Abstract

This research aims to analyze the performance of three types of filters, namely median filters, low FIR filters, and Butterworth filters, in eliminating noise in sound signals. Evaluation is carried out through simulation and evaluation using the Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) parameters. The simulation results show that the three filters are able to produce signal estimates that are close to the original signal with low MSE values. The median filter shows the best performance with an MSE of 0.015833 and the highest SNR of 51.6334 dB, indicating its ability to reduce noise without sacrificing signal clarity. FIR and Butterworth filters also provide good results, although with slightly lower levels of accuracy. In conclusion, median filters are the optimal choice for noise removal in speech signals, while FIR and Butterworth filters remain good alternatives depending on application requirements. Further research and practical testing are needed for validation in real-world situations

Abstract

Increasingly intense climate change has increased the frequency and intensity of extreme weather, making weather prediction critical for mitigation and adaptation. This research focuses on long-term prediction of extreme weather using the Long ShortTerm Memory (LSTM) model, as well as evaluating the influence of climate change on prediction accuracy. In this study, historical weather data is used to train and test an LSTM model combined with a RandomForestClassifier. Analysis was carried out using the Mean Squared Error (MSE) evaluation technique for 50 epochs and 8 trials at various threshold values (26, 29, 32, 35, 38, 41, 44, 47). The research results show that the LSTM model is able to predict extreme weather with an accuracy of up to 100%. Apart from that, this research also predicts daily rainfall in Bandung City through the process of data collection, preprocessing, normalization and evaluation using Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) and Mean Absolute Error (MAE). This model produces an RMSE of 4.24 and MAE value of 2.72%, indicating quite good predictions. It is hoped that this research can make a significant contribution to the field of meteorology and can be developed further by adding parameters or other methods to improve the quality of predictions. Suggestions are given to increase the amount of data used to obtain better prediction results in the future.

Abstract

Desa Sungai Pinang di Kecamatan Muara Lakitan, Kabupaten Musi Rawas, menghadapi tantangan sosial-ekonomi yang signifikan, termasuk keterbatasan akses pendidikan, keterampilan, dan sumber daya ekonomi. Upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat desa menjadi strategi krusial dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kemandirian masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan strategi pemberdayaan berbasis desa binaan dengan pendekatan multidisiplin yang melibatkan perguruan tinggi, pemerintah desa, dan komunitas lokal. Metode kegiatan ini menggunakan metode tindakan partisipatif (Participatory Action Research/PAR) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Program pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan pada Juli 2023, melibatkan 35 peserta dari berbagai kelompok masyarakat, termasuk tokoh adat, aparat desa, dan warga setempat yang dilakukan melalui tiga tahap utama: (1) edukasi dan sosialisasi konsep desa binaan, (2) pembentukan kelompok kerja berbasis bidang (ekonomi, pertanian, hukum, dan teknologi informasi), serta (3) implementasi dan evaluasi program berbasis kebutuhan masyarakat. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai konsep desa binaan serta memfasilitasi pengelompokan warga dalam bidang ekonomi, pertanian, hukum, dan teknologi informasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan teknis dan manajerial peserta dalam bidang ekonomi kreatif, pertanian berkelanjutan, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, serta pemahaman terhadap regulasi hukum desa. Selain itu, kolaborasi dengan perguruan tinggi berkontribusi pada peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia desa.

Abstract

Start up businesses experiencing difficulties in their growth process, especially in terms of scalability, marketing, and risk management. Scalability is the ability of a business to increase its operational scale without reducing efficiency and effectiveness. Marketing is the process of promoting a product or service so that it is known to the public and attracts consumer interest. Risk management is an action taken by the company to reduce the negative impact of unwanted events. Based on this background, research will be carried out entitled: "Business Start-up Growth Strategy: Analysis of Solutions for Scalability, Marketing and Risk Management”. The methods used in this study are qualitative and quantitative research methods. Qualitative research methods are used to gain an in-depth understanding of solutions for scalability, marketing, and risk management Start up business. In this case the researcher will conduct an interview with the founder or manager of the Start up, view and analyze related documents and records, and make direct observations. on activities Start up. The purpose of this research is to analyze how this happens. Start-up businesses can overcome difficulties such as scalability, marketing, and risk management as they grow and provide recommendations for effective growth strategies can overcome problems and can help strengthen the business sector and make a positive contribution to the economy. To provide enlightenment to the public, the results of the research will be published in an Accredited Journal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) untuk: Untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep fisika yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model Flipped Classroom pada peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Cijeruk. 2) Untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep fisika yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model Direct instruction pada peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Cijeruk.3) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemehaman konsep peserta didik yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model Flipped Classroom dan model Direct Instruction pada peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Cijeruk.  Adapun desain dalam penelitian ini adalah True Experimantal Design dengan menggunakan pre-test-post-testt control group design. Dimana akan diambil dua kelas untuk diteliti, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang keduanya dipilih secara acak (random). Populasi target dalam penelitian ini adalah SMA Negeri 1 Cijeruk. Populasi terjangkau pada penelitian ini adalah kelas X MIPA 1 dengan jumlah 35 siswa, X MIPA 2 berjumlah 36 siswa, dan kelas X MIPA 3 berjumlah 35 siswa dan total seluruhnya yaitu 106 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Purpossive Sampling. Pengumpulan data diambil dengan tes dalam bentuk essay. Teknik analisi data menggunakan Uji normalitas yang digunakan adalah uji Chi Square, Uji homogenitas yang digunakan adalah uji Fisher, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Kemampuan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik kelas X MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Cijeruk dengan menggunakan model Flipped Classroom nilai rata-rata pre-test (26.04) dan nilai rata-rata post-test (73.79) Kemampuan pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Cijeruk dengan menggunakan model Direct instruction nilai rata-rata pre-test (25.64) dan nilai rata-rata post-test (65.90). 2) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan pemahaman konsep fisika menggunakan model Flipped Classroom dan model Direct instruction, berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t terhadap hasil Post-test, hasilnya t_hitung sebesar 2,48 dan nilai t tabel sebesar 2.00. 3) Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan t_hitung > t_tabel, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Maka, kesimpulan yang didapatkan menunjukan bahwa penerapan model Flipped Classroom lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model Direct instruction dilihat dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep setelah diberi perlakuan.
