Abstract

In general, the purpose of this study was to analyze the role of Al-Quran Hadith teachers in increasing interest in reading the Al-Quran in the digital era at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sarolangun. Specifically, this study aims to find out about: 1) To find out the role of Al-Quran Hadith teachers in increasing interest in reading the Al-Quran 2) To find out the success of Al-Quran Hadith teachers in increasing interest in reading in reading the Qur’an. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The data sources of this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data are the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sarolangun, Al-Quran Hadith teachers and also class XI students. As for secondary data from this observation, books, articles, and reference searches that are relevant to research. The data collection method used is observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the role of the Al-Quran Hadith teacher in increasing students' interest in reading the Al-Quran in class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sarolangun namely: The role of the Al-Quran Hadith teacher as educator, mentor, facilitator, motivator, and evaluator.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan pendekatan pendampingan dan pelatihan peran digital parenting dalam pendampingan digital native yang berlangsungdi Aula Kantor Desa Penegah, Sarolangun. Dalam konteks perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat, anak-anak yang lahir di era digital, sering disebut sebagai digital native, memerlukan pendampingan yang bijak agar dapat memanfaatkan teknologi secara positif dan aman. Satuan Pendidikan sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang juga berfokus pada pembentukan karakter, berperan penting dalam memberikan arahan kepada orang tua terkait penggunaan teknologi, terutama aplikasi yang ramah anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan 20 partisipasi aktif orang tua dalam proses pengenalan dan pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi digital. Subjek penelitian dilibatkan dalam sesi pendampingan dan pelatihan untuk memahami aplikasi yang ramah anak serta bagaimana cara mengawasi dan mendampingi anak mereka dalam menggunakan aplikasi tersebut secara aman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah pelatihan dan pendampingan, orang tua semakin paham tentang berbagai aplikasi yang dapat digunakan oleh anak-anak mereka dengan aman dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pendidikan serta perkembangan anak. Orang tua juga dapat mengidentifikasi aplikasi yang dapat menunjang pembelajaran di sekolah, serta bagaimana cara mengatur waktu penggunaan agar tidak mengganggu aktivitas keagamaan dan sosial anak. Pendampingan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan literasi digital orang tua, tetapi juga memperkuat hubungan antara orang tua dan anak dalam mengelola penggunaan teknologi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Secara keseluruhan, pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman pentingnya peran orang tua dalam digital parenting, serta bagaimana pendekatan berbasis partisipasi dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan orang tua dalam mendampingi anak-anak mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts of Akidah Akhlak teachers in fostering religious moderation at MTsN 2 Jambi City. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively-qualitatively to describe strategies and challenges in fostering religious moderation. The research findings show that efforts to foster religious moderation are carried out inside and outside the classroom. In the classroom, teachers insert moderation values such as tolerance, justice, balance, deliberation, middle ground, and equality, all of which are related to students' daily lives. Outside the classroom, coaching focuses on strengthening national values and local culture through extracurricular activities and national moments. The obstacles faced include students' lack of understanding due to an unsupportive environment and the influence of social media that spreads extreme information. Strategic efforts involve all elements of the madrasah, including the principal, through synergy, role models, and integration of moderation values in activities and curriculum.

Abstract

This study examines the Sorogan method as a differentiated Qur’anic learning strategy to enhance Qur’anic reading fluency among eighth-grade students in a public madrasah. Sorogan is an individualized recitation approach in which students read Qur’anic verses directly to the teacher and receive immediate and specific corrective feedback on makhraj articulation and tajwid application. Employing a qualitative descriptive design, the study involved one Qur’an Hadith teacher and 29 students. Data were collected through classroom observations, open-ended interviews, and analysis of instructional documentation over a six-week period. The findings indicate that the Sorogan method supported improvements in reading continuity, accuracy of makhraj articulation, and consistency in applying basic tajwid rules, particularly among students with lower initial fluency. The four initially less-fluent students demonstrated reduced hesitation and fewer recurring pronunciation errors following repeated individualized recitation sessions. In addition to its corrective function, the method enabled the teacher to diagnose specific reading difficulties and provide targeted remedial guidance. Challenges related to limited instructional time and students’ initial lack of confidence were addressed through rotational scheduling and supportive feedback strategies. The study contributes to Qur’anic pedagogy by reconceptualizing Sorogan as a process-based differentiated instructional strategy and a form of formative micro-assessment applicable in formal secondary education settings. Practically, the findings suggest that short and structured Sorogan sessions can be integrated alongside classical instruction to accommodate heterogeneous fluency levels. Future research should employ quantitative or mixed-method approaches using standardized Qur’anic fluency measures and explore implementation across broader educational contexts.
