Abstract

Abstract The condition of a road segment that meets the technical requirements and administrative requirements indicates that the road segment meets the road function worthiness criteria. This study aims to review the road safety aspect from the results of the road function worthiness test and is carried out using a qualitative method based on the procedures for implementing the road function worthiness test, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works Number 11/PRT/M/2010. The data obtained from the test results and field surveys are processed to obtain roadworthiness categories, with reference to the 6 technical components of the road, namely road geometry, road pavement structures, complementary buildings, road sections, traffic engineering management, and road equipment. The Manado-Tomohon City Boundary National Road was chosen as the object observed in this study. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of road function worthiness and the repairs needed to make the road feasible based on the criteria contained in the Road Functional Worthiness Test. This study shows that the observed road section, namely the Manado City-Tomohon City Boundary road section is included in the conditional function-worthy category, which requires some technical improvements. Technical improvements that must be fulfilled include routine maintenance and procurement of road components that do not yet exist, so that the Manado City-Tomohon City Boundary road can actually become a functional road. Keywords: road; road technical standards; road geometry; road pavement; traffic Abstrak Kondisi suatu ruas jalan yang memenuhi persyaratan teknis dan persyaratan administratif menunjukkan bahwa ruas jalan tersebut memenuhi kriteria laik fungsi jalan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk meninjau aspek keselamatan jalan dari hasil uji laik fungsi jalan dan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif berdasarkan tata cara pelaksanaan uji laik fungsi jalan, sesuai Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Nomor 11/PRT/M/2010. Data yang diperoleh dari hasil uji dan survei lapangan diolah untuk mendapatkan kategori kelaikan jalan, dengan mengacu pada 6 komponen teknis jalan, yaitu geometrik jalan, struktur perkerasan jalan, bangunan pelengkap, bagian jalan, manajemen rekasaya lalu lintas, dan perlengkapan jalan. Ruas Jalan Nasional Batas Kota Manado-Kota Tomohon dipilih sebagai obyek yang dikaji pada penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat kelaikan fungsi jalan serta perbaikan yang diperlukan agar jalan menjadi laik berdasarkan kriteria yang terdapat pada Uji Laik Fungsi Jalan. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa ruas jalan yang diamati, yaitu ruas jalan Batas Kota Manado-Kota Tomohon termasuk dalam kategori laik fungsi bersyarat, yang memerlukan beberapa perbaikan teknis. Perbaikan teknis yang harus dipenuhi meliputi pemeliharaan rutin dan pengadaan komponen jalan yang belum ada, agar ruas jalan Batas Kota Manado-Kota Tomohon benar-benar dapat menjadi jalan yang laik fungsi. Abstract

Cause traffic accidents include human factors, vehicle factors, road factors and the environment. This study aims to analyze the effect of age, income level, and road geometry on the potential for traffic accidents. The research location is in the Talaud Archipelago Regency, North Sulawesi Province. This research uses a quantitative approach by collecting data using a questionnaire distributed to 200 respondents who use two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. The Likert scale measurement method analysis uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) on the Amos 22.00 program The results showed that age does not directly have a significant effect on the potential for accidents of 0.917 but indirectly age has a significant effect on the potential for accidents through the condition of the vehicle with a statistical value of 3.779, the level of income directly has a significant effect on the potential for accidents with a probability value <0.001 and indirectly has a significant effect through vehicle condition Z statistics value of 2.925, road geometry does not directly influence the potential for accidents with a probability value of 0.184, driving behavior does not directly influence the potential for accidents 0.820 and vehicle conditions directly have a significant effect on potential accidents probability value <0.001.

Abstract

Kemacetan yang sering terjadi di ruas Jalan Raya Kawangkoan Tomohon merupakan dampak dari industri kuliner di kawasan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji kinerja ruas jalan yang dapat diukur dari Tingkat Pelayanan (Level of Service) jalan. Dari survei lapangan diperoleh data volume lalu lintas, kecepatan kendaraan dan hambatan samping kemudian dianalisa menggunakan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI 1997). Untuk hasil yang lebih relevan seiring dengan perkembangan ilmu transportasi dilakukan pemodelan mikrosimulasi menggunakan software VISSIM dengan menginput data volume kendaraan dan kecepatan kendaraan pada jam sibuk. Model yang di dapatkan kemudian di kalibrasi pada parameter driving behavior untuk menyesuaikan dengan kondisi eksisting agar dapat mewakili kondisi lapangan. Setelah itu dilakukan validasi model dengan uji statistik Geoffrey E. Havers (GEH) dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Berdasarkan hasil analisa ruas Jalan Raya Kawangkoan-Tomohon dengan metode MKJI Tingkat Pelayanan B, sedangankan dari mikrosimulasi model pada software VISSIM Tingkat Pelayanan A. Artinya ruas jalan Raya Kawangkoan-Tomohon mampu melayani arus lalu lintas yang ada namun untuk kualitas kinerja jalan yang lebih baik diperlukan lahan parkir tambahan, larangan berheti kendaraan di sembarang tempat serta meningkatkan disiplin pejalan kaki. Abstract

Transportation is the foundation of daily life and is vital to a region's economic and social development. Transportation is a crucial aspect of human life, facilitating connections between locations. Mode choice is a critical consideration in transportation planning, influenced by cost, travel time, and comfort factors. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of travelers in Bitung City Regency and the factors influencing their choice of transportation modes in 2024. The research involved distributing an online questionnaire to 200 respondents and gathering data on various latent variables, including Travel Cost, Travel Time, Vehicle Condition, and Comfort Level. The analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SPSS and AMOS software. The study revealed a significant gender disparity among the respondents, with men dominating the demographics at 60%. Most respondents were from the 26–35-year age group (40%), had a private status (35%), and had completed high school or vocational school (35%). Motorbikes were the most common regarding vehicle ownership, with 60% of respondents owning one. The SEM analysis revealed significant factors influencing transportation mode choice. Travel Time (WT) had a negative effect on Comfort Level (TK) and Vehicle Condition (KK), with t-values of -0.684 and -0.895, respectively, indicating that longer travel times reduce comfort and vehicle satisfaction. Vehicle Condition (KK) significantly influenced the preference for Online Transport (TO) and Conventional Ojek (OK) with t-values of 0.597 and 0.278, respectively. Comfort Level (TK) significantly impacted the preference for Public Transport (TU), Conventional Ojek (OK), and Online Transport (TO) with t-values of 0.728, 0.530, and 0.301, respectively. The findings of this research have practical implications, suggesting that enhancing travel time efficiency, vehicle conditions, and overall comfort can significantly influence mode choice preferences. These insights can engage and interest transportation planners, policymakers, and researchers, guiding future transportation planning and policymaking in Bitung City Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi tingkat Walkability jalur pejalan kaki di Jalan Sam Ratulangi Kota Bitung menggunakan metode Pedoman Penentuan Indeks Kelayakan Berjalan (PPIKB) dan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Metode penelitian mencakup pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui survei terhadap 455 responden yang dipilih menggunakan rumus Slovin. Evaluasi mencakup tujuh parameter, yaitu kualitas jalur, fasilitas pendukung, infrastruktur disabilitas, penghalang, penyeberangan, konflik moda, dan keamanan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa lima parameter memiliki kategori "Sangat Baik," satu parameter "Baik," dan satu parameter "Cukup Baik." Rata-rata tingkat pelayanan jalur pejalan kaki mencapai kategori A menurut HCM 2000, menunjukkan kelancaran arus pejalan kaki dengan kecepatan rata-rata 58,984 m/menit dan kepadatan 2,406 orang/m². Analisis IPA mengidentifikasi beberapa aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan, seperti ketersediaan fasilitas pendukung dan penyeberangan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya peningkatan fasilitas pejalan kaki guna mendukung kenyamanan, keselamatan, dan efisiensi transportasi ramah lingkungan. Untuk meningkatkan Walkability, direkomendasikan penambahan kanopi, penerangan, tempat duduk, dan pelandaian pada zona penyeberangan. Pemantauan dan evaluasi berkala juga disarankan guna memastikan peningkatan kualitas layanan jalur pejalan kaki dan memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan infrastruktur perkotaan yang lebih ramah pejalan kaki di Kota Bitung.

Abstract

Tomohon City is city in the province of North Sulawesi, Indonesia, which is enclave from Regency Minahasa with amount sufficient school? many . Some schools located on the edge road main , where vehicles passing by with speed very dangerous height for children the school that will cross way to go or when going home from school. Children are often careless and spontaneous, so they have the potential to become victims of traffic accidents. Evaluation of the implementation of the School Safe Zone (ZoSS) needs to be carried out, so that the behavior of pedestrians and drop-off behavior can be known, whether they have behaved safely or not. Then we can draw conclusions whether the School Safe Zone has been effective in its implementation or not. SD Negeri 2 Tomohon and SD Lentera Harapan Tomohon are located on the edge of the main road so they were chosen as research locations because in front of these two schools there is a School Safe Zone (ZoSS) that needs to be evaluated. These two School Safe Zones will be evaluated based on the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation Number 3582 / AJ.403 / DRDJ / 20018. The research was conducted for 3 days at each location, and was carried out directly including data on the completeness of School Safe Zone (ZoSS) facilities, data on pedestrian behavior and data on drop-off behavior. Speed data and volume data were taken based on references to the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) which will then be processed to obtain the level of service of the road sections studied. From this study, the data on pedestrian and usher behavior in both research locations can be stated as “not yet safe” with Zcount > Ztable. Based on the results of the service level analysis for the Jl. Sam Ratulangi section (SD Negeri 2 Tomohon), the capacity was obtained 3376 smp/hour, the peak hour volume ranged from 374 smp/hour – 788 smp/hour with a service level of service level B during peak hours. While for the Jl. Makmur section (SD Lentera Harapan Tomohon), the capacity was obtained 3440 smp/hour, the peak hour volume ranged from 705 smp/hour – 985 smp/hour with a service level C during peak hours. Therefore, it is necessary for schools to pay attention to educate students about safety in crossing the road, and for the government, especially the Tomohon city transportation agency, to socialize the intent and purpose of implementing the School Safe Zone (ZoSS) for other road users in order to create comfort and safety for road users

Abstract

Consequently, the activities that develop as a result of the formation of activity/land use centers such as government administration centers, residential areas, schools, hospitals, entertainment facilities, shopping centers, tourism accommodation centers, causes huge movement generation which affects the existing transportation systems. It can be concluded that the resulting travel time will decrease with a large enough passenger carrying capacity. The recommended form is the type of LRT (Light Rail Transit) with rail-based technology. The method used in this research is literature study, primary data collection in the form of household interview surveys, and secondary data collected from several related institutions. The survey results were analyzed with the help of Microsoft Office Excel and modeling using a linear regression equation with the independent variables measured, namely family composition (X1), number of working members (X2), number of members attending school (X3), number of members working and attending school (X4), vehicle ownership (X5), family income (X6), and the dependent variable (Y) as the number of family movements per day. The modeling results obtained the best equation, namely Y=1.394+0.888X1 and the Determinant Coefficient (R²) value obtained was 0.824 or 82.4%. LRT (Light Rail Transit) line concept with the starting point of the Station Zero Point Manado - Paal Dua Station 1 - Paal Dua Station 2 - Manado-Bitung Toll Gate Station - Manado-North Minahasa Station - Mapanget Station - Sam Ratulangi International Airport Station with a total of 7 stations and 6 segments and a total length of 15,400 meters.

Abstract

The choice of transportation mode is one of the crucial aspects in urban transportation planning and development. Manado City as the economic and administrative center of North Sulawesi has experienced an increase in population and economic activity, which has an impact on transportation demand. This study aims to identify the characteristics of passengers in choosing transportation modes in Manado and to determine the factors that influence the choice of transportation modes. This research uses quantitative research methods. The results of the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) test show the factors that influence the choice of transportation modes in Manado, namely travel costs, distance travel, and ease of access to modes. The CR value of travel costs to vehicle conditions is 7.456, the CR value of distance traveled to ease of access is 9.682, and the CR value of ease of access to online transportation is 4.654, conventional transportation is 8.282, and private vehicles is 7.365.
