Abstract

Child sexual abuse is a serious problem that can adversely affect the psychological and social development of children. Education about safety touch at PAUD Al Amanah Parado is expected to provide early understanding to children about the importance of maintaining body boundaries and protecting themselves from unwanted touches. Data collection techniques used include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data sources consisted of teachers, parents, and children at PAUD Al Amanah Parado. The research procedure was carried out by observing safety touch education activities, interviewing teachers and parents regarding perceptions and program implementation, collecting supporting documents relevant to the implementation of activities. Data analysis techniques were carried out by means of qualitative analysis in which data obtained from interviews and observations were analyzed to find patterns, themes, and related meanings. The results showed that after safety touch education was conducted, the knowledge and understanding of students increased from the aspects of understanding personal body, distinguishing touch, courage to speak, as well as teacher and parent involvement. In its implementation, various forms of activities have been carried out including role playing, the use of interactive images and posters, storytelling, hands-on simulations, and collaboration with parents, this has also had a positive impact on children in understanding their body boundaries.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan gambaran tentang pendampingan dan pelatihan yang diberikan kepada Majelis Taklim Annisa dan Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ) Al-Ikhlas di Desa Risa Kecamatan Woha Kabupaten Bima. Peran penting Majelis Taklim Annisa dan TPQ Al-Ikhlas dalam membentuk karakter dan keimanan masyarakat Desa Risa menjadi fokus utama. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggabungkan wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa pendampingan dan pelatihan pada kedua entitas tersebut difokuskan pada peningkatan kualitas kegiatan keagamaan dan pendidikan di tingkat desa. Pendampingan melibatkan berbagai kegiatan, seperti pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Pembinaan ini dilaksanakan melalui kolaborasi antara pihak desa, tokoh agama, dan masyarakat setempat. Dampak dari kegiatan pendampingan dan pelatihan ini mencakup peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam kegiatan keagamaan dan pendidikan Islam. Majelis Taklim Annisa dan TPQ Al-Ikhlas menjadi pusat pembelajaran dan kegiatan sosial yang memberikan manfaat signifikan bagi masyarakat Desa Risa. Temuan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan panduan bagi pihak terkait dalam merancang program serupa di daerah-daerah lain.

Abstract

In the field of education, there is a growing trend of bullying behavior among early childhood students, which requires systematic intervention through the implementation of child-friendly school policies. TKN 23 Dodu in Bima City is the focus of this study because the school has been striving to implement various preventive strategies to create a safe, supportive, and violence-free learning environment. The objective of this study is to analyze the urgency of child-friendly school policies in preventing bullying incidents and to identify the forms of implementation and their impact on students’ social behavior. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data sources include teachers, the school principal, parents, and supporting documents related to the implementation of child-friendly school policies. Data collection methods included direct observation of learning activities, in-depth interviews, and a review of policy documents and children’s behavioral records. Data analysis utilized the Miles and Huberman model, which involves a continuous process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results indicate that the implementation of child-friendly schools has a significant impact on fostering a culture of positive interaction, strengthening children’s character, enhancing a sense of safety within the school environment, expediting conflict resolution, and promoting more intensive collaboration between teachers and parents. This policy has proven effective as a preventive strategy in minimizing the risk of bullying among young children, particularly at TKN 23 Dodu in Bima City.
