Abstract

Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) Gina Bags, produsen tas rajut, menghadapi tantangan penurunan penjualan akibat persaingan pasar dan keterbatasan strategi promosi digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan prototipe website e-commerce sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan promosi dan penjualan produk IKM Gina Bags. Metode penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan pelanggan, perancangan model bisnis menggunakan Business Model Canvas (BMC), pengembangan wireframe dan storyboard, perancangan prototype, serta evaluasi prototype menggunakan WebQual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototipe website e-commerce yang dirancang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan dan berpotensi meningkatkan efektivitas pemasaran produk. Evaluasi WebQual dapat meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna, kualitas informasi, dan interaksi layanan pada prototipe website. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan strategi pemasaran digital bagi IKM, khususnya dalam pemanfaatan e-commerce untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan daya saing.

Abstract

CV. XYZ is a company engaged in the distribution of herbal products, honey, and books, where one of its main operational activities is delivering products to partner pharmacies. Currently, the distribution process relies on motorcycles, which have limited carrying capacity. This limitation results in inefficiencies in delivery time, increased operational costs, and a higher risk of product damage due to weather conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate alternative transportation modes to improve distribution performance and operational efficiency. This study aims to analyze the investment feasibility of three transportation alternatives, namely purchasing a new box truck, purchasing a used box truck, and renting a box truck. The research applies a techno-economic analysis using Net Present Value (NPV) and Payback Period (PP) methods. Data were collected through field observations, interviews with company stakeholders, and relevant literature studies. The results indicate that all investment alternatives are financially feasible, as they generate positive NPV values. However, the used box truck alternative yields the highest NPV of Rp1,851,659,384 and the shortest payback period of 1 month and 27 days. Therefore, purchasing a used box truck is identified as the most optimal alternative for improving distribution efficiency at CV. XYZ. This study is expected to provide practical insights for investment decision-making, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises in the logistics and distribution sector.

Abstract

Manual material handling (MMH) is a major component of work activities in Indonesia, however it is often performed incorrectly. This can increase the risk of occupational accidents, such as musculoskeletal disorders. According to WHO data, musculoskeletal disorders are the second leading cause of disability worldwide. Based on this issue, this study aims to evaluate working posture and physiological workload risks among workshop operators at CV. XYZ, Sleman, Yogyakarta. It also provides ergonomic-based improvement recommendations. The methods used include Energy Consumption (BMR), Cardiovascular Load (CVL), Nordic Body Map (NBM), and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). Data were collected through direct observation, interviews, pulse rate measurement, and documentation of working postures from four operators. The results show that the energy consumption was adequate for all workers. Three out of four workers had REBA scores in the high-risk category, and one worker showed fatigue with a %CVL value above 30%. Musculoskeletal complaints, mainly in the back and calves, were consistent with Nordic Body Map results. Adding chairs and worktables reduced REBA scores to the medium risk category at all workstations. The proposed ergonomic design could minimize Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs), increasing comfort and productivity. Regular posture and workload evaluations are recommended. Implementing ergonomic work design has proven effective in reducing risks and improving performance.
