Abstract

The focus of this study is to determine the extent to which the Great Gymnastics program affects the discipline and physical health of students of SMKN 1 Omben. The research conducted is a descriptive qualitative method, namely by directly interviewing students and teachers of SMKN 1 Omben regarding how the gymnastics program at the school is implemented as well as document analysis about how the gymnastics program is run. The research shows that gymnastics activities make students disciplined, especially in terms of their obedience to follow class hours and their significant school assignment responsibilities If it is considered in terms of assessing physical fitness and maintaining vehicle balance, students also respond. Many interviewees said that Indonesia Hebat gymnastics had a significant effect on the program and that gymnastics should be done frequently as an important educational part of students' character building. It is hoped that this research can help schools in creating their gymnastics programs to support students' health and discipline.

Abstract

Online gaming addiction is an activity that is done excessively and tends to interfere with daily life. The focus of the problem in this study is (i) the role of educating students at school (ii) What factors cause students to experience online gaming addiction behavior at MTs Nurul Huda Masaran (iii) Can behavioral contract techniques reduce online gaming addiction experienced by students at MTs Nurul Huda Masaran. The objectives of this study are (i) To determine the factors of online game addiction behavior that occurs at MTs Nurul Huda Masaran; (ii) To determine the factors causing students to experience online game addiction behavior at MTs Nurul Huda Masaran; (iii) To determine the effectiveness of behavioral contract techniques in reducing online game addiction. This study uses a qualitative approach, a case study type of research with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and observations. The subject in this study was a student at MTs Nurul Huda Masaran who was identified as having an addiction to playing online games. The results of the study showed that (i) The research subjects showed symptoms of addiction to playing online games which were obtained from the results of interviews with research respondents and observation results (ii) The factors causing the research subjects to become addicted to playing online games were interactions with people around them, as well as factors of escape and a high level of addiction to playing online games (iii) The behavioral contract technique was considered effective in handling cases of online game addiction behavior where the cases showed changes in online game playing behavior which tended to decrease from day to day. ABSTRAKKecanduan bermain game online merupakan aktivitas bermain yang dilakukan secara berlebihan dan cenderung mengganggu kehidupan sehari-hari. Fokus masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (i) peran dalam mendidik siswa disekolah (ii) Faktor-faktor apakah yang menyebabkan siswa mengalami perilaku kecanduan game online MTs Nurul Huda Masaran  (iii) Apakah teknik kontrak perilaku dapat mengurangi kecanduan game online yang dialami oleh siswa di MTs Nurul Huda Masaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (i) Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor perilaku kecanduan game online yang terjadi di MTs Nurul Huda Masaran ; (ii) Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab siswa mengalami perilaku kecanduan game online di MTs Nurul Huda Masaran  ; (iii) Untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknik kontrak perilaku dalam mengurangi kecanduan game online. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, jenis penelitian studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seorang siswa MTs Nurul Huda Masaran yang teridentifikasi mengalami kecanduan bermain game online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (i) Subjek penelitian menunjukkan gejala kecanduan bermain game online yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan responden penelitian dan hasil observasi (ii) Faktor penyebab subjek penelitian mengalami kecanduan bermain game online yaitu interaksi dengan orang-orang sekitarnya, serta faktor  pelarian diri dan tingkat ketagihan bermain game online yang tinggi (iii) Teknik kontrak perilaku dinilai efektiv dalam penanganan kasus perilaku kecanduan game online dimana kasus menunjukkan adanya perubahan perilaku bermain game online yang cenderung menurun dari hari ke hari.

Abstract

Education in Vocational High Schools (SMK) faces complex challenges in balancing work readiness orientation with character development, which is often hampered by low student interest in Pancasila Education, perceived as monotonous. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing the Goodness Star Charter (PINKAN) as a symbolic reward strategy in strengthening character and increasing learning motivation among eleventh-grade Light Vehicle Engineering students at SMK Negeri 1 Omben. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study collected data through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation studies, which were then analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and verification. The research findings revealed that the implementation of PINKAN had a significant impact on increasing learning motivation and the internalization of positive character traits, including discipline, responsibility, self-confidence, and social awareness. This program successfully transformed the classroom climate into a supportive environment where competition among students shifted toward constructive, positive behavior. It is concluded that PINKAN is an effective and adaptive pedagogical strategy for bridging the gap between the ideal goals of character education and the reality of learning in schools. It also has great potential for broad integration across various subjects to consistently produce students with Pancasila character. ABSTRAKPendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) menghadapi tantangan kompleks dalam menyeimbangkan orientasi kesiapan kerja dengan pembentukan karakter, yang sering kali terhambat oleh rendahnya minat siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila karena dianggap monoton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penerapan Piagam Bintang Kebaikan (PINKAN) sebagai strategi reward simbolik dalam menguatkan karakter dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMK Negeri 1 Omben. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan studi dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa implementasi PINKAN memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar serta internalisasi karakter positif, meliputi kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, kepercayaan diri, dan kepedulian sosial. Program ini berhasil mentransformasi iklim kelas menjadi lingkungan yang suportif di mana kompetisi antar siswa bergeser ke arah perlombaan perilaku positif yang konstruktif. Disimpulkan bahwa PINKAN merupakan strategi pedagogis yang efektif dan adaptif untuk menjembatani kesenjangan antara tujuan ideal pendidikan karakter dengan realitas pembelajaran di sekolah, serta berpotensi besar untuk diintegrasikan secara luas pada berbagai mata pelajaran guna mencetak peserta didik yang berkarakter Pancasila secara konsisten.
