Abstract

This study discusses the impact of revitalization on traders in the Pagaran market, Pagaran District, North Tapanuli Regency. The research method used is qualitative research. Research data were obtained using interview and documentation techniques. The results of the revitalization show that this market transformation has succeeded in overcoming previous problems. Market cleanliness has increased significantly, existing facilities such as toilets are now better maintained and the construction of new infrastructure has created a more comfortable and safe atmosphere. In addition, the arrangement of sales space and the addition of parking spaces also contribute to increasing the comfort of both buyers and sellers, as well as increasing trader income.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Titi Papan Village, Medan Deli District, and this study aims to determine the performance of the implementation of the Child Identity Card Program. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques sourced from observations, interviews, and documents. The research informants who will provide information in this study are the village head as the key informant, the village employee in the field of government administration as the main informant, and the community who take care of the Child Identity Card as additional informants. The results of the study conducted through in-depth interviews with the village head, government administration employees, and the community, found that the implementation of the policy in making the Child Identity Card (KIA) has been running in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2016 concerning the Child Identity Card (KIA)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Blended Learning system at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan, using a descriptive qualitative approach. Blended Learning, as a hybrid learning model combining face-to-face and online instruction, is considered an adaptive solution to the evolving dynamics of higher education, particularly in response to post-pandemic digital transformation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with lecturers, students, and academic staff, as well as institutional documentation. The findings reveal that while Blended Learning offers flexibility and learning autonomy, its implementation still encounters significant challenges, including limited infrastructure, low digital literacy, and lack of academic interaction in online sessions. Supporting factors include the availability of digital learning materials, flexible learning schedules, and some lecturers' adaptability to technology. However, key obstacles remain, such as unstable internet connections, insufficient training for lecturers, and technological access inequality among students. This research recommends strengthening Blended Learning through regular digital literacy training, the development of user-friendly Learning Management Systems (LMS), and the provision of supportive facilities. Through a holistic approach involving all academic stakeholders, Blended Learning has the potential to evolve into an inclusive, effective, and sustainable learning model.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Analysis of the Role and Function of Village Deliberations Based on Village Law No. 3 of 2024 in Increasing Community Participation in Village Development (Study in Sukandebi Village, Naman Teran District). The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of Village Deliberations (Musdes) in Sukandebi Village, examine their roles and functions as mandated by Village Law No. 3 of 2024, and assess the level of community participation in village development. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research informants consisted of village officials and village residents. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results indicate that the Village Deliberation (Musyawarah Desa) in Sukandebi Village has been held routinely, as mandated by Village Law No. 3 of 2024. The Musdes serves as a forum for community participation, joint decision-making, and a means of developing the Village Work Plan (RKPDes). Musdes decisions influence the priority use of Village Funds, particularly for infrastructure development and community empowerment. However, community participation in the planning and monitoring stages remains limited due to the dominance of village elites, a lack of outreach, and low public legal awareness. Higher participation is seen in the implementation phase, such as mutual cooperation activities. The conclusion of this study is that the Village Deliberation (Musyawarah Desa) in Sukandebi Village has been implemented according to regulations, but is not yet fully inclusive and participatory. Therefore, increased outreach, transparency, and active involvement of various community elements (youth, women, and vulnerable groups) are needed to ensure the Musdes truly becomes a democratic village forum capable of realizing community-driven development.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the influence of leadership, its dynamics and style, along with the work environment and self-efficacy on work motivation. Work motivation can emerge and be maximized if leadership, the work environment, and self-efficacy are implemented effectively. This means that encouraging work motivation at PT. Mitra Karya Lima Sukses requires work motivation. Strong work motivation leads to increased productivity. Therefore, leadership, the work environment, and self-efficacy are the dominant factors in driving work motivation in the company. It can be seen and concluded that a good leadership style and all indicators of excellent leadership significantly improve work motivation

Abstract

Komunikasi politik dan pendidikan politik yang membangun tentu sanagt kita butuhkan agar tercipta, bahkan ini bisa menjadi sebuah gerakan yang menimbulkan stimulus yang sangat baik dalam mensukseskan pemilu 2024. Cita-cita dan harapan kita bersama adalah pemilu 2024 ini bisa menjadi sarana untuk menegakkan kedaulatan rakyat dengan harapakn, out put dan out come nya sangat bagus. Melalui out come dan out put yang sangat bagus ini akan lahir pemimipin yang sangat amanah, visioner, taat hukum, dan berjiwa pelayan yang pada akhirnya akan bisa mendorong dan mewujudkan tujuan negara yang sebagaimana yang tertuang dalam UUD 1945. Untuk itu, komunikasi politik yang sangat baik penting diciptakan oleh semua stakeholder, mulai dari KPU sebagai lembaga penyeelnggara pemilu, Bawaslu sebagai pengawas, partai politik sebagai lembaga yang mencalonkan caleg, dan juga para calon legislatif sebagai partisan langsung untuk merebut kursi DPR RI, DPRD Provinsi, dan juga DPRD Kabupaten dan Kota. Untuk itu, komunikasi politik yang bagus dan membangun harus sesegera mungkin dilakukan mulai dari masyarakat desa, atau kelurahan yang sangat kita harapkan memberikan suaranya di bilik pemilu pada tahun 2024 ini. Inilah yang dilakukan oleh team pengabdian masyarakat FISIPOL UHN Medan pada masyarakat Jalan Sekata di Kelurahan Sei Agul, Kecamatan Medan Barat Kota Medan untuk mendorong komunikasi politik yang bagus dan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Certified Internship and Independent Study (MSIB) Program in improving the work readiness of students at HKBP Nommensen University, Medan. The MSIB program is part of the Independent Campus policy launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) to bridge the gap between the world of education and the world of work. This program is designed to provide practical experience and skill development, both hard skills and soft skills needed in the world of work. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews with key informants (MSIB coordinators) and key informants (students who have participated in the MSIB program), as well as observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by identifying indicators of program effectiveness, namely program monitoring and socialization, target accuracy, achievement of objectives, and understanding of the program. The results of the study indicate that the MSIB program at HKBP Nommensen University Medan has been running well and effectively in improving students' work readiness. This program has succeeded in providing internship and independent study experiences that are relevant to industry needs, as well as developing skills such as communication, teamwork, adaptation, problem solving, and decision making. In addition, the MSIB program has also established close collaboration with various industry partners, which provides benefits for students and industry. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that the MSIB program needs to be continued and developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology because it has proven effective in improving the quality of college graduates and preparing them to enter the workforce. This program also contributes to strengthening the link and match between the world of education and industry, as well as supporting the development of globally competitive human resources.
