Abstract

This study aims to develop the character of early childhood by using cultural malay-based traditional games. The children's world is synonymous with the playing world so that learning is more easily absorbed by children through play. Traditional games are very important to be introduced so children can find out games that have been around for generations. Children are introduced to traditional games that elevate Malay culture. The Malay culture is a characteristic of the Lancang Kuning earth, so that it became the Riau Vision and Mission in building its territory in reference to Malay Culture. In addition, through Malay culture children are educated in character building. The character of children is shaped according to Malay culture which is full of morality and religion. Child character development is very important to be formed early because character is permanent and inherent in children to adulthood. This study belongs to the category of descriptive research which describes the data relating to the formulation of the problems examined in this study. Data collection used in this study was carried out by total sampling technique. This research uses a Likert scale, namely from the results of observations and interviews. Then, the data analysis technique used is descriptive technique.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether bullying behavior influences children's self-esteem aged 5-6 years in Mutiara Cendekia Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. This research is quantitative using the simple linear regression formula. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The results showed that bullying behavior is significantly related to the children's self-esteem. It also indicated that children aged 5-6 years who play online games have high self-esteem. While the remaining 43.6% is influenced by other factors not examined. These findings should be a concern to parents and teachers to control the use of online games for children.

Abstract

Egocentric thinking is the inability of children to see the perspective of others in seeing problems and prioritizing their own perspectives. Egocentric many appear at an early age. Related to this, this research purpose to analyze the egocentrism of children in cognitive development, in the preoperational stage.This research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. The sample of this research was 30 children aged 4-6 years. The research sample was taken with a total sampling technique. The results of the analysis data showed that the children's egocentrism in cognitive development in the preoperational stage reached 76.33% with a very high category. Each aspect value are imaginative thinking amounted to 72.08%, egocentric language amounted to 82.92%, had a high I amounted to 74.58%, high curiosity amounted to 80.42%, and language development began rapidly amounted to 71, 67%.

Abstract

Early childhood learning process must prioritize children's development can not only be seen from the results. Therefore real experiences and facilities in learning must be interesting and can be digested as well as possible by children in order to get optimal results. The ability to do dance movements is important for children because through dance movements children can express themselves into movements that have meaning that also help the development of children's art and physical motor skills. This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of dance video media in stimulating the development of motor and physical art in kindergarten children.This research is a development research. The research instruments used were observation, questionnaires and interview guides. The data analysis technique used in this study was paired sample t-test. And processing data using Spss 20. The results in this study indicate that: (1) The use of dance video media is appropriate to stimulate the development of art and physical motor skills of a kindergarten child; (2) The use of dance video media is effective in stimulating the art and physical development of kindergarten children

Abstract

Abstrak Kemampuan kognitif ialah kemampuan anak untuk berfikir lebih kompleks serta melakukan penalaran dan pemecahan masalah, berkembangnya kemampuan kognitif ini akan mempermudah anak menguasai pengetahuan umum yang lebih luas, sehingga ia dapat berfungsi secara wajar dalam kehidupan masyarakat sehari-hari. Namun dalam perkembangannya tidak semua anak dapat berkembang sesuai tahapannya. Sehingga perlu dilakukan analisa. Adapun Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisa permasalahan perkembangan kognitif anak usia 4-6 tahun di TK Raisa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar yakni 39% anak usia 4-6 tahun banyak bermasalah pada perkembangan kognitif, selanjutnya 37% anak berada pada kriteria banyak sekali, dan hanya ada 17% anak yang memiliki sedikit sekali permasalahan pada perkembangan kognitif, sedangkan 7% anak lainnya tidak memiliki permasalahan dalam perkembangan kognitif. Sehingga pada usia 0-6 tahun anak dalam masa Golden Age (masa keemasan) harus mendapatkan perhatian yang lebih besar untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan kognitifnya. Kata Kunci: Perkembangan Kognitif, Permasalahan Kognitif, Anak Usia Dini Abstract Cognitive is the ability of children to think more complex and do reasoning and problem solving, the development of cognitive abilities will make it easier for children to master broader general knowledge, so that it can function normally in people's daily lives. However in its development, not all children can develop suit to the stages. So, it needs to be analyzed the problem. This research is a descriptive using a quantitative approach that aims to analyze the cognitive development problems of children aged 4-6 years in TK Raisa Pekanbaru. Based on the results of the research that has been done it can be concluded that 3 most of the children aged 4-6 years, that is 39% have many problems in cognitive development, then 37% of children are on the criteria of a lots, and there are only 17% of children who have very few problems in cognitive development, while 7% of other children do not have problems in cognitive development. So that at the age of 0-6 years, children in the golden age must get greater attention to their growth and cognitive development. Key words: Cognitive Development, Cognitive Problems, Early Childhood

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengembangan berbahasa inggris awal anak usia 5-6 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah angket tertutup. Adapun sampel berjumlah 30 anak usia 5-6 tahun di Paud Duta Raudha Center Pekanbaru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar anak mulai berkembang dalam pengembangan berbahasa inggris awal dengan jumlah persentase 31%, diikuti dengan 30% yang menunjukkan anak berkembang sesuai harapan dan 16,25% berkembang sangat baik dalam berbahasa inggris awal. Namun demikian masih terdapat anak usia 5-6 tahun berjumlah sebanyak 22,75% yang belum berkembang dalam berbahasa inggris awal. Sehingga pada usia 5-6 tahun anak yakni dalam masa Golden Age (masa keemasan) seharusnya mendapatkan stimulasi yang tepat untuk pengembangan berbahasa inggris awal sehingga dapat dioptimalkan.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa inggris awal anak melalui metode total physical response (TPR) di kelas B Al-Rasyid 2. Bahasa inggris awal anak dapat ditingkatkan sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 10 anak. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah metode total physical response, pengumpulan data dimulai dari observasi teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berbahasa inggris awal anak meningkat setelah diberi tindakan yang sesuai dengan metode TPR. Nilai persentase pada pra siklus mencapai 32% dengan kriteria Belum Berkembang (BB), pada siklus 1 nilai persentase sebesar rata-rata mencapai 66% dengan kriteria Mulai Berkembang (MB) dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus 2 sebesar 86% dengan kriteria Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB) sedangkan target keberhasilan penelitian ini adalah 80% dengan demikian kemampuan bahasa inggris awal dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode TPR.Kata Kunci : Bahasa Inggris Awal, Metode Total Physical Response AbstractThis research have a puspose to improve children's early English skills using the total physical response method in class B Al-Rasyid 2. Children's early English can be improved from an early age. This research is a classroom action research with research subjects are 10 children. The independent variable of this research is the total physical response method of data collection starting from the observation of data analysis techniques done in quantitative descriptive. The results showed that children's early English language skills improved after being given an action in accordance with the Total Physical Response method. The percentage value in the pre-cycle reaches 32% with the criteria of Not Developing in cycle 1 the percentage value is on average reaches 66% with the criteria of Starting to Develop and has increased in cycle 2 by 86% with the criteria of Very Good Developing while the target of the success of this research is 80% so that the initial English language skills can be improved using the total physical response method.Keywords: Early English, Total Physical Response

Abstract

This research have a purpose to determine the influence of ICT (Information Communication and Technology) -based learning media on the development of early English children aged 5-6 years. The research method used is true experimental research. The subject of this research is a child aged 5-6 years in grade B1 and B2 TK Daniel HKBP Rumbai, the number of groups B1 TK Daniel HKBP Rumbai is 15 children consisting of 6 boys, 9 girls and the number of groups B2 TK Daniel HKBP Rumbai is 15 children consist of 7 boys and 8 girls. Data collection tools used in the form of an early English developmental observation sheet of children aged 5-6 years after obtaining ICT-based learning media treatment. From the results of the t-test showed that the value of asymp. Significant (2-tailed) by 0.013 to a significant value of < 0.05. Hypothesis is accepted means that ICT-based learning media able to make English skills early children aged 5-6 years in TK Daniel HKBP Rumbai better. Therefore, researchers provide advice so that educators can make ICT-based learning media as an alternative in learning activities especially on early childhood English recognition

PENYULUHAN PROGRAM PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT (PHBS) MELALUI KEGIATAN CUCI TANGAN PAKAI SABUN PADA PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI Yesi Novitasari*, Heleni Filtri*, Suharni* Email: yesinovitasari@unilak.ac.id *Dosen Prodi Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, FKIP, Unilak ABSTRAK: Kesehatan merupakan hal yang terpenting dalam kehidupan manusia dan kesehatan menjadi kata kunci kebahagian anak usia dini. Hal tersebut dapat dicapai dengan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Hidup sehat dapat dicapai dengan cara perilaku menjaga kebersihan diri, dan perilaku menjaga kebersihan diri dapat dilakukan dengan hal yang paling mudah salah satunya dengan cara mencuci tangan menggunakan sabun. Dengan pembiasaan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat tentu saja dapat mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak diperiode golden age. Program Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat Melalui Kegiatan Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun belum dijalankan di PAUD Mutiara Cendekia, sehingga anak belum terbisa mencuci tangan setelah selesai melakukan kegiatan. Kondisi ini menyebabkan anak disekolah tidak dalam keadaan benar-benar bersih, sehingga beberapa anak banyak terserang kuman dan virus. Adapun solusi yang ditawarkan yaitu Penyuluhan Program Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) Melalui Kegiatan Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun pada Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Mutiara Cendekia. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan anak-anak, orang tua dan guru dapat menyadari pentingnya kebersihan dan mampu membiasakan diri untuk berperilaku hidup bersih dan sehat sejak usia dini, salah satunya dengan terbiasa mencuci tangan menggunakan sabun dengan cara yang baik dan benar setelah selesai melakukan kegiatan di dalam maupun di luar ruangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat melalui cuci tangan setelah dilaksanakan penyuluhan mengalami peningkatan signifikan. Hal ini tergambar dari adanya peningkatan persentase angket orangtua dari 57.18 dengan kategori cukup baik menjadi 76.56 yang berada pada kategori baik. Abstract

Kemampuan reading bahasa inggris awal anak usia dini membutuhkan kreatifitas orang tua dan pendidik dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis daur ulang (recycle system). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan model One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelompok dan melakukan pretest sebelum diberikan perlakuan, dilanjutkan dengan posttest. Adapun teknik sampling menggunakan teknik total sampling yang mencakup seluruh anak kelompok B di PAUD Baitul Amal dengan jumlah 27 anak. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan adanya tingkat determinasi sebesar 40,6% yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan pada media pembelajaran berbasis recycle system terhadap kemampuan reading bahasa inggris awal anak usia dini di Paud Baitul Amal. Dengan demikian pendidik dapat memanfaatkan recycle system untuk memenuhi media pembelajaran reading bahasa inggris awal di pendidikan anak usia dini.
