Abstract

Introduction: Lithopedion is an ectopic pregnancy that progresses to fetal mortality and calcification, as described in the introduction. It is uncommon, with a reported incidence of 1.5% to 2% of all ectopic pregnancies. The fetus expires and is not absorbed by the mother's body, but it evades maternal immunity by surrounding itself with a calcified shell. Lithopedion can be diagnosed through abdominal X-rays, ultrasonography, and CT imaging. Case presentation: A 73-year-old female complaining of abdominal mass for over three decades and radiating pain to the right hip for a month. The patient is multipara with a history of habitual abortion. There was an immobile abdominopelvic mass in palpation. The ultrasound showed a large calcified mass in the pelvic cavity. Abdominal and pelvic CT revealed a mummified fetus, depicting great detail of the fetal anatomy surrounded by a calcified membrane. The uterus was normal. Our case is suitable with lithokelyphopedion. Conclusion: Lithopedion is a seroius condition associated with high maternal and perinatal mortality rates. The condition was not identified during prenatal visits. A thorough history and physical examination are as important as imaging investigations in this setting. Keywords: lithopedion, lithokelyphopedion, calcified abdominal mass

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of investigative journalism in uncovering cybercrime using a literature approach that integrates criminology and sharia law perspectives. The study uses a qualitative-descriptive literature study method with data collected from academic journals, books on communication theory, media ethics, cybercriminology, and Islamic law literature. The results show that investigative journalism has a strategic function as a social control that can uncover hidden cybercrime practices, encourage transparency, accountability, and policy reform. The criminology perspective provides an understanding of the dynamics of criminal behavior and its preventive function, while sharia law emphasizes the principles of justice, ethics, and victim recovery in cyber law enforcement. The integration of these two perspectives builds an ethical framework for cyber journalism that is responsible, fair, and professional. This study recommends strengthening the capacity of investigative journalists through technology and legal training and the development of regulations that accommodate positive legal aspects and sharia values to face the challenges of digital crime effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic education learning using the cooperative learning model. This study uses a type of classroom action research. The design of this study uses the Kemmis & Mctaggart design with four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. Data were obtained using test and observation techniques. The data obtained were then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study indicate that the cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic education learning. This can be seen in cycle I with an average percentage of 50% and in cycle II by 86%. So it can be stated that student learning outcomes have developed in cycle II. Improving student learning outcomes through the application of the cooperative learning model on the material of Q.S. Al-Hujurat Verse 13 was carried out for two cycles. Learning outcomes in cycle I were 66.67% and in cycle II by 76.67%. So it can be said that student learning outcomes improved better in cycle II. Based on this, the cooperative learning model can be used as one of the media that can be considered by teachers to overcome the problem of low student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

Public speaking is a strategic communication skill in supporting the effectiveness of da'wah. From a contemporary perspective, da'wah is no longer merely understood as conveying normative messages, but also as a means of empowering the community. This article aims to analyze the relevance of transformative public speaking as a da'wah medium that is not only informative, but also participatory and drives social change. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach. The results of the study indicate that transformative public speaking is able to integrate aspects of ethos, pathos, and logos in da'wah communication so that da'i can build credibility, engage the audience's emotions, and convey logical arguments that encourage critical awareness. Da'wah based on transformative public speaking has implications for increasing the spiritual, intellectual, and social capacity of the community. These findings emphasize that da'wah in the digital era needs to be oriented towards strengthening the capacity of the community through transformative public speaking skills.
