Abstract

Zakat is an important instrument in the Islamic economic system that plays a significant role in reducing poverty and improving the welfare of the Muslim community, one of which is through productive zakat. This study is motivated by the influence of the utilization of productive zakat funds on the income level of mustahik in the Z-Mart program managed by BAZNAS of West Bandung Regency. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze whether the utilization of productive zakat funds can increase the income of mustahik who beneficiaries of the Z-Mart program are. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method through questionnaires distributed to a sample of 60 respondents selected from a population of 151 mustahik using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the validity and reliability tests indicated that the research instruments were valid and reliable. Simple linear regression analysis showed that the utilization of productive zakat funds had a positive effect on the income of mustahik, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 77.5%. The partial test (t-test) revealed that the calculated t-value of 14.146 was greater than the t-table value of 1.671, with a significance level of less than 0.05. Therefore, H₀ was rejected and Hₐ was accepted. In conclusion, the utilization of productive zakat funds has a significant positive effect on increasing the income of mustahik participating in the Z-Mart program of BAZNAS West Bandung Regency.

Abstract

Islamic education plays a significant role in developing children's religious character and improving their ability to read the Qur'an, particularly in rural areas that still face limitations in educational facilities and low learning motivation in Qur'anic studies. Therefore, effective and well-organized educational management is needed to create a structured and sustainable learning process that meets students' needs. This study aims to identify and analyze the role of Islamic education management in increasing children's motivation to learn Qur'anic reading in the rural area of Cikalong RW 06. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a participatory approach, conducted through observation, interviews, and the direct implementation of Qur'anic learning programs for children. The findings indicate that the application of Islamic education management, which includes planning learning activities, organizing programs, implementing varied and engaging teaching methods, and conducting regular evaluations, has a positive impact on improving students' learning motivation, attendance, and participation in Qur'anic learning activities. In conclusion, well-planned and continuous Islamic education management, supported by the involvement of parents and the community, can effectively enhance children's enthusiasm for learning the Qur'an and foster the development of their religious character in rural environments.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and optimize the potential of local culture and economy in Tugumukti Village as an effort to support local development and improve community welfare. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study revealed that Tugumukti Village has various local economic potentials, such as the Al-Barokah Lemon Farmers Group which has grown rapidly as one of the main sources of income for the community. In addition, this village has natural tourist attractions such as Cipalasari Waterfall, Ogoh-Ogoh cultural traditions in commemoration of Independence Day, and the Milangkala Village festival. However, the development of village potential faces obstacles such as the lack of infrastructure and supporting facilities. By strengthening local institutions, optimizing the use of technology, and improving infrastructure, the cultural and economic potential of Tugumukti Village can be maximized to support inclusive and sustainable development. The Community Service Program (KKN) serves as a means for students to apply knowledge in the form of community service, as well as contribute to the exploration and development of village potential.
