Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 masih melanda hingga saat sekarang dan belum bisa dipastikan kapan akan berakhir. Hal ini memberikan dampak pada semua sektor kehidupan manusia termasuk bidang pendidikan. Sebelumnya Pemerintah sudah menetapkan kebijakan pembelajaran jarak jauh namun di tahun 2021 bulan Juli pembelajaran tatap muka sudah diperbolehkan bagi sekolah yang sudah memenuhi kriteria untuk melakukan proses pembelajaran secara offline. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tingkat kesiapan pelaksanaan pembelajaran tatap muka di PAUD Kasih Ibu Rumbai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan hasil penelitian bahwa lembaga PAUD Kasih Ibu Rumbai layak dilaksanakan pembelajaran tatap muka dengan tingkat kesiapan enam puluh empat persen yang termasuk dalam kriteria Cukup Baik

Abstract

Online learning programs require students to use digital literacy. The question is how does digital literacy affect student learning motivation, then does it also affect students' ability to socialize. The purpose of the study was to describe the level of digital literacy, learning motivation and social skills of FKIP students at Lancang Kuning University. The research methodology used is descriptive analysis with hypothesis testing using regression. The number of samples is 99 students who are drawn by total sampling from all respondents. The results showed that 1) the digital literacy level of students was at a moderate level. 2) low student learning motivation. 3) students' social skills are low. 4) there is a positive influence between digital literacy on the learning motivation of FKIP students. 5) there is a positive influence between digital literacy on the social skills of FKIP students at Lancang Kuning University. The implications of this research are as material for consideration for counselors in providing services to students who have an impact on digital literacy on learning motivation and social skills.

Abstract

Abstract: Factors that can affect the child is the level of happiness of children with the condition of his family. Like the attention of parents, facilities, and so on which children have. The tendency that happens is that children from poor families have a low assessment of the happiness of his life. The level or level of happiness that an individual perceives will be different from other individuals. This is influenced by the things that make the individual happy like a harmonious family, friends or a warm environment, socioeconomic status, and so on. But often a person's happiness is measured only on the basis of basic needs such as clothing, food, and shelter. The purpose of this study is to know and analyze the level of Subjective Well Being of Early Childhood Originating from the Family of Low Social Economy in Pekanbaru City. The research method used is quantitative descriptive by using statistical analysis. Based on the findings of the research, it is found that high well-being subjectif well-being wellbeing rate even from low-income families. Keyword: Subjective well-being, early childhood, poor family  Abstrak: Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi anak adalah tingkat kebahagiaan anak dengan kondisi keluarganya. Seperti perhatian orangtua, fasilitas, dan sebagainya yang anak miliki. Kecenderungan yang terjadi adalah anak yang berasal dari keluarga miskin memiliki penilaian yang rendah terhadap kebahagiaan hidupnya. Tingkatan atau kadar kebahagiaan yang dirasakan individu satu akan berbeda dengan individu lain. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh hal-hal yang menjadikan individu tersebut bahagia seperti keluarga yang harmonis, teman-teman atau lingkungan yang hangat, status sosial ekonomi, dan sebagainya. Namun seringkali kebahagiaan seseorang hanya diukur berdasarkan keterpenuhan kebutuhan dasar saja seperti kebutuhan sandang, pangan, dan papan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis tentang tingkat Subjective well Being Anak Usia dini yang Berasal dari Keluarga Berstatus ekonomi Sosial yang Rendah di Kota Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis statistik. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa tingkat kesejahteraan subjectif well-being anak usia dini tinggi meskipun berasal dari keluarga berstatus ekonomi rendah.  Kata Kunci: Subjective well-being, anak usia dini, keluarga miskin

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak kelompok B TK Ihsan Kids. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas B TK Ihsan Kids. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya mengadopsi teknik sampling populasi. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 28 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data, rata-rata hasil penelitian adalah 2,84% Analisis penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris anak kelompok B TK Ihsan Kids di Pekanbaru berada pada tingkat tinggi. Di antara indikator nilai kosakata bahasa Inggris anak usia dini dapat disimpulkan dari indikator yang nilainya lebih tinggi mencapai tingkat akhir

Abstract

Beyond Academics: The Impact of Universal Design for Learning on the Subjective Well-Being of Children with Special Needs. Equity is another key area in which inclusive education of children with special needs is of interest, aiming to enhance their quality of life, including subjective well-being, a significant aspect of child development. Objectives: This research aims to investigate the impact of the Universal Design for Learning approach on the subjective well-being of children with special needs. The proposed research examines how the subjective well-being of children with special needs is affected by the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strategy. Methods: This study employed a quasi-experimental design. The UDL strategy acts as the independent variable, while subjective well-being is the dependent variable. This study involved a total of 36 children with special needs, of whom 24 were selected using purposive sampling. They were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group, each comprising 12 participants. The data obtained were evaluated using non-parametric and descriptive statistical methods. Findings: The result showed a significant increase in subjective well-being for the children in the experimental group compared to the control group, with a p-value of 0.002 (p < 0.05). Finally, it has been discussed that the application of the Universal Design for Learning approach has a substantial influence on the way children perceive themselves. Conclusions: The application of the UDL approach significantly improves the subjective well-being of children with special needs, demonstrating the importance of integrating UDL into the inclusive education curriculum. These findings encourage the development of more adaptive education policies and psychosocial interventions that support children's social-emotional development. Keywords: children with special needs, educational approach, subjective well-being, treatment effect, universal design for learning

Abstract

Effective teaching strategies in early childhood education are essential for fostering both engagement and learning quality. However, there is a lack of focused research on how interactive methods specifically enhance young learners’ comprehension and participation. This qualitative study employed a descriptive approach to examine teaching strategies used by early childhood educators. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and document analysis to gather comprehensive insights. Findings indicate that educators utilize a range of interactive strategies, including play-based learning, storytelling, singing, field trips, and demonstrations. These approaches not only improve children's understanding of subject matter but also encourage active engagement and enjoyment in the learning process. The study highlights the importance of integrating interactive pedagogies to create a stimulating educational environment. It underscores the practical benefits of these methods in promoting both cognitive and social development in young learners. The research recommends that educators systematically incorporate interactive strategies into their teaching practices. Additionally, policymakers are encouraged to support educational models that prioritize engaging and participatory learning experiences. Future studies should investigate the long-term effects of these strategies on children's developmental outcomes.
