Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan kewirausahaan kepada wanita pesisir. Pemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup, khususnya bagi kelompok rentan seperti wanita pesisir. Kecamatan Labuhan Badas, yang memiliki potensi sumber daya laut melimpah, menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam upaya memberdayakan wanita pesisir agar mereka dapat memberikan kontribusi optimal bagi peningkatan kesejahteraan keluarga dan komunitas. Dengan pendekatan berbasis komunitas dan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, pemberdayaan wanita pesisir diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan. Adapun metode yang digunakan terdiri dari dua tahapan, tahap pertama, memberikan sosialisasi yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada wanita pesisir. Tahap kedua yaitu, memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan dengan tujuan membentuk keterampilan dan kemampuan wanita pesisir di wilayah Labuhan Badas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan pada bulan April hingga Mei Tahun 2025. Melalui pelatihan, pendampingan teknis, wanita pesisir dibekali dengan pengetahuan yang diperlukan untuk menghasilkan keterampilan pengolahan dan pemasaran hasil perikanan.

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Tamekan, Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat, dilaksanakan sejak Oktober hingga November 2025 dengan tujuan mempercepat penurunan stunting melalui pemanfaatan Dana Desa secara efektif. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dalam dua tahapan utama. Tahap pertama adalah analisis situasi dan penguatan kapasitas, meliputi pengumpulan data stunting dan pemanfaatan Dana Desa, pemetaan risiko program, serta pelatihan perangkat desa dan kader posyandu terkait perencanaan berbasis data, manajemen risiko, tata kelola Dana Desa, dan koordinasi lintas sektor. Tahap kedua fokus pada implementasi, monitoring, dan keberlanjutan program, termasuk pendampingan posyandu, edukasi gizi keluarga, pengembangan dashboard monitoring sederhana, serta penyusunan SOP agar program tetap berjalan meski terjadi pergantian aparatur desa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas desa dalam perencanaan, pengelolaan dana, dan monitoring program. Partisipasi masyarakat meningkat signifikan dengan keterlibatan orang tua mencapai 80–90%, sementara pemantauan pertumbuhan balita menunjukkan penurunan jumlah anak stunting dari 32 menjadi 30 anak (6,25%). Skor kesiapan keberlanjutan program mencapai 85–90%, menunjukkan intervensi tidak hanya menurunkan stunting, tetapi juga memperkuat kapasitas institusional, tata kelola, dan partisipasi masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. Evaluasi partisipatif memastikan tindak lanjut yang terukur dan akuntabel. Keseluruhan hasil membuktikan bahwa kombinasi penguatan kapasitas, manajemen risiko, dan monitoring rutin efektif dalam menciptakan program kesehatan anak yang berkelanjutan, dapat direplikasi di desa lain dengan karakteristik serupa, serta menjadikan Dana Desa sebagai instrumen strategis dalam percepatan penurunan stunting.

This study examines the role of community participation and village officials in the development of Labuhan Kertasari Village, Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency. Sustainable and inclusive village development requires synergy between active community participation and the effective role of village officials. This study aims to analyze the influence of community participation and the role of village officials on village development. A quantitative method was used in this research. The population in this study consists of all residents of Labuhan Kertasari Village, Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency, totaling 2,326 people. Primary data were collected through questionnaires from 100 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results show that both community participation and the role of village officials have a positive and significant effect on village development. Active community involvement in every stage of development, from planning to supervision, is crucial to ensure that development aligns with local needs. Competent and transparent village officials in managing village resources are also key factors in the effectiveness of development. Community participation and the role of village officials are essential factors in sustainable and inclusive village development. The implications of this study highlight the need to improve the capacity of both the community and village officials, ensure transparency in village fund management, and foster good collaboration among all relevant stakeholders to achieve more effective and equitable village development.

This study examines the factors that influence employee performance at the Taliwang Sub-district Office, West Sumbawa Regency, with a focus on competence, leadership, and work discipline. Optimal employee performance is crucial for the effectiveness of public services and the success of regional development. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of competence, leadership, and work discipline on employee performance at the office. A quantitative method was used to collect primary data through questionnaires. The population consisted of all employees at the Taliwang Sub-district Office, with total sampling applied in selecting respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to test the relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable based on data obtained from the questionnaires. The results of the study show that competence, leadership, and work discipline have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Adequate competence enables employees to complete tasks more effectively and efficiently. Effective leadership creates a supportive work environment and motivates employees. Good work discipline enhances employees’ responsibility and commitment to their work. This study concludes that competence, leadership, and work discipline are important factors in improving employee performance at the Taliwang Sub-district Office. The implications of this research highlight the need for continuous efforts to develop employee competence, strengthen leadership, and enforce work discipline in order to improve the quality of public service.

Hospital expansion is driven by demand for health services due to the uneven health facilities in Bekasi Regency. This study aims to analyse the development strategy of Putra Medika Hospital using TOWS Analysis and Exploratory Mixed Methods. This research method is mixed. The qualitative phase began with in-depth interviews with the management of the Putra Medika Group Clinic to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. This qualitative data became the foundation for formulating the TOWS matrix. Then, the quantitative phase in the form of a survey was conducted on prospective patients and stakeholders, validating the qualitative findings and measuring market preferences. The qualitative participants were 22 people while the quantitative sample was 40 people. The results of the TOWS analysis show that Putra Medika has internal strengths to capitalise on market opportunities, but also needs to overcome weaknesses and manage competitor threats. In conclusion, Putra Medika Clinic management must integrate the findings of internal and external factors to produce concrete strategic recommendations for hospital development. These include optimisation of superior services, effective marketing strategies, and risk mitigation. The implications of this research offer practical guidance for Putra Medika's management so that expansion in Bekasi can be carried out in a sustainable and competitive manner.

The increasing volume of waste in West Sumbawa Regency has become a pressing issue, driven by population growth, urbanization, and changing consumption patterns that continue to generate more waste, while the capacity of the Final Processing Site (TPA) is limited and nearing its maximum threshold. This study aims to analyze the current waste management practices in West Sumbawa Regency, examine external factors influencing the application of a circular economy in waste handling using the PESTELC approach, and develop recommendations for a circular economy model in waste management through a descriptive qualitative method, with data analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model and verified through triangulation. The findings reveal that the current waste management system still follows a linear “collect-transport-dispose” model, with the Batu Putih Final Processing Site operating through open dumping and limited waste processing, resulting in inadequate waste management both upstream and downstream. Institutional structures are not yet optimally organized, transportation facilities are insufficient, and the concept of a circular economy has not been implemented. The PESTELC analysis shows that the implementation of a circular economy is still hindered by non-specific policies, limited funding and market access, low public awareness, lack of appropriate technology adoption, and weaknesses in legal frameworks and competition. The recommended circular economy model proposes a transition from the current linear system to a sustainable and collaborative circular system, aimed at improving environmental quality and creating new economic opportunities for the local community.

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan mengatasi permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh Industri Rumah Tangga (IRT) Poklahsar Saling Sakiki di Desa Labuan Sumbawa, yaitu ketergantungan penuh pada cuaca dan pemasaran tradisional dalam proses pengeringan ikan teri. Metode tradisional dengan sinar matahari menyebabkan produksi terhenti saat musim hujan dan berisiko menurunkan mutu produk.Solusi yang diterapkan adalah intervensi ganda: (1) Penyediaan dan instalasi mesin pengering ikan bersumber gas (LPG) berkapasitas 100 kg dengan kontrol waktu dan temperatur otomatis; serta (2) Pelatihan komprehensif mengenai pengoperasian mesin dan strategi pemasaran berbasis teknologi informasi (e-commerce). Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui lima tahapan inti: identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan dan serah terima alat, serta evaluasi awal.Hasil awal PkM menunjukkan capaian signifikan: kelompok mitra kini dapat memproduksi ikan kering sepanjang tahun tanpa terpengaruh cuaca, yang secara langsung meningkatkan kualitas produk (konsistensi mutu) dan mengurangi risiko kerusakan. Selain itu, pelatihan pemasaran digital berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman anggota dalam pemanfaatan e-commerce. Dampak program ini adalah terciptanya stabilitas produksi, peningkatan pendapatan mitra, dan potensi kelompok untuk menjadi model adopsi teknologi pengeringan ikan berkelanjutan di wilayah Sumbawa.

This study aims to examine the socio-economic dynamics and changing well-being of livestock entrepreneurs in West Sumbawa Regency within the context of inter-island livestock shipment, a strategic sector that serves as a key driver of the regional economy. Using a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and participatory observations with livestock entrepreneurs, small-scale farmers, and other relevant stakeholders, the research explores how actors navigate challenges such as price fluctuations, limited infrastructure, unequal market access, and the complexity of local regulatory frameworks. The study employs a qualitative research design, with data analysis encompassing iterative processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing until saturation is achieved, while validity is strengthened through triangulation and repeated verification with informants. The findings indicate that livestock shipment activities produce dual effects: they expand income opportunities through broader market access, yet simultaneously generate vulnerabilities for small-scale entrepreneurs due to the absence of standardized livestock quality, price uncertainties, and the dominance of larger capital holders. Government roles in issuing shipment recommendations, conducting animal health inspections, and regulating quotas are shown to be crucial in ensuring legal compliance, population stability, and smooth distribution flows, although administrative constraints and uneven service quality continue to pose challenges. Overall, the study highlights that the sustainability of the livestock shipment sector is significantly shaped by the interaction between social capital, entrepreneurs’ adaptive capacities, and the effectiveness of public policies capable of protecting all actors within the livestock value chain, thereby enhancing the well-being of livestock-dependent communities in an inclusive and sustainable manner.

This study analyzes the role of gotong royong agents in increasing community participation in the development of Peliuk as a center for social interaction, public services, and strengthening social capital in West Sumbawa District. This research used a case study design with a qualitative approach conducted in Kalimantong Village, a pilot location for the Peliuk development policy since 2022. Data analysis involved iterative processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing until saturation was reached, with validity reinforced through triangulation and member checking. The findings reveal that gotong royong agents play a strategic role as mobilizers, mediators, and facilitators bridging village government and community members through the organization of collective labor, the strengthening of shared awareness, and the enhancement of health and social literacy. Their contributions are evident in posyandu services, nutrition education, stunting prevention initiatives, and the updating of socio-economic data through the Village Deliberation, which ensures transparency and accuracy in program targeting. The exemplary behavior of the agents fostered a strong sense of ownership among residents towards Peliuk development and expanded community participation in health services, family education, and environmental management. The study underscores that the success of Peliuk development is shaped by the strength of social capital, the integration of local cultural values, such as belenge and the agents’ capacity to cultivate a self-sustaining, inclusive, and resilient social ecosystem. Accordingly, the operational model of gotong royong agents may serve as a replicable approach for modern village development that is effective, low-cost, and rooted in local wisdom.

This study aims to analyze the role of innovative school leadership in improving the quality of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri Tebo, Poto Tano District, West Sumbawa Regency. The Merdeka Curriculum requires teachers to be more creative and adaptive in the learning process, making the principal’s role strategic in facilitating, guiding, and motivating teachers to effectively apply the curriculum principles. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions to gain a comprehensive understanding of the principal’s leadership practices and their impact on the quality of learning. The results show that the principal applies innovative leadership through routine supervision, teacher mentoring, and fostering a collaborative culture among teachers. These leadership strategies encourage teachers to implement creative learning methods, utilize media and digital technology effectively, and conduct continuous evaluations of the learning process and student outcomes. The participative and adaptive leadership applied by the principal has proven to enhance teacher motivation, student engagement, and overall learning quality. The findings indicate that innovative leadership management is not only administrative but also strategic, collaborative, and focused on improving learning quality. This study provides important implications for teacher professional development, optimizing the role of school principals, and educational policies to support the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in elementary schools.
