Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kognitif anak di TK IT Adzkia III Kuranji Kota Padang. Berdasarkan pengamatan perkembangan kognitif kurang maksimal, mengalami hambatan dan belum berkembang sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kognitif anak dalam menunjukkan lambang bilangan 1-20 dan menghubungkan lambang bilangan dengan benda-benda sampai 20 melalui kegiatan bermain kartu angka pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan penilaian. Jenis penelitian ini berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan subjek seluruh anak kelas B Masjidil Aqsa di TK IT Adzkia III Kuranji Kota Padang tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian dari setiap siklus yang dilaksanakan terlihat diantaranya kegiatan bermain kartu angka dalam menunjukkan lambang bilangan 1-20 pada pra tindakan 20% lanjut ke siklus I dengan hasil 46%, pada siklus II dengan hasil 86%. Sedangkan kemampuan dalam menghubungkan lambang bilangan dengan benda-benda sampai 20 pada pra tindakan 13% lanjut ke siklus I dengan hasil 53% pada siklus II dengan hasil 80%. Maka pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan kegiatan bermain kartu angka dapat meningkatkan kognitif anak

Abstract

The problem in this research is that the social emotional of Children is still not developing as expected, where in block play activities, children only want to play alone and do not allow their friends to participate in helping, then the children choose friends to play with him, and in playing children don’t follow the rules and don’t want to queue up to wait their turn. For this reason, researchers are interested in improving children’s social emotional through the tradisional sonlah/engklek game. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of children’s social emotional trough traditional sonlah/engklek game. The Research method used is a qualitative method with a literatur approach with data collection techniques and data sources obtained from reference books and journals relevant to the Research problem. After obtaining the required data , then the data will be analyzed by connecting the problem with relevant concepts and theories. The results of the research obtained from this study indicated that the traditional sonlah/engklek game is a folk game that is usually played together or in groups so that the traditional sonlah/engklek game can improve aspects of children’s social emotional such as having skills in working together, skills in adapting interacting, adaptibility, self-control, skills in empathy, obeying rules, and skills in respecting others. So in this study it can be concluded that the social emotional of children can be improved through the traditional sonlah/engklek game

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem that the child has not been able to do simple scientific experiments and the child is still unable to recognize cause and effect about the environment. This study aims to improve the science skills of children aged 5-6 years through a simple experiment of mixing colors at the Daud Kholifatulloh Islamic Kindergarten in Padang. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 meetings. While the data analysis technique uses a percentage formula and uses a frequency distribution table. The research procedure starts from planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The results of each cycle showed an increase in the child's ability to do simple scientific experiments and recognize cause and effect about the surrounding environment through a simple experiment of mixing colors at Daud Kholifatulloh Islamic Kindergarten, Padang. Through a simple experiment of mixing colors in conducting simple scientific experiments in pre-action 0% increased in cycle I to 30% and increased again in cycle II to 80%. Meanwhile, in recognizing the cause and effect of the surrounding environment in pre-action, 0% increased in the first cycle to 40% and increased again in the second cycle to 90%. So it can be concluded that a simple experiment of mixing colors can improve the scientific skills of children aged 5-6 years at Daud Kholifatulloh Islamic Kindergarten, Padang.

Abstract

This research was motivated during the learning process at the preparation center, with the activity of sticking, the child was not able to paste the numbers according to the number of orange trees and when the teacher asked how many orange trees, the child was not able to add how many orange trees. This study aims to improve cognitive abilities of children aged 4-5 years through the traditional game of congklak in Al-Ziqri Kindergarten, Padang City. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 meetings. While the data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and uses a frequency distribution table. Research procedures ranging from planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research from each cycle carried out showed that there was an increase in cognitive abilities in children in counting many objects from one to ten and recognizing the concept of numbers through congklak traditional game activities. Including the traditional games activity of congklak in counting many objects one to ten in the pre-action 20%, continuing to cycle I with a result of 26%, in cycle II with a result of 83%. While the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in pre-action 10% continues to cycle I with a result of 30% in cycle II with result of 80%. It can be concluded that the traditional game of congklak can increase the cognitive level of children aged 4-5 years in Al-Ziqri Kindergarten, Padang City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan permasalahan lapangan yaitu rendahnya kemampuan anak dalam menyusun balok mulai dari yang besar ke yang kecil dan mengelompokkan balok menurut ukuran tinggi-rendah. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas, peneliti melakukan tindakan untuk upaya memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan mengenal ukuran (besar-kecil, tinggi- rendah). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan prosedur penelitian mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II tiap siklus terdiri dari tiga kali tindakan. Hasil penelitian dari setiap siklus yang dilaksanakan terdapat peningkatan pada kemampuan menyusun balok mulai dari yang besar ke yang kecil. Pada pratindakan anak belum mampu dengan persentase 27%. Pada siklus I persentase 60% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi persentase 80%. Maka pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan mengelompokkan balok menurut ukuran tinggi-rendah anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui permainan balok meningkat.
