Abstract

Musala Darul Falah is a place of worship for Muslims located in Jorong Koto Tuo, Nagari Lubuk Malako, Sangir Jujuan District, South Solok Regency. The mosque is regularly visited by the local community for the five daily prayers, and it also hosts routine religious classes for children and teenagers. Currently, the prayer schedule at Musala Darul Falah is still managed using a conventional method, specifically a chalkboard. If there are any changes in the prayer times, they must be manually updated. The appearance of the prayer schedule board is quite basic and lacks an aesthetic appeal. In fact, places of worship should incorporate elements of beauty to enhance the comfort of the congregation during prayer. To address this issue, the management of Musala Darul Falah, in collaboration with the Community Service Team, has installed a digital prayer schedule display in the form of a running text device with an automatic call-to-prayer feature. This device can be accessed and controlled through a smartphone. The design and appearance of the content displayed on the running text can be customized by the management according to their preferences. With the installation of this running text device, it is hoped that the management of Musala Darul Falah will have a more efficient way to manage the prayer schedule and add an aesthetic touch to improve the comfort of the congregation

Abstract

In the business world, proper inventory management plays a vital role in sustaining operations and ensuring the profitability of trading companies. This study examines the effect of implementing a perpetual inventory system on stock management efficiency and profit growth. A quantitative approach was applied using a survey method, with multiple linear regression analysis based on financial statement data collected over a five-year period. The findings reveal a positive and significant influence, where a regression coefficient of 0.35 indicates improved inventory efficiency, while a coefficient of 0.45 reflects increased profitability. The system enables real-time stock monitoring, minimizes the risk of overstocking or stockouts, and facilitates timely purchasing adjustments in line with market demand. Based on these results, the perpetual inventory system is recommended as a management strategy capable of enhancing both operational efficiency and the profitability of trading companies..

Abstract

Abstract: The development of this information system aims to address the issue of ineffective and difficult-to-archive information dissemination conducted through the Instagram account "Salingka Tanah Datar" in Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra. To improve this, a web-based news portal was developed using the Laravel framework. This portal is designed to ensure that information can be distributed and archived more efficiently, allowing the public to access news at any time. The development of the system followed methodological steps such as preliminary studies, system planning, user requirements analysis, as well as development and evaluation. Each step was taken to ensure the portal functions effectively. The results of the information system development show that the portal successfully expanded the reach of news and facilitated access to archived information. Moreover, the portal increased community participation in local issues and supported government transparency and accountability in delivering policies and programs. Keywords: News portal, News reach, Website, Laravel. Abstrak: Pembuatan sistem informasi ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah dalam penyebaran informasi yang dilakukan melalui akun Instagram "Salingka Tanah Datar" di Kabupaten Tanah Datar, Sumatera Barat, yang kurang efektif dan sulit diarsipkan. Untuk memperbaiki hal ini, dikembangkan sebuah portal berita berbasis web menggunakan framework Laravel. Portal ini dirancang agar informasi bisa didistribusikan dan diarsipkan dengan lebih efisien, sehingga masyarakat bisa mengakses berita kapan saja. Pengembangan  sistem mengikuti langkah-langkah metodologi seperti studi pendahuluan, perencanaan sistem, analisis kebutuhan pengguna, hingga pengembangan dan evaluasi. Setiap langkah diambil untuk memastikan portal bekerja dengan baik. Hasil pembuatan sistem informasi menunjukkan bahwa portal ini berhasil memperluas jangkauan berita dan memudahkan akses terhadap informasi yang telah diarsipkan. Selain itu, portal ini juga meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam isu-isu lokal dan mendukung transparansi serta akuntabilitas pemerintah daerah dalam menyampaikan kebijakan dan program-programnya. Kata kunci: News portal, News reach, Website, Laravel
