Abstract

Form a complete Indonesian man depicted in the description of the National Education Goals faithful, pious, virtuous, intelligent, skilled and healthy. Description of the National Education Goals can essentially be used as a parameter nationally desired generation born from the process of education in Indonesia. The 21st century is marked by the challenges of globalization in almost all sectors of life both in economics, culture, education, technology. Facing the challenges of the 21st century, we need a reliable human resources capable of critical thinking, moral good, skilled and intelligent collaboration. Indonesian Golden Generation is the generation of reliable and is expected to appear on the 100th anniversary of Indonesia's independence (2045) future. Desired Golden Generation is the generation that is able to compete internationally but mastering excellence Indonesia's natural resources in an attempt to survive the threat of globalization of the world. Therefore, it is necessary to develop parameters golden generation of local excellence in the development of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was motivated during the learning process at the preparation center, with the activity of sticking, the child was not able to paste the numbers according to the number of orange trees and when the teacher asked how many orange trees, the child was not able to add how many orange trees. This study aims to improve cognitive abilities of children aged 4-5 years through the traditional game of congklak in Al-Ziqri Kindergarten, Padang City. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 meetings. While the data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and uses a frequency distribution table. Research procedures ranging from planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research from each cycle carried out showed that there was an increase in cognitive abilities in children in counting many objects from one to ten and recognizing the concept of numbers through congklak traditional game activities. Including the traditional games activity of congklak in counting many objects one to ten in the pre-action 20%, continuing to cycle I with a result of 26%, in cycle II with a result of 83%. While the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in pre-action 10% continues to cycle I with a result of 30% in cycle II with result of 80%. It can be concluded that the traditional game of congklak can increase the cognitive level of children aged 4-5 years in Al-Ziqri Kindergarten, Padang City.

Abstract

Pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling dapat memberikan sumbangan yang berarti terhadap pengajaran. Problem akademik merupakan hambatan atau kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa dalam merencanakan rencana kedepannya. Ada beberapa problem sosial pribadi yang mungkin dihadapimahasiswa adalah sebagai berikut diantaranya :1) Kesulitan ekonomi / Biaya Kuliah, 2) Kesulitan berkenaan dengan masalah pemondokan, 3) Kesulitan menyesuaikan diri dengan teman sesame mahasiswa baik di lingkungan mahasiswa, khususnya mahasiswa pendatang, 4) Kesulitan menyesuaikan diri dengan masyarakat sekitar tempat tinggal mahasiswa khususnya mahasiswa pendatang, 5) Kesulitan karena masalah keluarga, 6) Kesulitan karena masalah pribadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi pustaka untuk menelaah pentingnya konseling di perguruan tinggi. Agar tujuan dari bimbingan dan konseling di perguruan tinggi tercapai, hal ini harus dilakukan oleh profesional agar bimbingan dan konseling mendapatkan hasil yang optimal. Bimbingan karir mempermudah mahasiswa memahami tentang dunia kerja dan tugas pekerjaan. Melalui bimbingan karir ini para mahasiswa tahun semester akhir, fresh graduate, para lulusan atau alumni yang tengah berada dalam masa penantian untuk memperoleh pekerjaan akan lebih siap menghadapi tuntutan untuk pekerjaan sehingga dapat meminimalisir masalah yang akan timbul berkaitan dengan kekhawatiran yang tidak siap memasuki dunia kerja.
