Abstract

Pasar 16 Ilir in Palembang has high historical and cultural value as one of the oldest trading centers in the city. However, the lack of public understanding, especially the younger generation, of the historical value of Pasar 16 Ilir is an issue that needs to be addressed so that this cultural heritage is maintained. This community service program aims to increase awareness and appreciation of local history through educational and interactive historical guided tours. This activity is carried out in collaboration with PLGGoodGuide, a local community that acts as a tour guide, and involves the participation of traders and craftsmen at Pasar 16 Ilir. The methods used in this program include interactive guiding approaches, direct observation, and surveys to measure participants' understanding and satisfaction. The results showed an increase in participants' knowledge and appreciation of Palembang's history and culture, as well as a positive impact on the local economy through the promotion of products and businesses in the market. This collaboration succeeded in creating an educational tourism model that can be used as a reference for similar activities in other places, supporting cultural preservation, and strengthening the attractiveness of historical tourism in Palembang.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengetahuan komunitas transpuan di Palembang dalam memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi usaha. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif observatif, dengan fokus pada pengamatan langsung terhadap proses peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam membuat konten promosi usaha di media sosial. Kegiatan ini melibatkan penyampaian materi oleh narasumber, praktik langsung pembuatan konten, serta sesi diskusi dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta mengenai strategi promosi digital, pembuatan konten yang menarik, serta interaksi dengan pelanggan melalui platform media sosial seperti Instagram dan TikTok. Kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan rasa percaya diri komunitas transpuan dalam memperkenalkan produk dan jasa mereka secara lebih luas. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung kemandirian ekonomi komunitas transpuan di Palembang melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital.

Abstract

Permasalahan sampah di kawasan perkotaan masih menjadi tantangan serius, terutama pada wilayah padat penduduk seperti bantaran sungai yang memiliki risiko pencemaran tinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan mengubah perilaku warga dalam pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga melalui pendekatan edukatif dan pendampingan partisipatif. Lokasi kegiatan difokuskan di Kelurahan 27 Ilir dan Kelurahan Lorok Pakjo, Kota Palembang. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi secara langsung dan pendampingan rumah tangga selama dua minggu. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman warga terhadap pemilahan sampah serta penerapan praktik pengelolaan sampah yang lebih bertanggung jawab. Temuan ini dianalisis menggunakan Theory of Planned Behavior (Ajzen, 1991), yang menekankan pentingnya sikap, norma sosial, dan persepsi kontrol dalam membentuk niat dan perilaku. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam membangun budaya pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan di tingkat komunitas.

Abstract

Program Peningkatan Kapasitas Wirausaha Digital dengan Digital Entrepreneurship Academy (DEA) yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika bertujuan untuk membantu para peserta dalam memahami kewirausahaan digital dan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk meningkatkan daya saing usaha. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini mencakup pembelajaran langsung dan praktik terkait konsep kewirausahaan, penggunaan media digital seperti email dan media sosial, serta pengurusan legalitas usaha melalui OSS. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa para peserta mampu mengadopsi teknologi digital dalam usaha mereka, meskipun beberapa peserta menghadapi kendala dalam adaptasi teknologi. Saran yang diberikan adalah untuk memperluas waktu praktik serta meningkatkan dukungan teknis bagi peserta yang kurang terbiasa dengan teknologi.

Abstract

One of the procedures for rescuing a seaplane after an operational is to secure it, namely by mooring at an available port or mooring at a mooring buoy. This mooring buoy is considered a vehicle necessary for securing seaplanes in coastal conditions where it is not yet possible to build infrastructure in the form of an amphiport. To overcome this problem, seaplanes need to add a mooring cleat at the end of the bow of each float, which attaches the rope to the mooring buoy itself. So, it is necessary to study the strength of the mooring cleat itself when withstanding environmental loads. This study was carried out by modelling the mooring cleat using the finite element method to determine where the most significant stresses occur in the mooring cleat structure. Mooring cleats are modelled on deck thickness with varying thicknesses of 20mm and 40mm. The stress that occurred in the mooring cleat structure is then calculated using the Palmgren-Miner rule to determine the fatigue life of the mooring cleat for each variation. It was found that the largest von Misses stress experienced by the structure using 7075-T6 aluminium material was 147.87 MPa, which occurred in the mooring cleat, which was located on the 20mm deck thickness variation at the portside. Meanwhile, this variation's most extended fatigue life calculation occurred for the 40mm deck thickness variation on the portside with 514.43 years.

Abstract

Accurate river water level prediction is essential for flood management, especially in tropical areas like Palembang. This study systematically analyzes the performance of two deep learning models, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU), for real-time water level forecasting using hourly rainfall and water level data collected from automatic sensors. A series of experiments were conducted by varying window sizes (10, 20, 30) and the number of layers (1, 2, 3) for both models, with model performance assessed using RMSE, MAE, MAPE, and NSE. The results demonstrate that both window size and network depth significantly influence prediction accuracy and computational efficiency. The LSTM model achieved its highest accuracy with a window size of 30 and a single layer, while the GRU model performed best with a window size of 20 and two layers. This work contributes by systematically analyzing hyperparameter configurations of LSTM and GRU models on hourly rainfall and water level time series for flood-prone regions, offering empirical insight into parameter tuning in recurrent neural architectures for hydrological forecasting. These findings highlight the importance of careful parameter selection in developing reliable early warning systems for flood risk management.
