Abstract

Pembelajaran Fisika mengalami banyak masalah karena sifat materinya yang kompleks sehingga sulit dalam melatih kemandirian siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran Self-directed learning (SDL) dalam membangun kemandirian belajar untuk mengoptimalkan hasil belajar siswa.  Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan desain pre-posttest control group design, dengan melibatkan 53 orang siswa yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok.  Kelompok eksperimen diberi penerapan pembelajaran SDL dan kontrol dengan konvensional. 16 item instrumen pilihan ganda digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan analisis uji-tα=0,05  diperoleh nilai sig. sebesar 0,001. Hasil ini menunjukan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pembelajaran SDL terhadap ketercapaian hasil belajar siswa. SDL dapat memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengoptimalkan hasil belajar fisika dan dapat melatih kemandirian belajar siswa dalam membangun pemahaman konsep fisika pada materi Gerak Melingkar.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah plays a vital role in shaping the future generations of Indonesia, especially in fostering academic excellence and religious values. However, in Jambi Province, the commitment of madrasah committees to support the programs of Madrasah Aliyah has been hindered by various challenges, such as limited participation, a lack of synergy with school principals, and minimal innovation in communication patterns. This study explores how the leadership behavior of madrasah principals can influence the commitment of committees in Jambi Province. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling, involving principals, committee members, and teachers. Data was collected through interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings show that principals who engage committees in decision-making, encourage open communication, and integrate religious values into their leadership behavior are more successful in enhancing committee commitment. This study contributes to the development of leadership models that incorporate local culture and Islamic values, offering practical guidance for madrasah principals to foster better collaboration and management.

Abstract

This research examines the commitment of foundations in enhancing the individual well-being of Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMPIT) teachers in Jambi Province. The study explores multifaceted strategies, including financial stability, professional growth opportunities, and socio-cultural support, aimed at improving the quality of life and job satisfaction for teachers. Drawing upon Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory and Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, the research emphasizes the importance of addressing both intrinsic and extrinsic factors in fostering teacher well-being. The findings reveal that a comprehensive and collaborative approach by foundations significantly impacts teacher motivation and performance, contributing to the sustainability of education development in Islamic schools. The study provides practical insights and recommendations for policymakers and educational stakeholders to further enhance teacher welfare systems.

Abstract

Community Service (PKM) with the theme “Innovations in Community Service: Updating Google Maps Data for the Promotion of UMKM and Social Facilities” is motivated by the rapid development of information technology, particularly geospatial information systems such as Google Maps, which significantly support various community activities, including spatial planning, local economic promotion, and improved access to social facilities. The purpose of this service is to update Google Maps data to support the promotion of UMKM and social facilities in the area. This activity involved youth and the general public of Dusun Eka Jaya, using methods such as lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, attended by 30 participants. The approach included providing understanding and explanation of the material, along with socialization and discussion regarding updating Google Maps data. The results showed many inaccuracies in the digital map data, such as incorrect positioning of roads and social facilities. The service team, together with the youth, made corrections and additions to the data, including UMKM locations. Consequently, the digital map became more accurate, and the community increasingly understood how to independently update data and utilize Google Maps in daily activities, including online shopping transactions. This activity provided technical, social, and economic benefits to the community of Dusun Eka Jaya, Kecamatan Dendang, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Province of Jambi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji psikologi pendidikan, kecerdasan manajemen, dan penerapan teknologi informasi komunikasi, khususnya kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI), dalam manajemen pendidikan. Melalui pendekatan studi kepustakaan, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bagaimana sinergi antara psikologi, kecerdasan manajemen, dan teknologi dapat menciptakan sistem pendidikan yang lebih adaptif, inklusif, dan inovatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan holistik yang memadukan aspek manusiawi dan teknologi mampu meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara signifikan. Temuan kajian ini terbagi menjadi tiga fokus utama. Pertama, psikologi manajemen dalam pendidikan, yang membahas peran aspek psikologis dalam pengelolaan pendidikan, termasuk strategi pengambilan keputusan, komunikasi interpersonal, dan kepemimpinan yang mendukung lingkungan pembelajaran yang produktif. Kedua, kecerdasan dalam manajemen pendidikan, yang mengupas tentang implementasi prinsip-prinsip kecerdasan, seperti pemecahan masalah, adaptabilitas, dan inovasi dalam konteks pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan. Ketiga, integrasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, khususnya teknologi berbasis AI, dalam pendidikan, yang meliputi pemanfaatan AI untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran, analisis data pendidikan, hingga peningkatan efisiensi administratif.Temuan ini menawarkan perspektif baru bagi para pendidik, manajer pendidikan, dan pembuat kebijakan untuk mengoptimalkan sumber daya manusia dan teknologi dalam menjawab tantangan pendidikan di era digital.

Abstract

This journal aims to examine the historical events or relics that developed in the Senamat Ulu Village, Bathin III Ulu Sub-district, Muaro Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. This article uses historical methods by library research, including archival studies, observations and interviews with related sources. Departing. From the history, uses with make sense and conscience things to know the history around us, the existence of the Batu Patah Sembilan historical become the tools to tell the importance of the presence of this site in the birth of civilization on Earth "Langkah Serentak Limbai Seayun". With the preservation of the existing historical sites, it will be able to provide many benefits to various aspects of people's lives in the Ulu Senate as well as identification of that village. A historical relic from the Great Stone Age (Megalithic) to this day can still be able to know by its history and existence, and also about the historical stories that have developed in the civilization of society from generation to generation.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tema “Sosialisasi Pencegahan Judi Online terhadap Remaja di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 4 Tanjung Jabung Timur” dilatarbelakangi oleh maraknya perjudian online yang dapat merusak generasi muda penerus bangsa. Tingginya peminat judi online yang melanda generasi muda saat ini mendorong Tim Pengabdian untuk melakukan sosialisasi pencegahan judi online yang diselenggarakan di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 4 Tanjung Jabung Timur. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran peserta didik dalam menanggulangi judi online di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 4 Tanjung Jabung Timur. Pada kegiatan sosialisasi ini, metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Sosialisasi ini dihadiri oleh 50 peserta didik. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah memberikan pemahaman dan penjelasan materi serta mengajak peserta dalam kegiatan sosialisasi untuk berdiskusi mengenai pencegahan judi online di kalangan remaja. Hasil dari sosialisasi yang diselenggarakan oleh Tim Pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan tersebut telah terlaksana dengan baik. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui keterlibatan aktif peserta dalam mengikuti sosialisasi, termasuk partisipasi mereka dalam diskusi dan sesi tanya jawab setelah penyampaian materi oleh Tim Pengabdian.
