Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas strategi komunikasi verbal dalam supervisi di MTs SA Nurul Huda. Fokus utama penelitian adalah bagaimana pendekatan komunikasi verbal dapat menciptakan hubungan kolaboratif antara supervisor dan guru serta meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif berbasis studi kasus, penelitian ini mengandalkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui tahap kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi komunikasi verbal yang efektif, seperti penggunaan bahasa sederhana, pendekatan dua arah, empati, dan persuasi, mampu menciptakan suasana supervisi yang kolaboratif dan mendukung. Umpan balik konstruktif dan penggunaan pertanyaan terbuka terbukti meningkatkan refleksi diri guru, sementara faktor internal seperti keterampilan komunikasi menjadi penentu keberhasilan strategi ini. Di sisi lain, faktor eksternal seperti dukungan kebijakan, sarana prasarana, dan budaya organisasi turut berperan menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi sejumlah tantangan, termasuk perbedaan gaya komunikasi, keterbatasan waktu, hambatan emosional, serta kesenjangan pemahaman terkait tujuan supervisi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan yang lebih inklusif dan adaptif, seperti penguatan keterampilan komunikasi supervisor dan guru serta kebijakan pendukung yang berkelanjutan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi pengembangan strategi komunikasi dalam supervisi, dengan implikasi pada peningkatan profesionalisme guru dan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of facility and infrastructure management on the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 1 Parigi. Adequate facilities and infrastructure play a very important role in creating a conducive learning environment, which in turn affects the quality of learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection through observation and interviews with teachers, students, and school administration staff. The results of the study show that good management of facilities and infrastructure has a positive effect on the comfort and effectiveness of the learning process. Adequate facilities, such as comfortable classrooms, complete teaching aids, and other supporting facilities, increase interaction between teachers and students, which ultimately affects the improvement of learning outcomes. However, this study also identified shortcomings in the management of facilities, such as less modern equipment and the mismatch of the number of facilities with the number of students. The implication of this finding is the need to improve the management of facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 1 Parigi, as well as to improve coordination between the school and the government to optimize existing facilities. This research is expected to provide insight and basis for better management of facilities and infrastructure, so that it can improve the quality of learning in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of school principals in conflict mediation and policy negotiations with teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Parigi. School principals play a key role in creating a harmonious and effective work environment in mediating conflicts and formulating policies that involve various parties, especially teachers. Conflicts that occur in schools can be interpersonal or structural, while negotiated policies involve various aspects of school management, such as curriculum, student assessment, and the division of teaching tasks. Through a qualitative approach, this study collects data through interviews with principals and teachers involved in conflict and policy negotiations. The results of the study show that the principal at SMP Negeri 1 Parigi acts as a wise mediator and facilitator by using a restorative and participatory approach. Transformational leadership implemented by school principals has succeeded in creating a more open and cooperative work environment, reducing conflict, and increasing teacher productivity. In addition, negotiation strategies based on open communication and compromise increase agreement and support for implemented policies. The impact of this mediation and negotiation is very positive, strengthening the relationship between teachers and principals, and improving the quality of policy implementation. This research makes an important contribution to the development of education management and provides guidance for school principals in improving leadership capacity and managing work relationships in schools.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kesulitan belajar siswa dapat diatasi dengan adanya minat dan motivasi belajar pada siswa, yaitu dapat ditumbuhkan dan ditingkatkan dengan memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk menjelaskan materi yang sudah dipahami oleh siswa di depan kelas. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian berupa pemberian hak angket kepada siswa di SMA PGRI 37 Batang Kuis agar mengetahui banyak sedikitnya siswa di sekolah tersebut yang termotivasi dan berminat dalam belajar matematika. Melalui praktik lapangan oleh siswa, penelitian kecil ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pembelajaran, serta pengalaman dalam mengajar dan memahami siswa. Hal ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan potensi dan motivasi ke depan dalam pelajaran yang akan diajarkan nanti. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dan survey yaitu dengan memecahkan masalah yang diteliti dengan gambaran subjek yaitu siswa kelas XI yang berjumlah 16 orang. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa ada siswa di kelas 11 SMA PGRI 37 Batang Kuis yang berjumlah 16 siswa, hanya 9 dari 16 siswa yang termotivasi dalam pembelajaran Matematika. Kata Kunci. Students' learning difficulties can be overcome by the existence of interest and motivation to learn in students, which can be grown and improved by providing opportunities for students to explain material that has been understood by students in front of the class. Therefore, the researcher conducted a study in the form of giving questionnaires to students at PGRI 37 High School Batang Kuis in order to find out how many students at the school were motivated and interested in learning mathematics. Through field practice by students, this small research was conducted to improve knowledge and learning, as well as experience in teaching and understanding students. This is expected to increase the potential and motivation in the future in the lessons that will be taught later. The method used in this research is a descriptive and survey research method, namely by solving the problem under study with a description of the subject, namely the students of class XI, amounting to 16 people. The results of this study prove that there are 16 students in grade 11 PGRI 37 High School Batang Kuis, only 9 out of 16 students are motivated in learning Mathematics. Keywords.
