Abstract

During the pandemic, the closure of public facilities including swimming pools became a complex problem for the development of swimming sports because especially in Indonesia swimming training still uses public facilities so that it can no longer exercise swimming as usual. Researchers who are also coaches at one of the swimming clubs, are required to provide solutions to the problem. Dryland Swimming Workout was created and developed by researchers who aim to create a series of movements for the exercise of the dominant physical condition in swimming sports conducted on land and combined with the overall swimming movement series as a swimming exercise option if it must be done on land. The research methods used in this study use research and development (R&D) methods. The creation of a Dryland Swimming Workout series for the exercise of the dominant physical condition in swimming is made in the form of a video in which there is a series of motions, instructions, and tools that can be used to perform Dryland Swimming Workout. The forms of movement contained in Dryland Swimming Workout include front streamline, jumping jacks, freestyle, high elbow push up rotation, braest stroke squat, braest stroke, sit up, high knee, back streamline, back stroke, dips, squat thrust, butterfly stroke, butterfly back raise.

Abstract

The three-point shot is a type of shot in basketball that has advantages. The advantage in question is in terms of points. When compared to other types of shots in basketball, the three-point shot has the most points, namely three points. If the three-point shot can be maximized in every match, it will be one of the keys to victory for a basketball team. The aim of this research is to determine the results of motion analysis of three-point shots using the Dartfish and Kinovea applications. This research uses a quantitative-qualitative descriptive research design with sampling using purposive sampling. A successful three-point shot made by a player with an average height of 1.77 m for State University of Malang basketball players had an arm angle of 82.17 degrees, a foot angle of 93 degrees, a ball elevation angle of 49 degrees, a maximum height of the ball of 4.45 m and a speed of 8 m/s.

Abstract

Optimal sports management plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of managing sports clubs and student activity units in higher education environments. This study aims to produce a sports management optimization model for managing sports clubs and student activity units. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document studies at the karate martial arts sports activity unit. Participants in this study consisted of coaches, supervising lecturer, UKM manager, members (active students aged 18-24 years) in the karate student martial arts activity unit. The analysis was carried out using qualitative analysis methods to identify patterns and main challenges in managing sports student activity units. The results of the study indicate that the main challenges include 1) suboptimal financial support, 2) suboptimal facility support, 3) lack of active student participation in sports student activity unit activities, 4) suboptimal implementation of training programs, 5) suboptimal promotion methods for sports student activity units to new students, 6) need for leadership training, 7) need for the use of sport science technology. Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommends a sports management optimization model for managing sports clubs and student activity units
