Abstract

Bibliometric research in Indonesia has experienced significant developments in the period 2020–2025, along with increasing attention to the quantification of scientific literature and mapping of research trends. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the growth of bibliometric research in Indonesia, identify the most productive researchers and institutions, and evaluate its implications for the national research ecosystem. By analyzing data from Scopus and Google Scholar, an exponential increase in the number of publications with the keywords “bibliometric” and “Indonesia” was found. Leading universities such as the University of Indonesia, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and Universitas Airlangga are the main contributors. The implications of this trend include increased methodological awareness, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the potential for integrating bibliometrics into national research policies. This study provides a basis for researchers and policymakers to understand the direction and quality of scientific research in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of WhatsApp Business on customer retention of MSMEs in the Papua Pegunungan region and to examine the moderating role of high-quality digital interaction in this relationship. The study is grounded in the context of infrastructure limitations in 3T (frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged) areas, which demand the use of practical and accessible digital communication media. A quantitative approach was employed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0. Data were collected through a survey of 120 consumers who interact with local MSMEs via WhatsApp Business. The results indicate that WhatsApp Business has a positive and significant effect on customer retention. High-quality digital interaction also shows a considerable impact and moderates the relationship between WhatsApp Business and customer retention. The R² value of 0.576 demonstrates strong predictive power. This research contributes to the development of digital loyalty theory and provides practical implications for empowering MSMEs in disadvantaged regions to enhance digital communication in retaining customers.

Abstract

Sei Nagalawan Village in Serdang Bedagai Regency, Indonesia, utilizes the mangrove ecosystem for economic benefits through creative activities and fishing. However, long-term use raises ecological and social problems, requiring a balance between conservation and development. This post-positivism-based study explores the transformation of Sei Nagalawan into an ecotourism center, involving stakeholders such as local government, ecotourism managers and the media. Drone mapping reveals a variety of attractions at Mangrove Beach, but challenges such as marketing, infrastructure problems and limited shrimp cultivation skills hinder community empowerment. This program, led by the Muara Baimbai Mangrove Conservation Group, aims to increase capabilities, improve economic prosperity and environmental awareness. Identified weaknesses indicate low awareness and support. Opportunities arise from tourist interests, but threats arise from waste problems and conflicts of interest. The strategy includes mangrove management, conservation, online promotion and education, aiming to achieve a balance between conservation and economic activities, while recognizing existing challenges and the need for sustainable efforts
