Abstract

In vocational high schools focusing on academic science, students can learn religion through the tahfidz program. They can memorize the Al-Qur'an correctly with a systematic and focused program. This study aims to determine the implementation of the program and the improvement of students' memorization of the Al-Qur'an. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects of the study included the principal, deputy principal of ISMUBA, students, and religious teachers at Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang Vocational High School. Data were taken from the results of observations, interviews, and documentation. This study shows that the implementation of the tahfidz Al-Qur'an program is routinely carried out at the beginning of the first lesson after praying together and continued with a seven-minute lecture (kultum). This helps them memorize and understand the meaning of the contents of the verses of the Al-Qur'an. In addition, there is a follow-up in the form of mentoring, which is carried out after school hours are finished every week and is routinely mentored by ISMUBA teachers. Although this study is limited to one locus, it provides a theoretical contribution to learning the Al-Qur'an in vocational high schools in improving literacy and memorization of the Al-Qur'an through the tahfidh program.

Abstract

The focus of this research is on the important role of psychology in shaping the care and education of children with special needs. In parenting, family psychology and the personality of children with special needs prove themselves to be critical elements in creating a positive environment. On the educational side, developmental psychology for children with special needs guides educators in designing appropriate learning approaches, while inclusive education, with a focus on inclusive psychology, increases the accessibility and success of learning. Psychological challenges, such as stigma and emotional stress, faced by parents and educators are also highlighted. Psychological strategies such as counselling, group support, and training have proven effective in overcoming these challenges. In conclusion, this article highlights the importance of integrating psychology in the context of care and education of children with special needs to create an inclusive environment that supports the optimal development of these children

Abstract

Pendidikan musik sangat penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini, meningkatkan keterampilan kognitif, pemerolehan bahasa, kemampuan motorik, dan kreativitas. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan lagu-lagu naratif yang terinspirasi oleh kisah-kisah bergambar Islami untuk memperkaya pendidikan taman kanak-kanak. Dengan menggunakan model 4D—mendefinisikan, merancang, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan—dan evaluasi formatif Tessmer , penelitian ini menyelidiki secara menyeluruh penciptaan dan penilaian lagu-lagu edukatif ini. Prosesnya dimulai dengan analisis kebutuhan untuk mengidentifikasi elemen-elemen kunci kisah-kisah Islami yang cocok untuk pelajar muda. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan desain produk, di mana lagu-lagu naratif diciptakan dengan masukan dari para ahli pendidikan. Tahapan evaluasi meliputi evaluasi diri, tinjauan ahli, penilaian individu dengan tiga anak, dan evaluasi kelompok kecil yang melibatkan sembilan anak. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi panduan, observasi, dan daftar periksa terstruktur untuk memastikan analisis yang komprehensif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa lagu-lagu tersebut tidak hanya valid dan praktis tetapi juga secara efektif mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islami, mendorong perkembangan bahasa dan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menyoroti manfaat menggabungkan pembelajaran auditori dengan penceritaan budaya, yang menyarankan pendekatan yang berharga bagi para pendidik yang ingin memasukkan konten keagamaan ke dalam kurikulum anak usia dini. Penelitian di masa mendatang dapat mengeksplorasi penerapan metode ini yang lebih luas di berbagai lingkungan pendidikan

Abstract

Sexual violence in pesantren remains a pressing concern despite the implementation of national child protection policies. This study developed a strategic model of a child-friendly pesantren climate to prevent sexual violence by integrating institutional, cultural, and relational dimensions. Using a qualitative multiple-case study design, data were collected from 15 pesantren in West Java, Jakarta, and Banten through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and non-participatory observations to ensure credibility and depth. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman’s interactive model—comprising data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing—supported by NVivo 12 for thematic coding. The findings revealed that preventing sexual violence cannot rely solely on written policies and staff training. It also required cultural mediation that translates formal rules into daily practices and an alliance between staff and families that reconceptualizes institutional capacity as a shared relational commitment. These mechanisms, together with institutional child protection policies, inclusive pedagogy, physical and psychological safety, student agency, and parental involvement, formed a comprehensive model for cultivating a child-friendly pesantren climate. This model advanced theoretical discourse by reframing the hidden curriculum as a vehicle for safeguarding and by positioning family involvement as integral to institutional competence, while offering a practical roadmap for policymakers and practitioners to strengthen child protection in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the availability and use of Educational Game Tools (APE) in the center of religious moral development in Early Childhood Education Institution (PAUD) in Indonesia. The data used comes from the 2022 National APE Availability Dapodik system, which records information related to the availability of APE in various provinces. The findings show that APE that focuses on morals and religion (Imtaq) has a lower level of availability compared to other types of APE, with significant differences between regions. Central Java Province recorded the highest number of Imtaq APE, while provinces such as Gorontalo, Riau Islands, Maluku, and Southeast Sulawesi showed very limited availability. In addition, the results of the study showed that private kindergartens tend to have more Imtaq APE than public kindergartens, indicating different priorities in the procurement of learning tools. Various challenges, including teachers' lack of understanding of the use of APE in religious learning, limited school budgets, and the lack of policies supporting the procurement of APE based on morals and religion, were identified in this study. Although APE has a crucial role in learning religious values ​​from an early age, its availability still needs to be improved. Therefore, this study recommends policy support, training for teachers, and innovation in the development of APE Imtaq to improve the effectiveness of religious moral learning for early childhood in Indonesia

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the development of teaching materials, and the level of feasibility of using technology-based teaching materials in learning Islamic Religious Education. This research is a type of research and development (Research and Development). By using the four-D (4-D) model developed by Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The results of this study, according to media and material experts, show that the teaching materials developed have very feasible criteria with an average score of 4.65, both according to media experts and material experts based on their aspect assessment. Meanwhile, according to students' responses, they have an average score of 4.25 with very decent teaching material assessment criteria. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengembangan bahan ajar, dan tingkat kelayakan penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis teknologi dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Dengan menggunakan model four-D (4-D) yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Hasil penelitian ini, menurut ahli media dan ahli materi, menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki kriteria sangat layak dengan skor rata-rata 4,65, baik menurut ahli media maupun ahli materi berdasarkan aspek penilaian mereka. Sementara itu, menurut respon siswa, bahan ajar tersebut memiliki skor rata-rata 4,25 dengan kriteria penilaian bahan ajar yang sangat layak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas “Model E-RAISE” dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA di SMP Yayasan Assyfa Learning Center (YALC) Pasuruan dengan mengintegrasikan tantangan sains dengan nilai-nilai budaya lokal Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran komprehensif yang menggabungkan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif, sehingga memberikan gambaran yang kuat dan dapat diandalkan. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 21 siswa kelas VII dari YALC dan siswa dari sekolah lain di daerah berbeda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei dengan skala likert, tes hasil belajar IPA terstandar, observasi kelas, dan wawancara mendalam terhadap siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar IPA siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari 71,16 pada Siklus I menjadi 89,93 pada Siklus II. Integrasi kearifan lokal terbukti membantu siswa menghubungkan konsep ilmiah dengan konteks budayanya, sehingga meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan mereka dalam belajar. Analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dan analisis data wawancara dan observasi kualitatif menegaskan bahwa Model E-RAISE berkhasiat dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam sains. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam bidang pendidikan dengan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan yang menggabungkan tantangan ilmiah dan nilai-nilai budaya dapat meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya inovasi pendidikan yang kontekstual dan relevan untuk meningkatkan literasi sains dan lingkungan belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi guru dan pendidik untuk mengembangkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan bermakna.

Abstract

This study explores the transformative orientation of the Jabalul Hikmah Curriculum as an emerging model for re-envisioning Islamic higher learning in Indonesia. Amid global demands for integrative, future-oriented educational systems, Islamic universities face the challenge of reconstructing their curriculum to remain intellectually relevant and socially impactful. The purpose of this article is to analyse how the Jabalul Hikmah Curriculum offers a transdisciplinary framework for global innovation, positioning it as a significant contribution to contemporary Islamic higher education discourse. A qualitative–phenomenological approach was employed, combining content analysis with field-based inquiry. Data were collected from key stakeholders at UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto and triangulated with insights from UIN Maliki Malang, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta as comparative benchmarks. The analytical procedures followed a systematic approach to data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. The study adopts Evelina M. Vicencio’s curriculum development framework, which consists of designing, planning, implementing, and evaluating. The findings reveal that the Jabalul Hikmah Curriculum represents a substantive curricular innovation, integrating Islamic epistemology, human development, and contemporary scientific paradigms within a unified architecture. Its alignment with the national Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy demonstrates both relevance and adaptability. The study’s implications highlight the curriculum’s potential to serve as a global model for Islamic higher education reform, offering a replicable pathway toward holistic, future-ready intellectual formation.
