Abstract

Desa Kertaraharja, Kecamatan Cikembar, Kabupaten Sukabumi, memiliki potensi besar di bidang produk olahan, khususnya di bidang makanan ringan tradisional yang dikenal sebagai brondong. Sebagai salah satu cemilan khas Indonesia, brondong memiliki potensi untuk ditransformasikan menjadi produk premium yang mampu bersaing secara efektif dalam pasar yang kompetitif. Meskipun demikian, banyak UMKM yang terletak di daerah ini terus menghadapi hambatan yang berkaitan dengan packaging, yang merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing di era globalisasi kontemporer. Penerapan packaging yang menarik dan fungsional dapat menghasilkan pengalaman khas bagi konsumen dan menumbuhkan loyalitas pelanggan yang bertahan lama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada pemilik UMKM mengenai inovasi dalam packaging produk, sehingga memastikan bahwa barang-barang manufaktur mencapai permintaan konsumen yang signifikan. Metode pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat di Desa Kertaraharja adalah wawancara tatap muka serta pendampingan dan pelatihan dalam melakukan pengembangan packaging dan pelabelan pada produk.

Abstract

Community empowerment based on product quality as a form of community service. The method used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and a participatory approach is used in this activity through counseling using lectures, mentoring, instruction, question and answer, discussion, simulation and practice methods. Activities carried out include: transfer of financial management knowledge; transfer of packaging knowledge; various marketing models; transfer of quality and production capacity of nutmeg as well as providing motivation and utilizing business opportunities and financial management information. This community service program is a form of implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education for Djuanda University with the work results of lecturers being used by the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the level of performance and importance of product quality in order to design a marketing strategy for Nutmeg Juice Products. The research population consists of consumers of nutmeg juice products, with a sample size of 75 respondents. This study uses Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the study show that consumer expectations of nutmeg juice products focus on the uniqueness of the logo, attractive product appearance, and the accuracy of the flavour description on the packaging. Meanwhile, consumers perceive the product performance to be good in terms of ease of storage, health benefits, and long shelf life. Based on IPA analysis, it was found that the three product quality indicators that are the top priorities for improvement are performance, reliability, and quality of conformance. These three indicators are considered very important by consumers, but their performance still does not meet expectations. To achieve an effective marketing strategy, manufacturers can make efforts to improve ease of maintenance, product uniqueness, and aesthetics.
