Abstract

Masamba Substation (GI), located at the endpoint of the Sulselrabar electrical system, often experiences disruptions due to high lightning activity. These disruptions can lead to transformer energization under load conditions, posing risks of significant transformer damage and destabilizing the electrical system. To address this, an effective protection scheme is needed. The Zero Voltage Relay (RTN) is designed to prevent transformer energization under load, making it crucial to configure and test RTN at Masamba GI. This study aims to implement the RTN protection scheme and determine the optimal configuration to protect the transformer and maintain electrical system stability at Masamba GI. Given the frequent disruptions and associated risks, a quantitative method was employed. This included collecting technical data from GI equipment, testing the RTN configuration using the MiCOM P143 relay, and analyzing undervoltage and undercurrent parameters as RTN trigger inputs. The results demonstrated that the RTN operated effectively, automatically releasing the load during disturbances, thereby preventing transformer energization under load. The applied RTN settings increased the selectivity and reliability of the protection system, ensuring the RTN only activated during critical situations. This not only prevented potential transformer damage but also contributed to extending its lifespan and improving overall system stability. The RTN configuration at Masamba Substation proves to be a reliable solution for mitigating risks associated with frequent lightning-induced disruptions, enhancing both protection and system resilience.

Abstract

This research investigates the internal resistance and capacitance characteristics of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries utilizing an equivalent circuit model based on resistor-capacitor (RC) networks. The growing integration of batteries in diverse applications, including electric vehicles and renewable energy systems, necessitates robust battery health monitoring strategies. This work employs current and voltage data acquired during battery discharge, subsequently analyzed using MATLAB 2023b software to determine the pertinent RC parameters. A third-order Equivalent Circuit Model (ECM) of RC, comprising three RC pairs, is implemented to enhance the precision of parameter estimation. The results demonstrate a strong correlation between the number of RC pairs and the accuracy of dynamic battery response representation. A higher-order model generally yields more precise estimations of battery performance. However, increasing model complexity can lead to overfitting, potentially diminishing the model's ability to accurately reflect actual battery behavior. This study contributes significantly to the understanding of LiFePO4 battery internal characteristic modeling and underscores the importance of balancing model fidelity with computational complexity.

Abstract

In essence, humans need communication in dealing with other people. Interpersonal communication is the process of delivering information or messages from someone or using people to someone or a group of other people which is an interpersonal interaction that is a symbolic system, linguistics, such as verbal and non-verbal systems. This system can be socialized directly / face to face or through other media. Basic Human Personality and is a set of basic human potentials that contain the power to do something better and is a blend of intellectual and spiritual knowledge. In that sense, not only smart in education but further than that mastery of the soul or spiritual so that it will form students who have independent, disciplined, honest, responsible, creative, innovative and noblecharacter. Then the main problem is how interpersonal communication in shaping the character of students and the role of caregiver Interpersonal Communication in educating students in religious knowledge and general education. This research is a research, which is a research carried out by lifting the data in the field that is needed, namely data from the Nurul Iman Al-Hasanah Islamic Boarding School. The data collection method used is interviews as primary data, while other methods used are observation and documentation.

Abstract

The current industrial landscape is experiencing rapid development, compelling companies to produce high-quality products that meet consumer expectations. The production activities are crucial in the execution of the production process, and smooth operations are highly anticipated by companies in general. This study aims to identify the root causes of frequent breakdowns in the simplex machine that occurred between February and April 2023. The study employs the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to determine the root causes of issues that lead to undesirable events. The results from the Fault Tree Analysis revealed that the primary causes of simplex machine breakdowns are attributed to human factors, machine issues, and material problems. Furthermore, the findings from the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) identified the highest Risk Priority Numbers (RPN) for each component: lack of scheduled machine maintenance (RPN = 192), old machinery (RPN = 64), and waste material getting stuck in the flayer (RPN = 210).

Abstract

This study investigated how student–teacher relationships relate to English-speaking performance among 154 second-year students at MAN 1 Ogan Ilir. Relationship quality was measured using the 25-item Student–Teacher Relationship Measure (S-TRM) and categorized into Good, Fair, and Poor groups. Speaking performance was assessed through a task on “My Favorite Hobby” using a rubric covering fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar accuracy, and comprehension, with 33 students (11 per group) evaluated. The results showed a moderate, significant correlation between relationship quality and speaking scores (r = 0.450, p = 0.009). ANOVA confirmed significant differences among the groups (F = 5.180, p = 0.012), with the widest gap between the Good and Poor groups. These findings highlight that positive student–teacher relationships contribute to stronger speaking performance, consistent with Vygotsky’s sociocultural view of learning.
