Abstract

Latar Belakang : Diabetes merupakan penyakit yang ditandai dengan tingginya kadar gula darah yang disebabkan oleh rusaknya sel beta pankreas (pabrik penghasil insulin). Akibat dari tingginya kadar gula (hiperglikemia) tersebut yaitu terganggunya metabolisme lemak dan protein. Gangguan metabolisme tersebut dikarenakan hilangnya fungsi insulin yang menyebabkan terjadinya pemecahan trigliserida dan mobilisasi asam lemak dari penyimpanannya. Pada kondisi diabetes, proses re-esterifikasi mengalami gangguan sehingga terjadi peningkatan kadar trigliserida dalam darah. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui korelasi antara glukosa darah dengan kadar trigliserida pada penderita diabetes mellitus. Metode : Penelitian ini bersifat observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian sekunder yang mengambil data pasien diabetes dari rekam medis dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 30 pasien. Data di olah menggunakan uji statistik korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil Penelitian : Rerata kadar glukosa darah pada penderita diabetes 270,9 mg/dL dan kadar trigliserida darah sebesar 196,3 mg/dL. Berdasarkan analisis uji rank spearman, didapatkan bahwa nilai p = 0,000 < 0,005 dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (nilai r) sebesar -0,601.. Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan tak searah antara kadar glukosa darah dengan kadar trigliserida pada penderita diabetes mellitus. Kata Kunci : Diabetes Mellitus, Glukosa Darah, Trigliserida

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus adalah kelompok penyakit metabolik yang ditandai oleh peningkatan kadar glukosa darah (hiperglikemia), akibat gangguan sekresi atau kerja insulin, atau keduanya. Jumlah penderita diabetes terus meningkat, termasuk di kalangan anak-anak. Komplikasi diabetes meningkatkan risiko infeksi, salah satunya kandidiasis. Pada wanita, tingginya kadar gula dalam urine dan vagina menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pertumbuhan jamur Candida. Kandidiasis merupakan infeksi jamur akut atau subakut yang dapat menyerang mulut, vagina, kulit, kuku, hingga paru-paru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh glukosuria dan proteinuria terhadap kejadian kandidiasis pada wanita dengan Diabetes Mellitus di Puskesmas Wajageseng. Penelitian ini bersifat observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional, menggunakan data primer berupa pemeriksaan urin. Sampel diambil dengan teknik total sampling, sebanyak 30 wanita penderita diabetes yang diperiksa glukosuria, proteinuria, dan infeksi kandida pada periode September 2023 – Maret 2024. Hasil menunjukkan 20 sampel positif glukosuria, dan 3 di antaranya juga positif kandidiasis (1 dari glukosuria positif 2, dan 2 dari glukosuria positif 3). Semua sampel negatif proteinuria. Uji Chi-square menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 (? 0,05), yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara glukosuria dan kejadian kandidiasis. Dengan demikian, glukosuria berpengaruh terhadap kejadian kandidiasis pada wanita dengan Diabetes Mellitus di Puskesmas Wajageseng.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Kutu kepala (Pediculus humanus capitis) merupakan suatu ektoparasit obligat penghisap darah yang terdapat pada rambut atau kepala manusia. Penggunaan bahan kimia memiliki dampak buruk bagi kesehatan manusia apabila digunakan secara tidak tepat. Oleh karena itu dibuat bahan alami pembasmi kutu kepala yaitu kombinasi filtrat daun pepaya (Carica papaya) dan daun kemangi (Ocimum sanctum) yang mudah ditemukan di masyarakat. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui efektivitas kombinasi filtrat daun pepaya (Carica papaya) dan daun kemangi (Ocimum sanctum) terhadap daya bunuh kutu kepala (Pediculus humanus capitis). Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat quasi eksperiment dengan desain penelitian post test only control group desain. Populasi dan sampel adalah kutu kepala (Pediculus humanus capitis). Jumlah unit percobaan 27 (3 perlakuan dengan 9 kali replikasi) masing-masing petridish menggunakan 5 ekor kutu rambut sehingga jumlah sampel yang dibutuhkan adalah 135 ekor. Perlakuan menggunakan kombinasi filtrat daun pepaya (Carica papaya) dan daun kemangi (Ocimum sanctum) dengan perbandingan konsentrasi 30%:70%, 50%:50%, dan 70%:30% selama 60 menit serta kontrol negatif aquadest. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian di analisis menggunakan uji Kruskal-wallis. Hasil penelitian: Didapatkan kematian kutu kepala kombinasi filtrat daun pepaya (Carica papaya) dan daun kemangi (Ocimum sanctum) perbandingan konsentrasi 30%:70% dengan persentase kematian sebesar 48%, kombinasi filtrat daun pepaya (Carica papaya) dan daun kemangi (Ocimum sanctum) perbandingan konsentrasi 50%:50% dengan persentase kematian sebesar 62%, dan kombinasi filtrat daun pepaya (Carica papaya) dan daun kemangi (Ocimum sanctum) perbandingan konsentrasi 70%:30% dengan persentase kematian sebesar 80%. Kesimpulan: Kombinasi filtrat daun pepaya (Carica papaya) dan daun kemangi (Ocimum sanctum) efektif terhadap daya bunuh kutu kepala (Pediculus humanus capitis) dengan nilai signifikan p = 0,000 < α =0,05. Kata kunci: Kematian, Filtrat, Alami, Daun Pepaya, Daun Kemangi, Kutu Kepala.

Abstract

Background: Packed Red Cell (PRC) is the most widely used blood component in transfusion. In general, PRC is used for patients with anemia that is not accompanied by a decrease in blood volume, such as patients with hemolytic, acute leukemia, chronic leukemia, thalassemia, and chronic renal failure. The quality of the PRC component is done by checking the hemoglobin and hematocrit levels in the blood component products produced. In transfused blood storage there are elements of blood storage lesions including: morphological changes, slowing metabolism with decreased adenosine triphosphate (ATP) concentration, acidosis with decreased 2,3 diphosphoglycerate (2,3-DPG) concentration. This will pose a risk to the safety and efficacy of long-stored PRC.. Research Objectives: Knowing the Effect of Blood Storage Duration on the Quality of Packed Red Cell (PRC) Blood in the Blood Transfusion Unit of North Lombok Regency Hospital. Research Methods: This research is a pre-experimen The study population was all PRC blood in the Blood Transfusion Unit of NorthLombok District Hospital. The sample used was PRC blood taken randomly with a total of 24 experimental units. Using primary data and statistically analyzed with Kruskal-Wallis test. The Results: The average hemoglobin level on day 21 storage was 50.3 g/unit, day 28 was 48.8 g/unit, and on day 35 was 47.1 g/unit. The average hematocrit value on day 21 of storage was 65.6%, day 28 was 63.6%, and on day 35 was 61.4%. The results of the PRC blood quality assessment showed that on day 21 storage the blood quality was good, while on day28 and day 35 storage the PRC blood quality was not good. Effect of bloodstorage duration on PRC blood quality (p = 0.000 < α = 0.05). Conclusion: There is an effect of storage duration on the quality of PRC blood.

Abstract

After the earthquake that occurred on the island of Lombok during August 2018 malaria appeared again. The purpose of this study was to determine malaria infection and control of Anopheles sp with Rambutan leaves. The research method uses analytical observation for malaria infection and an experimental with completely randomized design for Anopheles sp. control using natural ingredients, namely rambutan leaves . The population and sample were suspected malaria and Anopheles sp larvae in the working area of ​​the Penimbung Public Health Center in West Lombok District affected by the earthquake. Results of malaria examination studies with RDT/malaria sticks 13% positive for malaria, whereas microscopically 25% positive for malaria. Laboratory test results with rambutan leaf soaking concentrations of 1%, 3%, 6%, 9% and 12% were obtained the higher the concentration the more effective the killing power against larvae of Anopheles sp, with LC50 12.353% and LC90 19.666%. Field test results no larvae in the cupak with the soaking of rambutan leaves. Conclusion, 25% of the population affected by the earthquake were infected with malaria, the most common being plasmodium falciparum, soaking rambutan leaves is effective for controlling Malaria vectors in laboratorium and fields.

Abstract

Tempos Village is one of 11 villages/sub-districts in Gerung District, West Lombok Regency with the highest number of dengue fever cases and some have even died. The number of dengue fever cases in the Gerung Community Health Center working area in 2022 was 43 people with a Larvae Free Rate (ABJ) of 91.1%. The number of dengue fever cases in Tempos village in 2022 is 6 cases with an ABJ of 89%. At the beginning of January 2023, there was 1 case of death in Tempos village. The problem in Tempos village is the lack of knowledge and skills as well as motivation of the target audience, namely Posyandu women and health cadres in Tempos village regarding dengue fever, prevention efforts as well as early treatment of infected residents and vector control with natural ingredients and ABJ < 95%. The solution offered in the implementation of the Community Service (PKM) Community Partnership Program (PKM) for empowering Posyandu in preventing dengue fever in Tempos village in the working area of the Gerung Health Center, West Lombok Regency is with promotive and preventive efforts. The results that have been achieved are the implementation of PKM starting from obtaining permits and observations, socialization and counseling in Tempos village and training at the Gerung Community Health Center. Health cadres can campaign for the use of anti-mosquito plants and larvae-eating fish among mothers at Posyandu. Every Friday village officials together with health cadres and the community carry out 3 M plus activities and the 1 house 1 jumantik movement. To ensure the continuity of the program, anti-mosquito plant seeds have been handed over along with pots, larvae-eating fish seeds and flashlights to be used in larvae surveys to the village which are then handed over to health cadres from Posyandu representatives in each hamlet.
