci: Pemantapan, tumbuh kembang anak, kader Posyandu

Abstract

Various environmental, organizational, cultural, physical, and psychosocial stressors can arise independently or simultaneously in cadets carrying out sea practices. However, stress is not always interpreted negatively. This research aims to explore cadets' marine practice experiences from a mental health perspective, specifically how cadets interpret their experiences when sailing for the first time and facing the dynamics and complexity of challenges during sea practice. This research uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative method involved distributing questionnaires with open-ended questions to 101 cadets who had just completed their marine practicals. This was followed by qualitative methods, which included in-depth interviews with five cadets who indicated their willingness to be interviewed. The collected data were then analyzed and categorized based on theoretical studies and presented in tables or diagrams accompanied by a narrative. The research found that cadets view the ship's environment as a new and challenging one. The main problem faced by cadets is adjusting to this new environment. In this adjustment process, cadets must manage their time well to balance personal needs with the need to study or work. Maintaining a harmonious relationship between mind and body, as well as connecting with their experiences, indicates a healthy mental condition. The results of the research indicate that cadets' ability to view stressful situations as challenges, involving commitment and self-control along with social support, can lead to positive attachment. This attachment is meaningful for the job satisfaction cadets experience in carrying out sea practices.
