Abstract

The need for small games is still a severe concern for PJOK SD teachers in the Rambang Kapak Tengah subdistrict, considering that the problems faced by students in the current technological era impact the poor quality of students’ motor skills. Small games play a crucial role in physical education as they allow students to develop various skills in a fun and engaging way. These games help improve physical fitness and promote teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking. By incorporating small games into physical education classes, teachers can create a dynamic learning environment that motivates students to participate actively and develop a lifelong love for physical activity. This research aims to determine the development of small games for valid and practical motor skills for Prabumulih City elementary school students. This research is an RnD research with an ADDIE research design. Field trials were conducted on students at SDN 62 in the Rambang Kapak Tengah subdistrict. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out based on percentage analysis. This research produced ten types of small games for students’ motor skills. These games include the Jaripapat game, the popular game, the Ringkup game, the Lakar game, the lontang game, the Keder game, the Umkap game, the Lekar game, the Lorung game and the Lodeng game.

Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran terdapat komponen-komponen yang terlihat dan dikelompokkan pada guru, materi ajar dan siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah pengembangan pembelajaran passing atas bola voli yang valid untuk siswa SD kota Palembang. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian research and development (R&D) atau istilah dalam bahasa Indonesia merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Pendekatan pengembangan yang peneliti gunakan adalah pendekatan ADDIE, dimana pendekatan ADDIE adalah pendekatan yang terdiri dari lima tahapan penelitian diantaranya Anilisis (Analyze), Desain (Design), Pengembangan (Development), Uji Coba Penerapan (Implementation) dan Evaluasi (Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SD Islam Az-Zahrah yang diwakili oleh kelas V untuk uji coba lapangan atau implementasi produk pengembangan pembelajaran passing atas bola voli. Hasil dari observasi yang peneliti lakukan bahwasannya pembelajaran yang dilakukan di sekolah tersebut masih menggunakan metode konvensional dimana guru hanya menjelaskan kemudian peserta didik diberikan bola untuk melakukan praktik secara mandiri. Adapun subjek uji coba berjumlah 25 orang siswa. Berdasarkan data yang peneliti temukan melaluli kegiatan observasi dilingkungan SD Kota Palembang, peneliti menggali informasi bahwa lingkungan SD Kota Palembang masih sangat membutuhkan banyak permainan-permainan yang dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran penjas.

Abstract

The problem in this research departs from the students' need for games in learning to run short distances. The aim of the research was to find out the development of a game on short distance running material that is valid and practical for fifth grade elementary school students. The research method is a research and development method with the ADDIE stage model consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Product validity involves game experts, learning experts and media experts. The practicality test used fifth grade students at SD Negeri 85 Prabumulih. Data is collected through a questionnaire. Data analysis using percentage analysis. The results of the study stated that the small game model on distance running material for fifth grade elementary school students was valid to use because the average validation value was 90.06. The small game model on distance running material for fifth grade students of the Practical Elementary School is used because the user's perception value is 82.63%. In conclusion, the practicality of the product from 22 students using the small game model product on short-distance running material for elementary school students was stated to be practically used by students as a game medium.
