Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the Halal Label on Siomay Purchasing Decisions in Public Understanding in Lhokseumawe City. The data used in this research is primary data from 50 respondents. The method used to analyze the relationship between variables is simple linear regression analysis using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 25. The results of the study show that the halal label does not have significant influence on the decision to purchase dumplings in Lhokseumawe City. This implies that consumers' understanding of the use of the halal label influences the decision to purchase dumplings, with a t value that is less than the t table, namely 1.091<1.677, and a significance level of 0.281.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms of icons, indices and symbols in the mappacci tradition mantra found in Lubuk Village, Tanjungbatu, Kundur, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands. The object of this research is the mantra in the mappacci tradition of Lubuk Village, Tanjungbatu Kundur, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands, which was obtained from informants. This research method is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews and recording. Data analysis techniques are carried out using data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of data analysis obtained from Cultural Semiotic Analysis in the Mappacci Tradition, Wedding Customs of the Bugis Tribe of Tanjungbatu, Kundur, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands, namely the Mappacci tradition mantra, found the use of semiotics such as icons, indexes and symbols.

Abstract

This paper is based on teachers’ low ability to utilize the environment as a learning source at TK Santo Tarcisius Dumai. It can be seen from the symptoms that many kindergarten teachers still have not implemented yet the concept of environmental insight implementation, a few kindergarten teachers still have empowered the environment as a source of learning, and some educational institutions, especially kindergartens, still do not apply the school concept of environmental insight. The research subjects involved teachers who teach in kindergarten. The type of research is School Action Research (PTS), which aims to determine the success of increasing teachers' abilities in utilizing the environment as a learning source in teaching through demonstration methods at Kindergarten of Santo Tarcisius Dumai. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion in cycle I and cycle II mentioned above, it can be concluded that the application of the demonstration method can improve the teacher's ability to utilize the environment as a learning resource at Santo Tarcisius Kindergarten Dumai. In the first cycle, the teacher's ability to utilize the environment as a learning resource obtained a classical value of 67% and increased to 85% in cycle II.

Abstract

Implementasi Kurikulum merdeka diterapkan di SD Negeri 1 Lambheu mulai tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dan dilaksanakan secara bertahap. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajarannya, tidak terlepas dari permasalahan baik dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan maupun evaluasi pembelajaran. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana problematika guru dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SD Negeri 1 Lambheu Kabupaten Aceh Besar?”. Karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan problematika guru dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SD Negeri 1 Lambheu Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti yaitu menggunakan metode reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa problematika yang dihadapi guru yaitu dalam menyususun perangkat pembelajaran seperti CP, TP, ATP, dan modul ajar, minimnya penggunaan model dan metode pembelajaran, terbatasnya media, menentukan projek yang sesuai dengan tema, alokasi waktu yang kurang dalam pelaksanaan projek, dan melakukan asesmen pada saat pelaksanaan projek. Hasil dari wawancara dan observasi ini dianalisis dan kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif.

Abstract

This paper is based on the teachers’ low-ability in teacher competencies to develop a curriculum of the educational unit level (KTSP) at TK Pertiwi Dumai. Hence, it needs action to overcome this problem through workshop activities. Based on the description of the background, identification, and limitation of the problem, the focus of the research is related to teacher ability improvement in teacher competencies to develop a curriculum at the educational unit level (KTSP). Therefore, the formulation of the research problem is to see whether there is an improvement in teacher ability of their competencies to compile the educational unit level (KTSP) curriculum through workshop activities at TK Pertiwi Dumai or not. In accordance with the background and formulation of the problem, this paper focuses on the implementation of workshop activities that can improve teachers’ abilities in teacher competencies to develop the educational unit level (KTSP) curriculum at TK Pertiwi Dumai. Type of the research is school action research (PTS). Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the teacher's ability in developing the educational unit level (KTSP) curriculum can be improved through workshop activities at TK Pertiwi Dumai. Thus, the teacher acceptance rate increased. The results of comparison aspects of the teacher's ability in developing the educational unit level (KTSP) curriculum through workshop activities from cycle I 58% to cycle II 94% increased.

Abstract

This article discusses teachers’ low skills in using instructional media at the Public Kindergarten of Pembina Medang Kampai Dumai. Hence, it requires action to overcome this problem, one of them is to apply group work. Based on the background description in the identification and limitation of the problem, this research focused on improving teacher skills in applying instructional media. The type of research is school action research (PTS), which identifies the improvement of teacher skills in applying instructional media in teaching through group work at Public Kindergarten of Pembina Medang Kampai Dumai Public Kindergarten. Based on the results of the data presentation and discussion, the implementation of group work can improve teacher skills in applying learning media at the Public Kindergarten of Pembina Medang Kampai Dumai Public Kindergarten. It is proven from the research findings in the pre-test, the average teacher’s skill in applying instructional media is only 40%. After applying the group work in Cycle I, the teachers’ skills in applying instructional media increased to 54%. After revising the group work in cycle II, the teacher's skills in applying instructional media increased to 83%. Thus, the implementation of group work can improve teacher skills in applying instructional media at the Public Kindergarten of Pembina Medang Kampai Dumai.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of hate speech in the comments column of the Instagram account @dpr_ri on the post of the apology and condolences statement of the Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, and explain its legal implications based on Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE). This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, and a pragmatic and forensic linguistic approach. The data collection technique uses digital documentation techniques. The data analysis technique uses content analysis techniques combined with pragmatic analysis to reveal the function of expressive speech acts and relate them to the articles of the ITE Law. The results of the study indicate that the hate speech found includes four categories, namely provocation, incitement, insults, and unpleasant actions. Linguistically, the speech contains expressive speech acts with connotations of hatred, while legally it has the potential to violate Article 27 Paragraph (3) concerning insults or defamation and Article 28 Paragraph (2) concerning the spread of hatred based on SARA. The social implications include the erosion of public communication ethics, the emergence of a culture of aggressive speech, and the risk of criminalization due to low digital legal literacy. These findings confirm that pragmatic analysis and forensic linguistics can be used as instruments for early identification of hate speech on social media, while simultaneously strengthening legal awareness and language ethics in Indonesia's digital space.
