Abstract

This research analyzes the local wisdom-based user interface (UI) design on Javara Indonesia's website to support green economy education. A qualitative approach with case study method was used to explore the impact of visual elements, such as color, typography, and traditional patterns, in raising users' awareness of sustainability. Data was collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation to identify the most effective design elements. Results show that the integration of local elements not only strengthens cultural identity, but also increases user engagement and supports digital economic literacy. In addition, the potential use of interactive technologies, such as augmented reality (AR), was identified to enrich the user experience. This research makes an important contribution to the visual communication design literature by emphasizing the importance of culture-based approaches in promoting sustainability. However, limitations of the research include the limited scope of a single case and the need for quantitative studies to further support the results. Recommendations include expanding the integration of innovative technologies and exploring cross-sector study objects to increase the impact of research on sustainable design.

Abstract

Fenomena toxic online disinhibition semakin meluas di kalangan remaja, ditandai dengan meningkatnya perilaku agresif dan menurunnya empati dalam interaksi digital. Kondisi ini tidak hanya berdampak pada kesejahteraan mental, tetapi juga memperburuk kualitas komunikasi sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang kampanye visual yang komunikatif dan reflektif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran remaja terhadap dampak toxic online disinhibition serta mendorong perilaku digital yang lebih sehat. Metode penelitian meliputi analisis literatur, wawancara mendalam dengan psikolog dan target audiens, serta pengembangan konsep berdasarkan Fogg Behavior Model yang menekankan elemen motivasi, kemampuan, dan pemicu. Hasil perancangan meliputi media utama berupa video kampanye “Dear Berry” dan sejumlah media pendukung digital yang konsisten secara visual dan emosional. pendekatan visual storytelling mampu membangun empati dan kesadaran perilaku daring. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan strategi komunikasi digital yang etis, edukatif, dan berorientasi pada perubahan perilaku positif remaja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan dashboard analisis pariwisata berkelanjutan berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang terintegrasi dengan desain antarmuka pengguna pada situs Towilfiets.id. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memperkuat kapasitas pengelolaan informasi wisata berbasis komunitas melalui penyajian data real-time serta layanan interaktif Towilfiets Interactive Assistant (TIA). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods yang memadukan wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan survei System Usability Scale (SUS) terhadap 31 responden. Tahap perancangan dilakukan melalui prototyping antarmuka serta integrasi AI untuk pemrosesan pertanyaan wisatawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor SUS sebesar 98, termasuk kategori Best Imaginable, menandakan tingkat kegunaan yang sangat tinggi dan pengalaman pengguna yang positif. Temuan kualitatif mengungkap bahwa pengguna merasa terbantu dalam memperoleh informasi wisata, merasakan kemudahan navigasi, serta meningkatnya kedekatan dengan komunitas Towilfiets melalui visualisasi aktivitas dan fitur chatbot. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa integrasi AI dan UI Design mampu meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi, mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, serta memperkuat praktik pariwisata berkelanjutan di kawasan pedesaan.
