Abstract

Digital innovation has made a huge impact in the management of zakat and waqf, introducing new efficiencies in the process of collecting, distributing, and monitoring funds. By utilizing technologies such as mobile applications, blockchain, and big data, zakat and waqf management institutions can improve transparency, accountability, and community participation. Islamic crowdfunding platforms and mobile zakat apps make it easier for donors to participate, while blockchain technology ensures transparency and integrity of every transaction. However, challenges such as low digital literacy, limited infrastructure in remote areas, and high implementation costs are still major obstacles. To overcome these challenges, zakat and waqf management institutions need to focus on improving digital education, developing more equitable infrastructure, and implementing better security systems. Nonetheless, the digitalization of zakat and waqf provides a great opportunity to expand social impact and improve the sustainability of Islamic philanthropy in the future. By optimally utilizing technology, zakat and waqf can become more effective tools in creating social justice and economic empowerment.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of creative industry innovation on the entrepreneurial interest of University of Makassar students, with entrepreneurial motivation as a mediator. According to the latest survey on creative economy, this industry has shown significant growth in its contribution to national GDP. However, entrepreneurial interest is still considered low among students, despite having great potential. Through regression analysis, the findings show that creative industry innovation has a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial interest among students, both directly and through entrepreneurial motivation as a mediator. The implications of these findings are the need for increased understanding and awareness of the importance of innovation in promoting entrepreneurial interest among students, by involving various parties such as educational institutions, government, and the creative industry.

Abstract

Along with the development of the business world, it requires business actors to be able to continue to grow so as to generate optimal profits and be able to maintain their business success, but many of them pay less attention to the quality standards of the products produced. This makes the products produced less suitable for consumption both by health standards and religious law (halal). This situation changes the level of consumer awareness to be more critical of what they will consume. The concept of halal products is now starting to be widely discussed and is considered to be a standard for a product. The purpose of including a halal label with a halal certificate is to increase market share and sales numbers. Next, meet the demands and give satisfaction to consumers. Improve product quality, fulfill interest and comfort to consumers, especially Muslim consumers. Providing halal and safe food is a very prospective business, because through halal certification and labeling can invite loyal customers who are not only in demand by Muslims but also non-Muslim communities. Halal food for Muslims is proven to be of high quality and very good for the health of the human body. The existence of halal certification-labeling not only aims to provide inner peace to Muslims but also peace of production for business actors.

Abstract

This research aims to determine calcium lactate levels using the complexometric titration method, which involves the formation of a complex between metal ions and ligands, specifically using EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetate) as a titrant. The sample was dissolved in distilled water, the murexide indicator was added, and titrated with complexon III solution until the color changed from orange to violet as a marker for the end point of the titration. Data analysis shows that the percentage of calcium lactate levels in replication (1) is 93.32%, replication (2) 101.60%, replication (3) 95.93%, replication (4) 103.78%, replication (5) 109.02%, replication (6) 87.87%, replication (7) 95.93% and replication (8) 100.95%, and the percentage obtained the average purity is 98.55%. However, replications 5 and 6 did not comply with the standards of the Indonesian Pharmacopoeia VI edition (94.0–106.0%). This research shows that the complexometric titration method is effective in determining calcium lactate levels with good accuracy, as long as it is carried out with appropriate procedures and strict control of the analysis conditions.
