Abstract

In order to effectively achieve the objectives of local collective action, institutions must establish guidelines that align with community norms and are supported by organizational incentives and sanctions. This study aims to examine the dynamics of property rights over forest resources and the efficiency of local institutions in managing the Nambo Community Forest (HKm) within the Toili Baturube Model Production Forest Management Unit. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data collection methods include document analysis, in-depth interviews, and observations. The findings reveal that the forest status in Nambo District shifted to state ownership post-HKm policy implementation and Law 23 of 2014, leading to changes in community access rights. Additionally, community forest management is facilitated through collaboratively developed policies and agreements evaluated using the Ostrom principle design. The study underscores the importance of comprehensive strategies involving cooperation among regional authorities, local communities, and stakeholders to effectively manage shared resources like community forests. Strengthening institutional capacity, empowering local communities, and fostering collective action can enhance the sustainability and success of shared resource management initiatives.

Abstract

Banggai yam is an endemic plant typical of Sulawesi, especially the people of Banggai Islands. This study aims to determine the role of agricultural extension workers on the income of Banggai Yams farmers in Alul Village, Bulagi Sub-district. This research was conducted in Alul Village, Bulagi Sub-district, Banggai Islands Regency. The selection of the research site was carried out deliberately with the consideration that Banggai Islands Regency is one of the Banggai yam producing districts. This research will be conducted from January to March 2023. This study used methods with likert and income analysis. The income obtained by farmers in Alul Village, Bulagi Sub-district, which is obtained from the deduction between Total revenue (TR) of Rp. 4,650,000 and Total cost (TC) of Rp. 646,077, then income (π) = TR – TC is Rp. 4,003,923. This means that Banggai yam plant farming can still continue to be cultivated or developed by farmers in Alul Village, Bulagi Sub-district, Banggai Islands Regency because the amount of income obtained is still quite high.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia bisnis saat ini semakin pesat, yang ditandai dengan munculnya berbagai pelaku usaha baru. Kondisi ini menimbulkan persaingan ketat sehingga setiap pelaku bisnis dituntut mampu mempertahankan eksistensinya sekaligus mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas produk dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian, serta peran citra merek baik sebagai variabel independen maupun variabel moderasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling dan melibatkan 75 responden yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS 3 dengan uji outer model dan inner model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk dan harga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Sebaliknya, citra merek memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa citra merek sebagai variabel moderasi memperlemah pengaruh kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian, namun memperkuat pengaruh harga terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Paddy and corn are the main food commodities that have an important role in meeting the consumption needs of the community and as a source of income for farmers, especially in rural areas. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the cost structure, production and income of rice farmers and corn farmers. The research location was in Bonde-Bonde Village, Tubo Sendana District, Majene Regency, using primary and secondary data on the comparison of the cost structure, production and income of rice farmers and corn farmers with a sample of 15 groups of rice farmers and 15 groups of corn farmers. The analysis method used was a qualitative research method using the Miles and Huberman model in analyzing the data obtained. The results of the study show that the comparison of income of rice farmers and corn farmers is very different seen from the planting patterns carried out by rice and corn resulting in differences in the resulting production, costs incurred by farmers and differences in income received by farmers, the difference in the amount of production costs of paddy rice is Rp. 9,766,543 / ha / year and income of paddy rice is 25,609,457 / ha / year while corn farming production costs are Rp. 7,964,045 / ha / year and income is Rp. 28,035,954 / ha / year. So it is known that corn farming is more profitable than rice farming. This is due to differences in land use, use of fertilizers, pesticides, and production facilities that vary so that the costs incurred by farmers are also different so that there is a comparison of differences in farming income.
