Abstract

In general, the purpose of this study was to analyze the role of Al-Quran Hadith teachers in increasing interest in reading the Al-Quran in the digital era at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sarolangun. Specifically, this study aims to find out about: 1) To find out the role of Al-Quran Hadith teachers in increasing interest in reading the Al-Quran 2) To find out the success of Al-Quran Hadith teachers in increasing interest in reading in reading the Qur’an. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The data sources of this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data are the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sarolangun, Al-Quran Hadith teachers and also class XI students. As for secondary data from this observation, books, articles, and reference searches that are relevant to research. The data collection method used is observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the role of the Al-Quran Hadith teacher in increasing students' interest in reading the Al-Quran in class XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sarolangun namely: The role of the Al-Quran Hadith teacher as educator, mentor, facilitator, motivator, and evaluator.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out by the Islamic Religious Education Study Program team of UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi at IAI Al-Mujaddid Sabak, Jambi City with the aim of introducing and training the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the learning process. This training was attended by 20 students and 15 lecturers from various educational backgrounds. In this activity, participants were given a basic understanding of the concept and benefits of AI, as well as its application in education, especially in the context of Islamic Religious Education. Although some participants were already familiar with AI technology, they were still not used to using it practically in learning. Therefore, this training aims to increase participants' awareness, knowledge, and skills in utilizing AI as a tool to optimize the learning process. The results of this training showed that participants were very enthusiastic and actively participated, despite challenges related to access to adequate devices. This activity is expected to have a positive impact on improving the quality of education, by encouraging the integration of AI technology in the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in the future.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat (PKM) dalam bentuk sosialisasi ini adalah memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa di IAI Yasni Bungo. agar mampu memberikan motivasi serta bisa bersinergi dengan masyarakat maupun Lembaga pendidikan serta penggiat pendidikan untuk bisa mempertimbangkan bahwa pendidikan dengan jenjang yang lebih tinggi merupakan bekal generasi penerus untuk mampu bersaing agar bisa berdayaguna di era 5.0 dalam pembangunan nasional. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanyajawab. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 23 Mei 2023 . kegiatan ini melibatkan 21 mahasiswa IAI Yasni Bungo. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta bahwa pendidikan menjadi sangat penting di era 5.0 dimasa perkembangan zaman pasar bebas yang bersaing dengan negara negara maju lainnya. Untuk itu, pendidikan akan berjalan baik jika dibarengi dengan dorongan orangtua dan lingkungan masyarakat. Dengan begitu masyarakat termotivasi dalam membangun generasi penerus melalui pendidikan tinggi dan layak agar terbentuk generasi muda yang siap bersaing secara kualitas dan kuantitas dalam menghadapi perkembangan zaman di masa mendatang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internalization of religious moderation through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) among Gen Z students at UIN Jambi by examining Qur’anic values on tolerance and Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah) in the context of the social media era. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review and field observation approach. The results indicate that PAI plays a strategic role in instilling religious moderation by integrating Qur’anic values such as Surah Al-Hujurat verse 10 on Islamic brotherhood and Surah Al-Kafirun verse 6 on tolerance. This internalization is carried out through dialogical learning methods, thematic tafsir studies, and discussion practices based on contemporary social media issues. Gen Z students are able to develop tolerant attitudes, respect differences, and strengthen brotherhood in digital interactions. The study concludes that the internalization of religious moderation through Qur’anic-based PAI is effective in shaping students’ inclusive religious character in the social media era.

Abstract

Digitalisasi pesantren menjadi isu penting dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi di era modern. Meskipun sebagian besar pesantren masih mengandalkan metode konvensional, penggunaan teknologi digital seperti internet dan perangkat elektronik dapat memberikan manfaat besar dalam pembelajaran dan administrasi pesantren. Namun, banyak santri dan pengelola pesantren yang kesulitan beradaptasi dengan teknologi, yang berisiko menghambat perkembangan mereka di dunia luar. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang digitalisasi pesantren kepada pengelola, guru, dan santri di Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Buya KH Muhammad Salek di Provinsi Jambi. Melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan penggunaan teknologi digital, peserta diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam mengakses sumber belajar, mengelola administrasi secara digital, serta memanfaatkan media sosial untuk promosi pesantren. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan penggunaan teknologi oleh 75% peserta, yang membantu mengurangi ketakutan terhadap teknologi (technophobia) serta meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan pembelajaran di pesantren.
