Abstract

Abstract

Service activites in an organization that the main activitiy is as service’s provider has a very strategic role. The facility that can support health service’s realization through Community Health Center  (PUSKESMAS). Minister of Health Regulation number 43 of 2019 concerning Puskesmas states that Puskesmas is health service that doing public health means and first level individual health, by prioritizing promotive and preventive in their working areas. This study aims to determinate the factors relating to quality of health’s service in Puskesmas Rambung at Tebing Tinggi City. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. With population of average monthly patitent who come for treatment of 68 samples. Sampling method used purposive sampling. The results showed that the variables that relating to health service’s quality at Puskesmas Rambung Tebing Tinggi City are tangibles (p=0,004), responsiveness (p=0,0001), assurance (p=0,0001), and empathy (p=0,0001). Puskesmas health workers must improving reliability through the attitude of officers towards patients, maintaining the cleanliness of the puskesmas environment so that patients who come for treatment feel comfortable and it is health workers considered to improve their performance so that they will be even better in the future.

Abstract

A material given to plants to increase nutrient availability is called fertilizer. This research project aims to find a solution to the environmental pollution problem caused by the accumulation of dry leaf litter. Compost is made using dry leaf litter waste as the main component and EM4 as an aid. EM4 is responsible for breaking down the organic material in the leaves. The finished dry leaf compost is odorless, in the form of loose granules, has a brittle and somewhat rough texture, and is dark brown in color. The research method used is literature research, or research derived from books and print journals accessible on Google Scholar. This type of research uses descriptive studies and several works of researchers with relevant fields of study. Data collected through inductive methods are then analyzed using one or more initial data sets. The obtained data is examined using a descriptive analytical approach. By transforming dry leaves into more useful and economically valuable compost, this research also aims to develop and enhance the creative abilities of the community and the local economy. Bright colors indicate composting that is too dry or moisture levels below 30%. One determining factor of compost maturity is its aroma. The compost fermentation process will produce various strong aromas.

Abstract

The popularity of canned drinks has sparked the idea of making metal crafts from recycled cans. Usually, canned trash is used to make pen holders or other containers without prior processing. However, recycled cans can also be used to create pressed metal art. This study uses this information to identify the types of cans that can be used as components in metal works produced using pressing techniques, the manufacturing process, and the results of experiments conducted to transform used cans into metal works using pressing techniques. Observation, interviews, and documentation are used to obtain data. The findings show that the best material for metal work produced with pressing techniques is lightweight beverage cans (Tebs packaging and the like). The metal in such cans is only 0.3 mm thick, which is relatively thin, flexible, and suitable for the pressing method. This can make marks with just a few presses. The metal is very easy to shape, which saves time. The process of making used cans starts with washing them, followed by cutting them into rectangular shapes, making patterns, sticking them, tracing them with a pencil or old pen, shaping them according to the design, and finishing.

Abstract

The expansion of oil palm plantations is considered a major factor in the decline of tropical forest areas, and negatively impacting biodiversity, especially tree vegetation. This study aimed to identify tree vegetation types and the structure and composition of trees in two oil palm companies, namely PTPN IV and PTPN III. Identification of forest areas was performed by collecting data from the plantations, and processed tree species data using the quadrat method and calculated using the Shannon-Wiener and Simpson's diversity indices. Results showed that tree species with the highest Importance Value Index is Koompasia excels with a percentage of 92.95%, Shorea sp (56.7%), and Koompasia malaccensis (69.32%). Based on tree height, stratum A (>30 m) dominated in PTPN IV with 840 individual/ha, while in PTPN III-1 stratum B (20-30 m) dominated with 330 individual/ha. There were 600 individual/ha in PTPN IV with diameter class of 10-29 cm, 250 individual/ha with diameter class of 30-49 cm in PTPN III-1, and 220 individual/ha with 30-49 cm diameter in PTPN III-2. The highest Shannon-Wiener diversity index (2.148) was found in PTPN III-2, and the highest Simpson's dominance index (0.187) was found in PTPN IV. An inverted "J"-shaped curve indicated that the forest area had a good stand structure, with more small-diameter trees than large-diameter ones. Keywords: High Conservation Value, Importance Value Index, Shannon-Wiener Index, Simpson's Index of Oil Palm.
