Abstract

This article presents a literature review on misconceptions of static fluid material in high school students, which is an important issue in physics learning. These misconceptions often stem from improper understanding of basic concepts, which can hinder students' academic achievement. Research shows that students often misunderstand key concepts such as hydrostatic pressure, Pascal's law and Archimedes' law, which negatively impacts their understanding of more complex physical phenomena. Through an in-depth analysis of 348 Google Scholar indexed publications from 2015 to 2024 with help from search tools such as Publish or Perish and Dimensions AI. This article identifies the causes of misconceptions and offers a constructivist approach as a solution to improve student understanding. By integrating findings from various studies, this review aims to provide a more comprehensive insight into the phenomenon of misconceptions and the strategies that can be applied to overcome them, so as to improve the effectiveness of physics learning at the high school level. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan bahan ajar fisika matematika pada materi persamaan diferensial yang berorientasi pada peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Produk yang dihasilkan berupa modul ajar fisika matematika yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang meliputi lima tahapan utama: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar berupa modul yang dikembangkan telah melalui proses validasi oleh para ahli dengan tiga aspek penilaian, yaitu kelayakan isi, penyajian, dan kebahasaan. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian dari dua orang ahli, diperoleh rata-rata skor 92,5 dengan persentase 79,74%, yang dikategorikan baik dan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Dari segi efektivitas, hasil implementasi modul ajar pada proses pembelajaran menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap aktivitas, respons, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Aktivitas mahasiswa selama pembelajaran mencapai 73,59%, termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil respon menunjukan bahan ajar berupa modul yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori praktis. Mahasiswa menilai bahan ajar ini praktis karena mudah dipahami, memiliki instruksi yang jelas, serta didukung oleh kualitas visual yang baik. Selanjutnya, kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 58 meningkat menjadi 75 pada posttest. Artinya, bahan ajar yang dikembangkan cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa modul ajar fisika matematika berbasis model ADDIE pada materi persamaan diferensial memiliki kelayakan dan efektivitas yang baik. Modul ini tidak hanya mempermudah mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep abstrak fisika matematika, tetapi juga mendorong peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Dengan demikian, modul ajar ini dinyatakan layak, efektif, dan praktis digunakan sebagai sumber belajar mandiri maupun pendukung dalam proses perkuliahan fisika matematika.

Abstract

Melimpahnya cabai rawit hijau pada saat panen, belum dapat meningkatkan penghasilan kelompok tani Geger Girang di Desa Setanggor Dusun Lendek-Lombok Timur Nusa Tenggara Barat. Peningkatan penghasilan dapat dilakukan dengan mengolah cabai rawit hijau dengan inovasi olahan. Pemberdayaan inovasi produk olahan cabai rawit hijau dapat menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut sekaligus menjadikannya sebagai tambahan penghasilan. Tujuan kegiatan pemberdayaan kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, mengembangkan inovasi dan keterampilan masyarakat kelompok tani Geger Girang dalam mengolah cabai rawit hijau menjadi produk olahan yang bervariasi. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah mengenai cabai rawit hijau, metode praktik tentang cara pengolahan pembuatan sambel dan abon dengan menggunakan bahan cabe hijau, serta melakukan evaluasi kegiatan melalui metode tanya jawab serta pendampingan kegiatan praktik pasca pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa kelompok tani dapat mengolah hasil panen dengan membuat berbagai inovasi olahan sambal dan abon. Sebagai tindak lanjut dari kegiatan ini, perlu konsistensi dalam pendampingan untuk pemasaran produk olahan dan inovasi olahan lainnya, sehingga tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah memberdayakan kelompok tani Geger Girang secara berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan penghasilan UMKM.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of a scientific article writing workshop organized by the Physics Education Study Program Student Association (Himafis) at the FKIP, University of Mataram in 2024. This activity aims to improve the writing skills of students, alumni, and lecturers in compiling quality scientific articles. This workshop consists of several stages, including preparation, implementation, and discussion. In the preparation stage, a committee was formed from students and coordinated with the association's supervisor to plan online and offline activities. The workshop was attended by 48 participants and presented competent speakers, including professors and alumni of the study program. The material presented included an introduction to scientific articles, article structure analysis, and tips and tricks in writing. The interactive discussion between participants and speakers showed high enthusiasm, indicating the need for further training in scientific writing. The results of this activity are expected to increase the productivity of scientific paper publications among students, as well as overcome the challenges faced in writing scientific articles.

Abstract

Rendahnya pemahaman Hakikat Sains (Nature of Science/NOS) dan literasi sains peserta didik SMP, akibat dominasi pembelajaran hafalan, menuntut integrasi Filsafat Ilmu (Ontologi, Epistemologi, Aksiologi) sebagai kerangka konseptual. Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan implementasi nilai-nilai filsafat ilmu dalam pembelajaran IPA SMP secara sistematis. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) deskriptif-kualitatif, mengacu pada protokol PRISMA. Kajian dilakukan terhadap literatur yang relevan dalam rentang 10 tahun terakhir (2015–2025). Sebanyak 15 artikel ilmiah terpilih dari berbagai basis data akademik dianalisis. Hasil sintesis mengidentifikasi model implementasi paling efektif adalah Integratif, Eksplisit, dan Reflektif, yang direalisasikan melalui strategi aktif seperti Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) dan Case-Based Teaching (CBT). Pendekatan ini terbukti mampu mentransformasi pemahaman siswa dari pandangan sains sebagai fakta final menjadi proses penyelidikan berbasis bukti, serta meningkatkan literasi ilmiah. Kontribusi spesifik penelitian ini adalah menyediakan peta komprehensif mengenai pola implementasi dan adaptasi kultural (etnosains) filsafat ilmu di konteks pendidikan IPA SMP, khususnya di Indonesia, sebagai panduan pengembangan kurikulum yang konstruktif. Namun, batasan kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi optimal masih menghadapi tantangan signifikan, terutama kurangnya kesiapan pedagogis guru dan keterbatasan sarana laboratorium yang menghambat pencapaian tujuan epistemologis berbasis inkuiri.

Abstract

Physics learning, especially for abstract material such as momentum and impulse, often faces challenges related to the limitations of conventional teaching media that hinder in-depth exploration and active student participation. This practical research aims to describe the practical strategy of introducing a Multimodal Approach Integrated E-Student Worksheet (e-LKPD) and analyze its potential as a driver of student engagement at SMAN 1 Mataram. The method applied was a practice-based approach, integrated with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, conducted through stages of Preparation, Implementation, and Practical Reflection on students of Class XI IPA 1. Observational results indicate that the activity ran smoothly and received a very positive response. The Multimodal e-LKPD, with the integration of features such as PhET Interactive Simulation, contextual videos, and text and infographics, proved to be an effective strategy serving as a strong catalyst for active participation. This was evident from the increased enthusiasm and student initiative to attempt experimental scenarios beyond the guidelines. In conclusion, this e-LKPD successfully transformed static teaching media into a trigger for curiosity and support for self-directed learning, proving its role as a superior contextual solution in line with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The scarcity and high price of subsidized fertilizers have become major obstacles to farmer productivity in Senanggalih Village. This study aims to educate the community on organic fertilizer production as an independent alternative solution by utilizing local waste. The method used was participatory training (learning by doing) involving 20 representatives of farmers and livestock breeders from each hamlet on January 19, 2026. The activity stages included theoretical socialization, practical demonstrations using livestock manure, burnt husks, EM4, and molasses, as well as an evaluation stage. The results showed a paradigm shift among farmers in viewing organic waste and an improvement in technical skills regarding the fermentation process. Based on evaluation data from questionnaires, this program achieved a very high level of satisfaction (100% on the agree and strongly agree scales) across all success indicators. In conclusion, this education is effective in increasing farmer independence and providing a concrete solution to the dependency on chemical fertilizers in Senanggalih Village.

Abstract

Misconceptions at the elementary school level represent a serious cognitive barrier in establishing students' scientific foundations. This article aims to map the science concept areas most prone to misconceptions and analyze the effectiveness of remediation strategies based on scientific publications from 2015–2024. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 10 core articles screened using the Publish or Perish application. The analysis reveals that misconceptions predominantly occur in abstract topics such as force and motion, electrical circuits, and photosynthesis. The primary causes include students' intuitive preconceptions, conventional teaching methods, and ambiguous textbook illustrations. These findings confirm that remediation strategies based on the Conceptual Change Model (CCM) and Predict-Observe-Explain (POE), integrated with immersive technologies (AR, virtual simulations, and gamification), are proven most effective in correcting students' cognitive structures. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of routinely using diagnostic instruments to detect misconceptions at an early stage.

Abstract

This article discusses innovations in physics learning methods through the use of game-based media, specifically a snakes and ladders game designed with educational elements. In the context of an ever-evolving educational landscape, traditional approaches are often considered less effective in capturing student interest, particularly in complex subjects like physics. Therefore, this research developed a media tool called "Einstein's Snake and Ladder Game" as an innovative solution to enhance student motivation, engagement, and understanding of physics concepts. Using a mixed-methods research approach, this article explains the media creation process from the preparation stage to production as well as its relevance to physics education. The design tools utilized included Canva and Microsoft Word, while media validation was measured via Google Forms. The results indicate that this game not only helps students grasp the material more effectively but also fosters a more inclusive and enjoyable learning environment. Consequently, this game-based media is expected to address challenges in physics education and make the learning process more engaging for students.
