Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis 1) prinsip Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, sepuluh ciri/indikator iman dan akhlak, 2) prinsip Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (studi hadits sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak), 3) penerapan sepuluh ciri/ indikator iman dan akhlak dalam Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian berbasis kepustakaan, dengan tahapan penelitian 1) mengumpulkan bahan penelitian, 2) membaca bahan kepustakaan, 3) membuat catatan penelitian, 4) mengolah catatan penelitian, dan 5) membuat kesimpulan. Studi hadits yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah menampilkan 1) sepuluh teks hadits dan sanad hadits yang berhubungan dengan sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak, 2) terjemah hadits, 3) biografi singkat sanad/ perawi hadits, 4) analisa hadits, dan 5) implementasi hadits dalam Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Adapun subyek penelitian dalam artikel ini adalah studi hadits sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak sebagai salah satu prinsip Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Hasil utama penelitian adalah 1) sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak merupakan prinsip dasar dan utama dalam menjalankan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam 2) dalam kajian hadits, sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak telah dipesankan oleh Rasulullah SAW kepada para sahabat dan umatnya. Semua menjadi dasar untuk mewujudkan kehidupan yang harmoni, terkhusus dalam menjalankan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, 3) dalam Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak merupakan konsep-konsep yang memegang peran penting dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku siswa yang positif. Oleh karena itu, penerapannya harus dilakukan secara bersama-sama oleh stake holder.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of technology-based supervision in improving teacher competence and professionalism in the digital era. The case study was conducted in five Private Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTsS) in Gresik Regency, using a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic techniques. The results showed that technology-based supervision, through platforms such as Google Classroom, Zoom, and WhatsApp, had a positive impact on teacher performance and professionalism. In the performance aspect, there was an increase in online classroom management skills, preparation of digital-based lesson plans, and student evaluation. Meanwhile, in terms of professionalism, teachers showed high enthusiasm for developing technological skills, exploring new learning methods, and adapting to technological demands. Constraints include limited internet access, lack of technology training and limited devices. However, opportunities in the form of principal support, allocation of special funds, and adequate infrastructure enable the optimization of technology-based supervision. This study supports the literature which states that the use of technology in supervision improves the quality of teaching and professional interactions. In conclusion, technology-based supervision plays an important role in meeting the needs of education in the digital era and provides solutions to the challenges of supe.

Abstract

Technological advances in the Society 5.0 era demand innovation in the implementation of educational supervision to make it more adaptive and sustainable. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Virtual Coaching as an innovative supervision model in improving teacher competency. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method, chosen to gain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of Virtual Coaching in a real-world context. The research location was selected at MTs. Kanjeng Sepuh Sidayu Gresik because this madrasah has implemented technology-based supervision and demonstrated institutional readiness in developing teacher competency digitally. The study was conducted over six months, with data sources including the madrasah principal, teachers, and educational supervisors. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Data validity was maintained through triangulation of sources and techniques, while data analysis was conducted using a qualitative descriptive analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Virtual Coaching provided flexibility in supervision, improved teachers' pedagogical skills in utilizing learning technology, and accelerated the process of providing feedback from supervisors to teachers. Teachers also showed increased involvement in ongoing professional development. Obstacles identified included limited access to technology and differences in digital literacy levels among teachers. This study concludes that Virtual Coaching is an effective supervision model in supporting the improvement of teacher competency in the digital era, with recommendations for strengthening technological infrastructure and digital literacy training for teachers to optimize its implementation.
