Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi adalah pendekatan strategis dalam dunia pendidikan yang dirancang untuk memastikan peserta didik mencapai kompetensi tertentu melalui proses belajar yang aktif, relevan, dan kontekstual. Pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi tidak hanya menekankan penguasaan materi teoretis, tetapi juga pengembangan keterampilan praktis dan sikap positif yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia nyata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui studi literatur untuk menganalisis strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam implementasi Pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi berorientasi pada penguasaan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap yang dirancang secara terintegrasi dengan standar kompetensi yang jelas dan terukur. Pendekatan ini meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui kegiatan yang dirancang agar bermakna bagi peserta didik. Meskipun memiliki banyak keunggulan, seperti fokus pada hasil yang jelas dan pengembangan keterampilan praktis, Pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi menghadapi tantangan dalam hal pelatihan guru, pengelolaan administrasi, dan evaluasi pembelajaran yang kompleks. Dengan implementasi yang tepat, Pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi dapat meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan mempersiapkan peserta didik menghadapi perubahan global secara efektif.

Abstract

The success of the learning process is largely determined by the teacher's ability to deliver material and use learning media. Good learning media depends on the availability of facilities and infrastructure in schools, teacher creativity, teacher capacity building, and funding support in making learning media. This study aims to analyze (1) The use of learning media at SD Negeri Bangunjiwo, (2) The obstacles faced by teachers and students during learning using learning media. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using interview and observation data collection techniques. Respondents in this study were the Principal, Low Grade Teacher and Low Grade Students. The results showed that (1) teachers prepare learning media tailored to students' learning styles, (2) obstacles faced when using media are funds, facilities and infrastructure that are less supportive, and different students' knowledge related to learning media. The conclusion of the research is that the use of learning media is proven to improve student learning outcomes. Support from external school parties is needed in providing learning media that can maximize learning activities at school.

Abstract

Sugar palm (Arenga pinnata Merr.) is a plantation commodity that is very beneficial ecologically and financially because it can adapt to various geographical conditions such as mountains, valleys, riverbanks, and undulating land. However, the development of this plant is still constrained by low cultivation intensification, unstructured planting patterns, and optimal land use, resulting in low productivity. Increasing the productivity of sugar palm plants can be achieved through intensive cultivation. The purpose of this study was to study how chicken manure and NPKMg fertilizer affect the growth of sugar palm plants and determine the best fertilizer dosage. The study was conducted in February-May at the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Andalas University at an altitude of ±250 meters above sea level. The method used was a 4x3 factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK), consisting of three replications with a total of 36 experimental units. The first factor was the dose of chicken manure (5 kg, 10 kg, 15 kg, and 20 kg) and the second factor was the dose of NPKMg fertilizer (20 g, 30 g, and 40 g). The data were analyzed using the F test at the 5% level, followed by the DNMRT test. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between the provision of chicken manure and NPKMg fertilizer on the growth of sugar palm plants. In addition, both types of fertilizers did not have a significant impact on plant growth, so the optimal dose could not be determined.

Abstract

Purpose of the research was to describe the result of VIII Grade Students' Science Literacy Skills analysis in Junior High School in Padang. It was a descriptive research. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique. Techniques of data collection used valid and reliable science literacy test and interview with students and teachers. Technique of data analysis was by calculating average score of students' science literacy test. To test data validity, it used triangulation technique. The finding shows that VIII grade students' science literacy skill in SMPN 1 Padang based on total score, basic competence and science competence has the highest average score with low category. Then, it is followed by VIII grade students' science literacy skill in SMPN Ar-risalah Padang and SMP Manjushri Padang with low category. In conclusion, VIII grade students' science literacy skill in Junior High School in Padang is in low category.
