Abstract

This research aims to reveal the extent of the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in creating a school environment that is free from bullying and fostering an attitude of empathy in students at SMAN 70 Jakarta. This research uses a mix method approach which combines qualitative in the form of interviews with PAI teachers and quantitative in the form of questionnaires to students at SMAN 70 Jakarta. The research results show that PAI teachers have a significant role in creating an inclusive and harmonious learning environment. Religious learning activities that emphasize moral and social values ​​have proven effective in reducing bullying behavior and increasing students' ability to understand and feel the feelings of others.

Abstract

In the midst of the phenomenon of radicalism that threatens diversity and tolerance in Indonesia, Nurcholis Madjid's thoughts on religious moderation have become a concern again. Taking into account the history and development of Islamic thought in Indonesia, this article investigates the idea of religious moderation in Madjid. To determine whether Madjid's ideas are relevant to radicalism, a thorough examination of the theological, philosophical, and sociological foundations of his thinking will be carried out. This article will also look at how the idea of religious moderation can be applied to various aspects of life, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced in an effort to create a more moderate Indonesian society. Radicalism now threatens the life of the nation and state. In this case, the perspective of religious moderation Nurcholis Madjid offers a profitable option. In this article, the concept of religious moderation in Madjid will be discussed thoroughly, with a special emphasis on practical solutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Amien Banyuwangi dalam pengembangan sikap tanggung jawab santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan ustadz sebagai pengurus pesantren dan santri, observasi mengenai kegiatan sehari-hari di pesantren, serta dokumentasi mengenai tata tertib dan program pesantren. Untuk menganalisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Amien Banyuwangi untuk mengembangkan sikap tanggung jawab santri melalui pembiasaan harian yang produktif dan teratur, peran ustadz/ustadzah sebagai teladan yang memberikan contoh langsung, pemberian tanggung jawab kepada santri, serta penerapan tata tertib yang tegas dan terdapat sanksi bagi yang melanggar. Penelitian ini berhasil mengungkap strategi pesantren yang efektif dalam pengembangan sikap tanggung jawab santri yang bisa diterapkan di pendidikan Islam lainnya.

Abstract

Islamic education aims to shape individuals who are faithful, possess noble character, and can make positive contributions to society. Besides transferring knowledge, Islamic education also instills spiritual, social, and intellectual values, in line with the goals of the SDGs, particularly quality and sustainable education. Its implementation involves synergy among schools, pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), and social-religious institutions. Even though it faces challenges such as resource limitations and the influences of globalization, Islamic education has significant opportunities through digital technology and government policy support. By integrating Islamic values into an adaptive and inclusive education system and strengthening collaboration among institutions, Islamic education can become a key pillar in building a civil society with global competitiveness.
