Abstract

This research examines the commitment of foundations in enhancing the individual well-being of Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMPIT) teachers in Jambi Province. The study explores multifaceted strategies, including financial stability, professional growth opportunities, and socio-cultural support, aimed at improving the quality of life and job satisfaction for teachers. Drawing upon Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory and Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, the research emphasizes the importance of addressing both intrinsic and extrinsic factors in fostering teacher well-being. The findings reveal that a comprehensive and collaborative approach by foundations significantly impacts teacher motivation and performance, contributing to the sustainability of education development in Islamic schools. The study provides practical insights and recommendations for policymakers and educational stakeholders to further enhance teacher welfare systems.

Abstract

In general, the purpose of this study was to analyze the role of Al-Quran Hadith teachers in increasing interest in reading the Al-Quran in the digital era at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sarolangun. Specifically, this study aims to find out about: 1) To find out the role of Al-Quran Hadith teachers in increasing interest in reading the Al-Quran 2) To find out the success of Al-Quran Hadith teachers in increasing interest in reading in reading the Qur’an. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The data sources of this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data are the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sarolangun, Al-Quran Hadith teachers and also class XI students. As for secondary data from this observation, books, articles, and reference searches that are relevant to research. The data collection method used is observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the role of the Al-Quran Hadith teacher in increasing students' interest in reading the Al-Quran in class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sarolangun namely: The role of the Al-Quran Hadith teacher as educator, mentor, facilitator, motivator, and evaluator.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts of Akidah Akhlak teachers in fostering religious moderation at MTsN 2 Jambi City. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively-qualitatively to describe strategies and challenges in fostering religious moderation. The research findings show that efforts to foster religious moderation are carried out inside and outside the classroom. In the classroom, teachers insert moderation values such as tolerance, justice, balance, deliberation, middle ground, and equality, all of which are related to students' daily lives. Outside the classroom, coaching focuses on strengthening national values and local culture through extracurricular activities and national moments. The obstacles faced include students' lack of understanding due to an unsupportive environment and the influence of social media that spreads extreme information. Strategic efforts involve all elements of the madrasah, including the principal, through synergy, role models, and integration of moderation values in activities and curriculum.
