<![CDATA[Abstract: Buzzers are one of the emerging phenomena in the digital age. The existence of buzzers on social media is often a means used by election participants to convince people to vote for them in direct elections. In the academic world, this is considered to be detrimental to the democratic process because its content can break the stability of society. The purpose of this study is to find out how the urgency of buzzer control as a political stability measure for the 2024 general election is associated with Human Rights. The research method used is a normative legal research method through a conceptual approach. This research resulted in findings that the existence of buzzers is a challenge for democracy in expressing opinions in the digital sphere because it can influence people to make political decisions. This can affect the development of elections in Indonesia. In Indonesia, there is still a legal vacuum regarding the position of buzzers, so tactical and effective solutions in dealing with political buzzers that violate norms should be regulations that provide sanctions and control over them. If the buzzer is proven to violate the rules, it must be subject to sanctions that provide a deterrent effect. Keywords: Buzzer, human rights, political stability, general election. Abstrak: Buzzer adalah salah satu fenomena yang muncul di era digital. Keberadaan buzzer di media social seringkali menjadi sarana yang digunakan para peserta pemilu meyakinkan masyarakat untuk memilihnya dalam pemilihan langsung. Dalam dunia akademik, hal tersebut dinilai dapat menciderai proses demokrasi sebab konten-kontennya bisa memecahkan stabilitas masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana urgensi kontrol buzzer sebagai langkah stabilitas politik pemilihan umum tahun 2024 yang dikaitkan dengan Hak Asasi Manusia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian hukum normatif melalui pendekatan konseptual. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa keberadaan buzzer menjadi tantangan demokrasi dalam menyampaikan pendapat di lingkup digital karena dapat mempengaruhi masyarakat untuk menentukan keputusan politik. Hal tersebut dapat mempengaruhi pembangunan pemilihan umum di Indonesia. Di Indonesia masih terjadi kekosongan hukum mengenai posisi buzzer sehingga solusi taktis dan efektif dalam menangani buzzer politik yang melanggar norma seharusnya berupa peraturan yang memberikan sanksi dan kontrol atasnya. Jika buzzer terbukti melanggar aturan maka harus dikenakan sanksi yang memberikan efek jera.]]>
