Abstract

PKM sebagai sarana peningkatan softskill dosen fakultas pendidikan Universitas Bumigora bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dosen dalam menghasilkan buku ajar yang berkualitas. Kegiatan pelatihan terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu, tahap persiapan, tahap sosialisasi, tahap pelaksanaan, serta tahap evaluasi dan pelaporan. Kegiatan pelatihan penulisan buku ajar dilaksanakan dalam satu kali pertemuan. Menggunakan metode partisipatif. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dosen terhadap struktur penulisan buku ajar yang baik. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, dosen diharapkan mampu menghasilkan buku ajar yang relevan, adaptif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan kurikulum serta karakteristik mahasiswa, sehingga mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

The massive use of digital learning platforms and AI in education has generated large quantities of dataon teacher and student information, online interactions, and teaching and learning practices. This data can be collected, analyzed, and interpreted to improve educational outcomes. Following the interest and attention in this topic, numerous research studies have been conducted to gain a better understanding in this area. Thus, the purpose of this study is to summarize the literature on datafication in education from 2020 to 2024 and to explore the key terms related to its influence on educational practices, and its potential future implications. The method used in this study is a bibliometric analysis. A total of 200 articles were found in Google Scholar through a search using the keywords "datafication in education."The study found that research on datafication in education has grown significantly in recent years. Initially focused on technological aspects, the research has shifted towards practical applications and critical perspectives. Key themes identified include data literacy, AI, and the ethical implications of data use in education. As an implication of this study, this overview aims to assist future research by enriching and expanding the scope of research and encouraging progress in related disciplines. This will contribute to a fuller understanding of the potential benefits and risks of datafication in transforming education.

Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum 2013 menjadi kurikulum Merdeka dimulai pada tahun 2022. Kurikulum Merdeka mulai diterapkan di jenjang Pendidikan menengah pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan keleluasaan kepada pendidik untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan lingkungan belajar peserta didik.  Kurikulum Merdeka diterapkan dengan tujuan untuk melatih pendidik maupun peserta didik melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan tematik integratif, dimana pendidik mengajak peserta didik diajak untuk melihat, memperhatikan dan mengamati lingkungan sekitar, serta tidak lagi berorientasi pada hafalan. Pada implementasinya, kurikulum Merdeka memerlukan pemahaman para pendidik dan tenaga pendidik terkait komponen-komponen yang ada dalam kurikulum tersebut, seperti capaian pembelajaran, tujuan pembelajaran, alur tujuan pembelajaran, dan modul ajar.  Namun, kondisi di lapangan menggambarkan bahwa para pendidik dan tenaga pendidik masih kesulitan dalam memahami pengimplementasian kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Pelaksanaan pengabdian Masyarakat yang diterapkan melalui pelatihan implementasi kurikulum nasional 2024 diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik maupun tenaga pendidik dalam memahami penerapan kurikulum Merdeka belajar serta bagaimana mengimplementasikan kurikulum Merdeka belajar dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Pelatihan ini dihadiri oleh Kepala Sekolah, para pendidik dan tenaga pendidik di SMP IT Al-Ishlahuddiny. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa sebelum pelatihan dan sesudah pelatihan para peserta pelatihan dapat memahami materi yang disampaikan dengan baik.

Abstract

Mitos memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk perilaku sosial dan moral masyarakat Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran mitos dalam pendidikan masyarakat di Flores, Lombok Barat, dan Lombok Utara, serta menggali potensi mitos sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan berbagai tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama, dan pemuka adat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mitos, seperti larangan keluar pada waktu maghrib dan larangan makan di depan pintu, memiliki dampak signifikan dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moral dan disiplin pada masyarakat. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa mitos-mitos tersebut berperan dalam mengajarkan etika, menjaga keselamatan, dan menghormati waktu. Novelty penelitian ini terletak pada penghubungan mitos dengan teori pendidikan, seperti behavioristik dan konstruktivisme, yang menunjukkan bahwa mitos dapat menjadi media efektif dalam membentuk perilaku dan karakter positif. Dengan demikian, mitos dapat diintegrasikan dalam pendidikan formal dan non-formal untuk memperkuat pemahaman siswa tentang nilai-nilai budaya lokal

Abstract

This article reports on a community engagement initiative in the form of a workshop designed to strengthen the pedagogical competence of students in the faculty of education, specifically in creating formative assessments through game-based applications. The workshop incorporated principles of Transformative Learning and Experiential Learning, utilizing qualitative instruments such as questionnaires and project documentation. The program effectively shifted students’ perspectives on assessment, with notable progress in their ability to design interactive and pedagogically sound quizzes. Despite some variation in creative design and video tutorial presentation skills, the overall outcomes were positive. The workshop is expected to make a meaningful contribution to enhancing both the quality of learning and participants’ pedagogical skills in developing and applying formative assessments using interactive quiz tools. Abstract

This research aims to uncover the experiences of Indonesian students in utilizing Learning Management Systems (LMS) during their studies in higher education. Through a qualitative approach, it was found that the majority of respondents did not have prior experience using LMS at previous educational levels, making the adaptation process an initial challenge. This research employs a qualitative approach. Using purposive sampling techniques, ten respondents who have used digital technology in their academic activities were selected. Semi-structured interviews were used as the main data collection method. The research results show that LMS plays an important role in supporting academic activities, especially because it provides structured access to lecture materials, learning resources, schedules, and announcements. Flexible features and ease of access also encourage the emergence of self-directed learning initiatives. However, some technical hurdles still exist, such as a less intuitive interface design and inconsistent material presentation across courses. These findings underscore the need for further development of LMS, both from a technical side and usage guidelines, as well as the necessity for instruments to identify the active roles of respondents in using LMS to improve learning outcomes. This study contributes to understanding the dynamics of LMS utilization by respondents, particularly in the context of the transition to digital learning in higher education.
